My inspection was scheduled two days after contacting E&G, which I was very pleased with. The technician Ray was prompt and professional. He thoroughly inspected our blankets, pillows, sheets, mattress, box spring, baseboards, behind the baseboards, around the bedframe and in the electrical sockets. He brought an information sheet about bed bugs and explained many things about the behavior and activity of the insects. At the conclusion of the inspection, Ray also gave us options for what to do if bites continued including treatment costs and what to expect from treatment procedures and schedules. No sign of bedbugs were found, and it was concluded that we were suffering from mosquitos, not bed bugs. (hooray!). I will definietly use their service again.

Everything was fine, but when I had racoons in the attic they charged me $650.00 which is almost double what another company charges.  This same company charged me $450.00 last year.  What I thought was strange with the racoons was that the tech was able to set his own price. The tech that comes for the ants/bees does an excellent job.

The problem was easily solved.

They do a good job and I am very satisfied with them. They are very thorough and we have no complaints.

They are competent and their price is good.    

I think everything went well.  I’ve had termite treatments before so I guess the proof will be whether the termites come back or not.  One thing that made this company different than the others is that they drilled from inside the house in my problem area. He was an hour late.

I would like to recommend them. The salesman was very knowledgeable, helpful, kind, courteous, and on time. I liked them a lot. I actually didn't have termites. I am actually selling my house and the building inspector found termite damage. I went ahead and had E&G perform termite treatment although I don't have termites so that I could just give it to the real estate agent. The construction worker was great. He was courteous, on time, and knowledgeable. He did a great job. That did pass my building inspection for the township. I also had them give estimates on additional work because they were very good, but I haven't gone ahead and done that yet. I will be calling them to do some additional work in my house. Not only do they treat the termite condition, they also do repair work and they also do home improvement.

Came in sprayed. No problem. They will return free of charge if bugs come back.

They were fine. They were professional, they were on time, and they did a nice job. There was no mess and no fuss. I don?t have anything to compare the price against but I think it sounded fair.

Termites tracks were found on a home inspection. I contacted E&G and got an in home estimate within 2 days. It was explained what would be done in detail including a picture of what areas would be treated and how that would protect the home. Once I agreed to the terms, the work was scheduled within 4 days (due to my work shedule). The exterminator arrived as scheduled, did what was promised and left the work area clean. I was very pleased. Everyone I encountered during the process was professional.

After 6 months we finally had a buyer for our house. The home inspection pointed out that we had termites. I had another company do the extermination. They informed me that there was structural damage. I was panicked since I did not want to lose our buyers, and did not know the extent of the damage. I only had three weeks to closing. I called for estimates two companies I found on Angie's List, but there were no reviews for either. Both companies came the next day for free estimates. E & G gave me the estimate on the spot, and told me they could do it the next day. The other company had a higher estimate with no time frame when it could be done. I was in a hurry, and after finding E & G had a A rating on BBB.org, I went with them. They came promptly the next day, replaced both sills, cleaned up after themselves, and did an outstanding job. They also explained what they were doing, and were very polite. If I had gone with the other company, it would have been a lot more expensive since they charge by the foot, and who knows when it would have been done. I highly reccommend E & G Exterminators.

Mixed bag-lots of follow-up on my part, a large outlay of cash. First location-squirrels. Several entry points-old wood by gutters was chewed, squirrels nesting inside walls of house. Estimator Richie says $1400 to take down an old tunnel, seal holes, apply new tunnels. I was paying by cc; Rich took my cc info at time of est; they charged me $700 on day of est., bal. next day when workers came. First set of guys weren't bad. Installed one-way tunnels in some holes, covered other holes. Told me to call after no more squirrels heard. I realized afterward they'd missed 2 holes, so called them within 2 days because still hearing animals. After more than 2 weeks, they returned to cover remaining holes so we could start waiting for squirrels to leave. A month later I asked them to come & finish. They removed all tunnels, cover holes with patches (not carpentry work, which Rich had said would be additional). But about 2 mos later I noticed that one of those patches wasn't metal, but a piece of vinyl siding, which the squirrels had easily chewed thru again. Called again for new patch. I questioned why they don't allow us to pay in installments, with bal. after finish of job, like most companies do. I was told the work is guaranteed for a year, so in other words, they're going to charge you up front, then it's up to you to keep calling to make sure the job is done. 2nd location-they couldn't say if it was rats or squirrels or both. Rich quotes $2200 (!!!!!) to include a one-way tunnel at gutter (workers said this wasn't needed so they didn't do, yet no refund given), replaced chimney cap which I owned but had come off, cage in attic, "rat-proof basement & seal all holes, dryer vent-seal it, & vacant sewer pipe-cap it, tack up insulation." Workers stuffed openings with copper wool (Stuffit), tack up insulation, put cage. Same night, I hear an animal in a 2nd FL radiator where never before heard. I call E& G and leave msg. I see the copper wool pushed in/pulled out in 2 places, so I think it's not really a rat deterrent. No one responds to first call. I call again; on Christmas Eve 2 new guys come and put Stuffit again. I say that doesn't work, can you do something more? When I insist, they put a too-fine-gauge wire mesh on 2 holes. I call to get openings sealed more permanently per estimate. Guys come one day, it's raining, they do nothing. They never contact me again. I write them a letter detailing all, asking how we can proceed. I'm saying I'd like half my money back because it's still not finished & it seems they overcharged. No reply. I call. They say they received no letter. I tell them I'll send again. I sent it. A guy Eddie comes to see what I want. I talk about permanent closure of holes. I talk cement & metal caps. He nods but comes back next day & puts poison foam in all holes. Says he can come back and trim the expanded foam. I doubt I'll bother. Each new set of workers was less capable than the ones before them. I think too much $.

E & G Exterminators does a very thorough job of checking for termites and ants. They are very professional and come without being nagged. I pay them an annual fee for their 4 yearly visits. I'm very happy with their service and would recommend them.

THEY SHOWED UP WHEN THEY SAID THEY WOULD BE HERE. THEY WERE VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE OF THE INSECTS AND OF THE CHEMICALS THAT THEY USED. THEY ALSO EDUCATED US ON SOME PREVENTION TIPS.

THIS COMPANY IS GOOD. THEY WERE ABLE TO ANALYZE THE PROBLEM THAT WE HAD AND GIVE US AN IDEA OF WHAT WE NEEDED TO DO TO SOLVE THE PROBLEM. THEY KNEW EXACTLY WHAT THEY WERE DOING.

THIS COMPANY WAS VERY GOOD. THEY COME RIGHT WHEN THEY ARE SCHEDULED TO AND THEY GET THE JOB DONE QUICKLY. WE REALLY HAVEN'T HAD ANY PROBLEMS WITH PESTS AT ALL SINCE THEY SPRAYED. WE HAVE A YEARLY CONTRACT WITH THEM, SO WE PAY FOR THEIR SERVICE ONCE.
