Gregor was on time and efficient. They finished two rooms and an entire basement in a single day. My only complaint is the seal they put down was so thin it has already mostly worn away.

It was perfect, job well done professionally, efficiently, and we were very pleased.

Last year while cleaning the basement I noticed that some places in the floor tile were breaking up and crumbling into powder. Since our house was built around the time tiles containing asbestos were being phased out, I sent a sample to a lab to be tested. I found that there was asbestos in the tile but not in the glue that glued it to the floor. After an on-line review of asbestos abatement companies I selected Gr Tech LLC. I talked to Greg on the phone, gave him the floor dimensions and he quoted me an estimate of $2225. and sent me a written estimate and contract to sign. The estimate was for removal of VAT floor tiles 9X9 (460 SF) by non-friable method approved by NJ DOH. Because the basement area was full of junk, I wanted to wait to have the work done until it was cleaned. On March 19 I faxed him a letter and signed contract saying I wanted the work to be done as soon after May 1 as possible. I waited for him to specify the date he could do the work. When I called him 2 weeks before May 1 to see when the work would be done he said he had forgotten about the date and had scheduled other work right after May 1. We finally settled on June 3. On June 3 Greg arrived at 8:30 for the 9:00 appointment with an additional 3 workers. They entered the basement room through the garage so they did not contaminate any upstairs areas of the house. They taped plastic over the two doors into the basement room, the heat ducts into the room, and a place in the ceiling where the ceiling tiles had come down leaving a opening into the next room. They set up a fan which exhausted air to the outside through the basement window. The air went into a bag which would collect any particles going out of the basement. They took off the baseboards so they could take out the tiles right up to the wall. They then took up the tiles. bagged them, and later showed me a picture of the tiles. They took the bagged tiles with them when they left. They vacuumed everything. Finally they put a light gray epoxy over the floor to seal in any residual tile particles. The epoxy took a few hours to dry to the touch and overnight to dry to walk on. They said I should not go into the room until after the results from the air sample they took and sent to a lab for testing, showed the air quality was OK. Then I could take the plastic down and go in. They finished by 11:15. They cleaned up carefully taking any left over garbage with them. As he left, Greg gave me a copy of the paperwork he had sent to the NJ Department of Health 10 days before the work was to start which stated what was to be done. Later, he emailed me copies of the lab report showing that the air sample showed less than 1% asbestos in the air at the end of the process as required. They did not put the baseboards back because the epoxy was wet when they left. The attached picture shows the floor after their work. Since they did not grind off the glue that had attached the tiles to the floor (non friable removal) the floor looks checkered and is not smooth and flat but looks very nice (see picture). Some people might want to cover the floor with new tile or a rug if the room were going to be used for something other than storage.

Greg was very prompt in contacting us about needing asbestos removal on some piping in our basement. We are selling our home and needed to make sure this job was done correctly. Greg came to our home for an estimate the same day and was able to schedule our removal in a decent amount of time, making sure it went through all the state codes it needed to go through. The removal went very smoothly and we got our clean air results that same day. Greg was very easy to work with, fair, and calmed any fears we had. Greg was on time and presented a quote that was within our budget. We discovered more asbestos tiles upstairs and Greg was very helpful in coming back to check on the new area and revising his quote. Greg Ristonovic is irresponsible and unprofessional. I made an appointment with him for an estimate for last Friday at noontime. Greg didn't show up or call. He didn't call until two days later, stating that he "forgot" about the appointment. As another example of his poor follow-up, prior to the appointment, he had told me that he would call me back on the morning of August 24 to schedule an appointment. He didn't call back until August 28. Bottom line, look elsewhere if you want someone who is professional and true to his word.

I hired GR Tech LLC to remove asbestos from our basement pipes. An appointment was set up for Greg, the owner, to come, inspect what needed to be done, and provide an estimate. He showed up at the appointed time, and was professional, knowledgeable and courteous. He was also very reassuring (I was in a panic about how much asbestos there was and how this was all going to work!). The estimate seemed reasonable (it was higher than another estimate I'd received, but after reading the other reviews for this company, I decided to go with him) and a date was set up to do the work. Greg and his team (2 other gentlemen) showed up at the appointed time and worked tirelessly for 7 hours straight. The work was first rate and the basement looked exactly as it had before they had come (less the asbestos!!!). They made the whole process painless! These guys knew what they were doing and I would have no hesitation recommending GR Tech to anyone that needs to have asbestos removed from their home.

Called GR Tech LLC for an estimate as to what it would cost to remediate a possible mold condition in our basement. Greg, the owner, fielded my call and scheduled a visit to our home within 24-48 hours. He arrived on schedule and examined the cinder block walls that we were concerned about. He advised that the yellowing that we had observed was, in his opinion, not mold but advised us to send out a sample to an independent EPA approved lab that he had worked with for total piece of mind. We did as recommended and they confirmed his findings. Greg is very, very professional and a pleasure to deal with. Highly recommend him based on our experience!

Good but misunderstanding on what work was covered in original quote.

I was having carpet installed. The installers said I had asbestos under the carpet on the stairs and would not pull up the old carpet and install new. I called Greg from GR - he came over the next day, looked at the area and said he didnt think it was asbestos but he could test it. I asked the price and he said around $250, but if I wanted to have it tested myself, it would be less than $100 (was actually $75) and he gave me the name of the testing company and address. He charged me NOTHING for the visit. How refreshing and honest. In the future, I will certainly call him for any asbestos or mold problems.

I could not have been more pleased with Greg. I had a very small amount of asbestos that was overlooked when the rest of it was removed aboutn30n years ago. Others quoted me astronomical rates or did not want to be bothered with such a small job. Greg gave me a fair price and worked with me on scheduling the job. He arrived when he said he would and was very efficient. I highly recommend Gr Tech.

Greg was very responsive and flexible about coming to give us a quote. He showed up on time on the day of removal, and provided all the necessary certifications and paperwork afterward to show that everything was done on par with state regulations. He contained the area and cleaned up even better than what we left him to start with! He also re-insulated all the pipes for us and did a really thorough job. Would recommend GR to anyone and would use him again in the future for any other asbestos or mold remediation!!

They started promptly at 9 and finished around 1:30 doing a very thorough job. After removing the asbestos on the pipes they painted them. At the end they did an air quality test. They were very professional and nice. We would use them again.

It was great working with Greg. He was punctual and communicated every step of the way. The project was scheduled and done on time. There was a little damage during the removal process and he came back immediately to patch it.

Couldn't have gone better, the company I've hired to blown in foam insulation(Angie's too), were impressed with GR Tech's job as they could get right to work without finishing someone else's job cleaning out old insulation.
