"Dear [Member Name Removed], Our satisfied customers are the most important to us and this situation should not take place. We are juggling a few projects at the same time so sometimes it might take longer than expected. However, communication is the key and we address that. Also, I am not sure who could be rude since that's not practiced by our workers ever. My apology and it will be definitely discussed at our next meeting. Marcin our project manager, did take care of this project to the homeowner's satisfaction providing credit as well. I apologize for our workers and we will do all possible to prevent that in the future. Kind Regards, Aga"

"It was great working for you. Thank you for your good word."
It was very good, I have never had an issue with them. They treat me very well. Different workers from the company do different things and they are all nice. They do not mind me watching over their shoulder.
The best estimate we got. Job was done as promised. Arrived on time, cleaned up. Did a great job.
The issue is mostly surrounding the large window. When I pay over $700 for a brand new window i expcet that it will look nice, both inside and outside of my house. The inside does look nice, though it was "larger" then my previous window and I didn't want it to be...not sure if Marion measured wrong or if the old size is not available or what. That is a minor issue, though worth mentioning as I wasn't told it was going to be larger and had a mini panic attack when the installer started sawing away part of my wall.
The outside of the window looks horrilbe. It looks like some amateur did it. The trim around the outside is literally resting on top of my siding. It isn't secured at all. It's folded over the wood frame around the window and looks like some bad do-it-yourselfer did it, not a paid professional. I had Marion come out to look at it and I was told that they couldn't do anything since I had aluminimum siding, not vinyl siding. He basically said that if I had vinyl siding it would look how it should, but since i didn't I was SOL. I didn't feel like arguing and let it go. However, I recently had a few other companies come out to give me quoates as the window started leaking and I was told by 2 separte companies that MAK did a horrible job and that they were embarassed for them. They basically said that they should have made the trim go into a "J channel" I believe and also mentioned that the piece of siding above the window was not installed correctly. Though MAK "left" the existing topper as is, per the other companies they should have fixed it as that can cause leaking in the new window. It was suggested that I give MAK another shot to repair their mistakes and it's been about a month now and I have not heard back from the owner, Marion. I guess now I will be ignored therefore I wanted to warn others about them. I personally liked him, but after discovering that there were ways to properly handle the trim even with my aluminum siding, I'm very disappointed and upset at how Marion handled the situation.
The workers were very professional and completed the entire job in one 12-hour day. We are very happy with our new roof. So much so, that we've actually asked MAK to do more work around our home--eg, siding and caping sunporch.
Cleanup was also great--as I only found a handful of nails and some old shingles around the property. This is VASTLY better than other roofers I have used in the past that leave your yard littered with nails, etc.
So while communication could have been better, it was good to have dealt with an honest contractor and one not eager to push unnecessary products or services in order to make a quick buck. When it's time to do the roof, I'm confident they'll be our first choice.
They were recommended to us by a contractor in Washington Crossing.
