Bob was great to work with. Good communication. We had a slight crack show up and he came back out in a timely manner to repair with an upgrade product so it did not happen again. He even went as far as laying top soil and seed along the sidewalk. He clearly stands behind his work. I would definitely hire again for any future work we need.

It could not have gone any better. Jersey Shore weather was an issue but Bob kept in constant contact to let me know when they were coming. Price was comparable to to others. Not the highest or lowest but Bob was the most responsive which is important to me. Project was bigger than expected -two days versus one -but Bob did not ask for any more money.He and Joshua did a great job AND cleaned up as though they were never here. Would/will hire them again in a second

I needed a small repair job on my driveway due to a utility pole being replaced. Bob came by and gave me reasonable estimate for the worked that needed to be done. He came back about 2 days later due to another job being delayed and repaired my driveway. He and his guys did a great job. I would recommend them to anyone who needed some paver work done.

Bob's work was fantastic. I was not excited to have the fireplace stone replaced but didn't have much of a choice. When Bob was done, I couldn't have been happier with his work. It looks like it has always been a part of our 1920's house. He genuinely takes pride in his work, learned tricks from the generations of his family that have run the business, and cared about the final product. I also really liked that he was there doing the project vs. just overseeing. As with most projects, there were little unforeseen changes/additions, and he was very fair about incremental costs. I'm glad I found him on Angie's List, and I wouldn't hesitate to use him again.

Bob came when scheduled, both for the estimate, removal and install of our driveway strips. Most professional, courteous and conscientious pair of construction gentlemen we have seen in a long time. The estimate was fair, the work done as planned and looks great. Could not say enough good things about them.

Bob and his guys were professional, on time and did a fantastic job. People keep stopping by to tell us how amazing the house looks. The color really compliments the house and brings the curb appeal of our home way up. One neighbor said that the stone looks like it was always there, not a later addition because it fits so well in the design of the house. I highly recommend hiring Bob because of the pride in his workmanship and attention to detail. The guys left the work site pristine every day before they left. I would definitely use Gugliocciello Masonry LLC again for any future masonry projects.

Gugliocciello Masonry did a great job! Bob responded to my call and offered opinions and suggestions that helped make the project easy. Bob and Josh worked the two hottest weeks in July and met all my expectations. What else can I say—they were prompt, efficient, neat, reliable, courteous, extremely professional, straight-forward, provided excellent service and even put up with my dog! Their skill and craftsmanship are excellent—the retaining wall, garden wall, pavers, and steps are impressive. They always made sure they left the area clean and kept me informed of their daily plans. My property is at the end of a cul-de-sac and their work transformed the neighborhood. The comments from all the neighbors have been extremely positive. Everyone just loves the new look! I would absolutely recommend Gugliocciello Masonry and wouldn’t hesitate to use them again!!

The work went beautifully! From our first contact with Bob Gugliocciello, we were impressed with his professional manner. He provided the estimate when promised, gave excellent suggestions on how to approach the repair/replacement, and kept us informed about the date he would be able to start given his busy schedule. First day of the job, we were impressed with the members of his crew who were also very professional and considerate of our family and neighbors. Bob was onsite with his crew, overseeing every detail. The results were exactly what we had expected with no surprises! We would hire Gugliocciello Masonry again in a second. Bob told us he is a fourth generation mason, and it really shows! Great work and thank you, Bob!

Bob returned my initial call very quickly.  Set up a time for the next day to come and take a look at the chimney--give me an estimate.  There was need to call anyone else for an estimate.  I knew I had found the person to do the work I needed done.  In between all the rainy days we had, he was able to come and wire the chimney so he could reface the chimney.  (When the chimney was built, years ago by someone else, it had never had wire applied, thus the facing was cracking and breaking off.) Bob came to the rescue.  After applying the facing which needed time to dry, he returned promptly to apply the acrylic.  The workmanship is beautiful and will last for many years to come.  I am extremely pleased with both the work and the cost of the job.  
Bob is a very personable individual and extremely professional.  I would definitely hire him again if I need more work done.  No need to look for anyone else.  He's one of the "good guys".

It went very well.  My initial call was returned promptly, he came out to do an estimate.  He was honest with his timeframe.  He provided a more than fair estimated.  He always returned any calls and answered all my questions.  The work was completed when I wasn't home.  He was trustworthy and contacted me during the day to indicate the job was completed and went very well.  The work was completed on Friday, November 6th and I am very very pleased.

For the work, he wanted $1780. It was double of what the other company charged me. I think that's outrageous. He wrote down the estimate but I said "no." He called back later and said that maybe we could work it out but I said "no."

"Let me begin by saying that everything except for the price of work in this statement is false, I have never told anyone that I would work it out on price because the price I come up with is what I feel it will cost me to complete the work at the highest level of quality, and it is not negotiable. That being said, I have since been by the house and saw the work that was supposedly done for "half the price", and it is horrible... Proving that you get what you pay for. So if low grade work that will almost certainly come apart again soon is what you are looking for than by all means take the lowest bid. If you want quality work done it is rarely the cheapest."

In my experience, too many contractors charge inflated rates for services performed by unskilled help and are more interested in rushing through projects than providing quality work. Don't even consider anyone else! I've done a lot of renovations but I've never had such a great experience EVER. Bob knew I was in a time bind and he found a way to fit my small job in...but THEN he went the extra mile and figured out how to fix a huge problem with a perfect inexpensive fix...and THEN came back on his own and did it! Who does that?!?! These guys do..,that's who...just FANTASTIC!

He returned my call the same day, and showed up at the appointed time. The repair went flawlessly (of course the weather may be an acceptable reason for delay of a day or two.) Upon completion, the work looked perfect. He also took it upon himself to repair a hole or two in the driveway without additional charge. I recommend him without equivocation.

Contacted Bob and we set up an appointment. He arrived on time inspected the site and said he would email me an estimate for the work to be performed. I received the estimate the next day and agreed on a work date. The work start date was held up a bit because of the weather conditions which are beyond our control. But, when the weather co-operated, Bob was there when he said he would start. The job was completed quickly and neatly. Bob is very professional and I would not hesitate to hire his services again and highly recommend him.
