We were doing a double-closing the Friday before labor day weekend. I called 4 or 5 moving companies to provide an estimate for a move that would entail loading on Thursday and delivery on Friday, storing the contents on the truck overnight. The move was relatively local (within 30 miles of Toms River). Of the 4 or 5 only 2 called back. One missed the date for the estimate. Bill of Quality Moving showed up as scheduled, reviewed the contents, and provided an estimate, explaining the process. He only charged a nominal fee to keep the contents on the trucks overnight.
On the day of the move, the trucks (we needed 2 for all our stuff) arrived early, The movers were professional and efficient. They took special care of a few antique items that my wife was fearful would be damaged. They negotiated furniture and boxes from three floors using a small staircase with ease. The move out went off without a hitch taking approximately 3.5 hours.
The next day, the same crew showed up on time, and proceeded to unload efficiently and without complaint (considering it was the hottest day of the summer). They moved the furniture where we wanted it to be, and loaded the boxes in the garage at my request. Total time to unload was approximately 3 hours.
All items including the antiques were undamaged (except for a minor issue where a wood caster cracked on a curio cabinet - but that would have happened regardless from simply moving it).
The total cost of the move actually came in under estimate.
The gang at Quality Moving, at least for me, alleviated one worry from the stressful situation of moving from one home to another.

Owner was responsive on initial contact and when we made reservation. Never called to confirm and stated when I called him that he tried to call but no message was recieved. The moved took 3 times longer than the time we were quoted. There were 3 movers who wer nice guys but extremely slow. In the end we had to have them move all the boxes into the garage and bring them into the house ourselves to to get the job done for less than $1000. We were quited for $500. We called the owner to complain. He said he would talk to the guys and call us back. he never called back. We called him again and he did nothing to try to resolve the situation.
