MAGRANN INSULATION

This company was hired to do all of the insulation in our new construction home this past summer. After three days on the job my husband inspected the house before we had the official inspection done to be sure everything would be ok. It turns out the headers over the windows were not filled as promised, the corners of the home were not filled as promised, the insulation was not cut and wrapped around wires and beams, and there was a large section of our garage where the installers ripped the insulation in half and place half the amount of insulation required. All of the things I listed above are mandatory by building code standards but would not have been noticed had we not checked their work. We had are sheetrock company scheduled to come in the following week and had to cancel so that we could fix the problems mcgrann left and our home. During the three days they were working in our home we had multiple items from the home stolen such as tools and spools of wire. When I followed up with our salesman to talk to him about this he took over 2 weeks to get back to us, and I have recorded are calls where he said he would be at the home anytime legrand's Cruise or in my house. When they came in to finish the work in the attic and the basement, they never verified times with us so we were not there when they got there. The salesman, who did not show, as he promised, instructed the crew to climb into our home through a window and get to work. They never even bothered to call us and make sure we were OK with them breaking into our home. Theft by deception, actual theft, and terrible work ethic. If we had not gone through and checked their work before installing on sheetrock, they would have expected us to pay them the full amount without providing us the agreed upon service. When we followed up with the operations manager after everything was said and done, his answer to us was "Well, the job is done now. Too bad."

If anonymous, I would answer more fully. They have some conscientious employees and a particularly dedicated estimator who, when given authority to correct problems of other peoples' making (owners), spent a 15 hour day to do so in a hot attic. Outside influence was necessary to over-ride the owner's "obstinacy". Total removal of initial instillation was required.

They were very professional, punctual and responsive. They came promptly to give the estimate and their pricing was reasonable. They did not finish a piece of work and they came out the next day and completed it. The quality of their work was good and I was satisfied with their service.

Went very well. MaGrann was on time, professional and came in within budget. The job was done well.
