I found them through a friend. It was personal referral that brought us to them. The only thing is that I do not even consider bad. It was just that we were a little slow to get into their schedule because they are so busy which clearly means that they are doing good work I think. Everything else was great. They said they were going to be there between 8 and 9 and I have heard footsteps on my roof at 8 o’ clock. So, they were very punctual and on time. My top reasons for recommending them would be their quality of work and competitive pricing. We must have had at least a dozen quotes and they were straight in the middle of the pact as far as their rate goes, but their reviews and personnel response helps.

We had some communication issues in the beginning with the first salesperson but when Joe (the owner) took over the job, things where handled in a curtious and professional manner. This was a large job including re roofing the house and a detached 3 car garage, installing 5 new sky lights, new 6 inch gutters and gutter covers and new siding on two dormers. There were a lot of decisions to make and scheduling of different crews. From our point of view, everything went as hoped. There was some excessive wear on our brand new shingles when the crew came to install the siding. However, Joe had those shingles replaced the following week. We were impressed with the roofing job as they brought out two crews so that the whole thing was completed in one day, including cleanup. Very impressive. The gutters look great, a very clean install. The gutter cover installation was just okay. You can't, see them so it's not a big deal, but there's gaps between the sections and some of the sections are bent. Seems to me that debry is going to get into the gutters in these spots. Overall, I'm pretty satisfied and hope to use their other services in the future.

The salesman that was assigned to you was having some health issues and then went on a planned vacation and this fell through the cracks. When he returned to the office he was only here for a short time and then left to have knee replacement surgey on September 15th, and is now out on extended leave. We cannot apologize enough for dropping the ball on this and would be happy to send another salesman out to visit with you again and get this fast tracked for you if you are still interested. Fair- with going about with estimate numbers.  Did not bother with a thorough inspection of the roof top and inside, basically relying on satellite image of roof top for footage and distance ground visual.  Seemed to be in a rush, not bothering with a sit down and thoroughly go about with all the available options and current state of roof.  I recommend to stay in touch with office, instead of the salesman if you decide to go with trenton roofing with questions and/or concerns.
Compare to my last roof contractor: George J keller, trenton roofing is a joke.  Reach out to them and compare, at the very least, print the consumer questionnaire listed on Keller's website to ask all important question relating contractor work, even if you don't choose them.

They did a great job on our house. They were just great in all respects. They were very professional. They did what they said they were going to do when they said they were going to do it. They were very good to deal with. We found 3 companies for estimates and they were the best in all respects. Their price was good and it was very competitive. I think they also do siding and I will call for an estimate when we need to do the siding. We would use them again for roofing. We were very pleased.

The actual workmen showed up at the crack of dawn and did an excellent, professional job and went beyond the strict wording of the contract. They cleaned up and were gone by the afternoon. Good Job.
The problem I had was in scheduling the initial estimate. It took them a week, and then they wanted a window of 8a-2p which for working people is not reasonable. All other contractors were able to come within 2 days to give us an estimate. Additionally, once we signed the contract and sent the deposit, it took them a month to actually do the work whereas the representative told us they were scheduling 2 weeks out. I had to call the office to question when they were actually going to do the work.

Quick and painless. After speaking with Bill about price, we had a small crew come over to our home within a week and quickly and efficiently clean our gutters which were clogged. Now we don't have any issues with water cascading over the side of the gutters and around our foundation.


Very happy with the work and will look forward to using them in the future.

Estimate was timely and all my questions about the flat roof answered.  Crew actually came earlier than expected due to impending rain.  Soffit and other rotted wood replaced in 1/2 day.  We actually had time to paint the new wood before the rainfall.  They reinstalled the old gutters as we had to wait a few days for a separate crew to install the new gutter.  Prior to this repair, water was pouring over top of gutter during heavy rains.  Due to the suggestion of the larger gutter, that no longer happens.  Trenton Roofing was one of three estimates.  First company was only going to replace soffit and put a screw in existing gutter and seal inside.  Second company wouldn't guarantee the work without replacing the entire roof (which was done 5 years ago).  Pleased that Trenton Roofing had a solution that gave us some middle ground without an exorbitant increase in cost.

w Got multiple estimates. Negotiated a lower price with one contractor, but my conversations with that contractor didn't make me comfortable that he would provide full quality for the price. So I went with the Trenton Roofing bid because of the good reviews on Angie's List and the company's proximity to both my home and work place. The company required payment of half the amount up front, and then billed me for the other half immediately after the job was completed. The company called on Monday to say the crew would be there on Friday, weather permitting. The caller instructed us to take all plants off the porch and move all cars out of the driveway to make room for a dumpster. The company placed a large sign in my yard a few days before the job. They have not come to reclaim it yet, more than a week after the job. Four workers arrived early on Friday, and went right to work. The dumpster was put into the driveway. Large tarps were placed over the front and back of the house to protect windows and porches. The supervisor spoke English well and answered any questions I posed. I watched the work during the morning, came back from work at lunch to check on their progress and then came home about 5 p.m. to see how far along they were. The crew worked very well together, and they worked extremely hard throughout the day. They had completed the job by 5 p.m. when I came home from work. The crew was using a magnetic device to search for nails and other metal debris. I walked around the house, and everything looked great. I hope the company takes pictures of some of these installations so these workers can show their kids and grand kids some day just how well they worked when they were young men. Putting up a roof like mine in one day with four workers is not easy. The next day, a Saturday, a worker came to circle the house one more time looking for debris and to take the dumpster. This worker took a long time to circle the house slowly. I appreciated that greatly. A very hardworking subcontractor came later in the day with one helper to put up the gutters. Again, it was clear that he and his helper knew their jobs. The home looked even better when the gutter installation was through. It has rained heavily a couple of times since the installations and I have had no leaks. The gutters perform much better than the old ones, channeling water away from the house that used spill over onto the porch. The company installed ridge vents, shingles and flashing all look competently done. Nails and other debris are still turning up in my lawn, but it's impossible for me to blame the workers because I watched how meticulously they searched the lawn after the jobs -- both the roofers and the gutter installation guys. No matter how carefully these folks search your yard, I would advise that no one walk barefoot on a lawn for a month or two after a roof is installed or gutters. My only concern about the job was how hard these workers had to work to do the installations. Overall, I was more than satisfied with the quality of the work. I'd recommend these folks to anyone looking for a no-hassles, quality installation at a competitive price.

I was told the crew would arrive between 7 and 8, and they arrived a few minutes after 7.  The crew was very nice and helped me move the outdoor furniture out of harm's way.  They laid tarps around the outside of the house, and got to work.  The whole job was done by 2:30.  They delivered a new attic fan and installed it.  Also, they were able to install a bathroom fan vent after I realized the day before that I needed a new one.  They also did a fantastic job on the attached shed, which I also sprung on them last minute.  It was supposed to just be a layer on top, but they noticed the flashing at the house siding was not good, so they removed the old shingles, installed new flashing, and new shingles.  They did a fantastic job with the clean up; no roof nails to be found.  I can't say enough good things about them, they did an all-around awesome job and the roof looks spectacular.  Highly recommended!
