We were doing renovations to the bathroom and installing sheetrock when I acidentally put a screw through the hot water pipe. I immediately shut off the water main to the house and searched Angies List for a plumber. I called Coraggio's at 4:10pm. The technician immediately called me back, was at my house 5 minutes later and the job was complete by 5:00pm. We lucked out because they were in the area, but their responsiveness was impressive nonetheless. I thought the price was a bit high considering it was a pretty simple job that took less than an hour, but I guess you get what you pay for. I'll definitely keep their number handy in case any other plumbing needs arise.

The work turned out all right. I had a leak in my basement. They came out and opened it up and left. The problem started again. They came back again, but they didn’t have the camera equipment. They snaked the line and found that it was not a blockage, but a broken line. So, I had to call a different company which they recommended.

They returned call same night we called them and provided a lower estimate over phone and were able to come first thing to address no hot water/replace hot water heater. They came but pushed back start time, about an hour. Once they came they reviewed the situation and indicated we needed to change from the 3" to the 4"(which another service provider had already noted in giving their estimate might be needed); the other costs came from indicating needed to replace the piping and the cutoff. We added the work on the faucet and the sink drain.So the actual total cost of the water heater was about $400-$500 more than we anticipated. They did work at the house for around 5-6 hours.

I've never been satisified with a plumber in the past until I came across these guys.

They were able to repair everything with exception of basement. This requires a full shut off. The repair person explained the situation with shutoffs being in poor condition (visually could see it) and that best approach was to call the utility company, locate shut off at street, get it marked. Then come back and attempt to shut off- in case they break, can then use street shut off. Also, outlined cost to repair very old faucet in basement, or replace. So can make choice, and purchase faucet on own at a reduced price to supplying it directly. It was great to get all the leaky faucets repaired, and in fact one became easier to move in process. Will call back to repair all shut offs.

Upon moving to New Jersey seven years ago we tried a variety of local plumbers none of whom provided quality work. Finally we found Coraggio. They are professional, reliable, responsive in emergencies, and do high quality work. I believe their prices are competitive.

Coraggio Brothers Plumbing and Heating Company prices are a little too high. The price reflected was only for the installation. I bought the toilet elsewhere. They did return my calls and the work was fine. They also helped me to get an electrician.
