Tun Tun Construction just completed an amazing job on our patio, retaining wall, landscaping and step. It all came out even nicer than we had hoped for. Julio's suggestion to make it a little bigger than we had originally thought we wanted was right on. They were on time with your start date, and completed the work earlier than imagined. The workers were friendly and respectful, and the work was done neatly with no debris left behind. We are happy to recommend Tun Tun to neighbors and friends. Our family will have great pleasure and be enjoying the evidence of their excellent work on our patio for many years.

Julio answered my Angie's list inquiry immediately, and came to estimate job in a day or two. He started right away and finished on time and there were so many details he took care off that I never thought of or weren't even gone over in the contract. Julio and his crew did meticulous work and constructed a beautiful paved pad that was filled with sand and leveled perfectly (my yard is way out of level) He and his crew did a tremendous amount of work leveling and regrading a lot of the yard to make sure it matches up to new work and is pleasing to the eye from far away and up close. and I am extremely pleased with the job. This pad is so well constructed and beautifully designed after the pool is long gone we have plans to make it a flower garden or even a base for the greenhouse we always wanted. Thank you to Julio and his son and crew for doing such a great job and finishing when he said he would. It is professionals like Julio who make Angie's list as popular as it is. One more little point but I think it speaks volumes about his professionalism, Julio and his crew had to slightly cut over 200 pavers so he could make a perfect circle as I requested. He usually uses a chop saw to make so many repetitious cuts which is quick but dusty, Julio noticed my wife had our windows open and also that a neighbor had some white clothes out in the sun so he went back to get a wet saw which takes more time but creates no dust, so very thoughtful. You will not be disappointed  with Julio and Tun Tun Construction.

We requested that Julio provide us a quote for re-doing our aging front entry steps (3) as well as landing.  In addition to a walkway that connected the the front steps to our side patio.  They also created new steps and landing for our side entry (double sided entry of 4 stairs).  His team was awesome.  The were very prompt, very courteous and their attention to detail was amazing and they were able to match our existing pavers perfectly.  They made a bunch of good recommendations that we might not have thought of on our own as well they were very open to changes or decisions that we wanted to re-visit in the middle of the process.
I would certainly use Julio and his team again.  You can tell he is an old world craftsman where his skill is only outweighed by his his desire to have happy customers!

The whole building process was speedy with high quality. The work started about one week post the contract signing. He had workers on the project everyday, even over the weekend. I was impressed by their attention to details and the drive for quality. In about one week, the work is done. During the process, when they encounter any small things not covered by the contract, they just fixed it without bothering me, or adding additional fees.

This company was a pleasure to work with.  They began work when they said they would, explained everything that was going to be done, made sure we knew exactly what we were getting, and made sure they understood our needs.  In other words, communication was great!   The quality of the work was excellent, and the offered selection of blocks, paving stones, etc. was extensive.
Julio, the owner, even made sure to finish up the job with extra details (partially rebuilding an existing retaining wall and an extra area of pavers for a nicer appearance) at no extra charge.  They clearly take pride in their work.
After the contracted work was finished, they put down new top soil and re-seeded my front lawn which their equipment had, of necessity, chewed up a bit.

The project went really well. Julio is very responsive and answered all our questions. The job started on time and finished as planned without any glitch. Julio treats his customers with respect and his team did an excellent job with the installation and clean up. They even offered to spread grass seeds and put everything in its place. He is such a wonderful person to deal with. He is not all about business And understands our needs and concerns. Overall, Julio and the team are the greatest team to deal with and the project went very smoothly. We are happy to say that we will definitely hire them again in the future.

From the beginning, Mr. Calderon, the owner of Tun Tun, made valuable recommendations that made the job move along smoothly. He helped the home owners select the best pavers to use for the job, and what shape the patio and stairs should take given the area and landscaping.  Tun Tun always finished each phase of the project according to the stated timelines and was never late. Also, Mr. Calderon was always available by phone or in person to answer any questions immediately. Most important, the patio and stairs tuned out to be more beautiful than imagined, and the construction is solid. Their work is outstanding with attention to every detail. Everything went according to plan. They finished on time and did a great job overall. Julio, his sons and team were always on time and cleaned up after themselves and were very professional. They listened to our concerns and alway made sure we were happy with the service by always going over the woke to be done to make sure it was done exactly as we wanted.

Julio and his team did a terrific job on our patio and retaining wall in June 2014. Him and his team were timely, cleanly, and committed to creating our dream patio. He did everything from take me to personally pick out the stones, showed me recently completed projects to show us the quality of his other jobs, and walked me through every step of the process as his team completed our patio and retaining wall. The end result was flawless and we have received compliments from everyone who has come to our yard. Also what I liked most about Tun Tun is that it is truly a family affair with his son Julio Jr. providing great support on the project. Now, a year later, I have called on Julio again to add some lighting to our patio area and reinstall some pavers ruined by one of our other thoughtless landscapers. Of course, he was fair in price and was quick to respond to our need. I also plan to use Tun Tun to re-pave our driveway later this year. I will use Tun Tun time and time again and recommend that you should too.

Initially I used Julio to rebuild a retaining wall. I was very satisfied with the work product. Moreover, I felt Julio and his sons were very straight forward and easy to work with and his staff do a quality job. I hired Julio for a much bigger project this spring to rebuild my patio. Julio is the best. Showed up on the date we agreed upon to do the work and everything went great. Staff was great and also his son was great to work with. Also added 2 new projects with him while we was working on the driveway. He was very accommodating and got the job done in time promised. Already spoke to him about 2 other projects for the spring.

I contacted Julio (Tun Tun Construction) via Angie's list due to his numerous positive reviews.  He replied that day and drove 3 hours round trip to give us a free estimate of the project ON A SUNDAY MORNING.  Immediately after meeting him i knew we would want to go with him.  His estimate was on point and affordable for the amount of work we needed done, he was also extremely personable and responsive.  He replied to every email i sent him within the hour and i sent many.  He allowed us to pick the materials we wanted through various sources and went out of his way to make sure we got what we wanted.  His crew worked from 8am to 7pm and finished the job in less than 2 days.  During the installation of the patio, he sent me pictures of the ongoing process while i was at work.  He also removed several tree stumps and leveled out our yard, planted grass seed.  The work was phenomenal and as mentioned earlier, he went above and beyond what was agreed upon.  We have several more projects we'd like to accomplish in the future and we will definitely contact Tun Tun in the future.  All of our friends and family can not believe the transformation.  Thanks Julio!!

Julio was fantastic.  We chose him because he was attentive.  As we were picking out the pavers and material we wanted to use, he would drive to our house to walk us through everything including the positives and negatives of each approach.  One we settled on everything, Julio and team came and did the work perfectly and very quickly.  If I had another project, I would absolutely use Julio and his team in the future.

Julio and his son came over the same day that I contacted him to measure and discuss the job. He made a point of having me go to see the paver tiles at the landscaping supply before selecting paver type and colors, and he even met me there to make final selections. He has a very professional team that carried out the work over five days, and they even reseeded where wheelbarrows made grooves in the lawn.  The result is fabulous; we are very happy.
