I installed a new heater and air conditioning unit spending $20,000 - yes it was 2 years ago but they installed it on mulch and it sunk and now they want $2,000 to level it. No customer service and the owner wont call me DO NOT USE THEM save yourself Heartache

A little late but I though it was worth posting thanks to Heather at Bovio Rubion she was able to get me a credit of $157.27. Not exactly the credit I was hoping for but at least she was able to pry a credit from the owner for me.

Bovio Good, but not great. For the past 12 years, I have wholeheartedly supported Bovio-Rubino HVAC. I participated in a commercial, and agreed to received unannounced calls from perspective clients asking about my experience with their family owned business. They had been the only company that had services my equipment for the past 12 years, and actually installed my full home AC system, system of my brother, my mother and a dear friend. I supported them like I would family. Until the merger with Rubino, they were family owned and operated, had the local family feel, and it appeared to me, were totally dedicated to superior customer service. After all- what separates any one company from another? Customer Service Late last year (December), they came out for an annual service call, and discovered there was some substantial damage to the boiler. It was very clear to me the technician who cleaned the combustion chamber during a previous service, failed to tighten all of the bolts that secured the plate to the boiler, after cleaning, to the specified torque requirements. Hot air escaped past the gasket and melted the exterior case and ignition wire plastic casing. I talked with others, explain what occurred, and they doubted Bovio- Rubino would take responsibility for it, as it was past the warranty period. They indicated they had never heard of something like that happening, however, had seen a lot of issues caused by poor technicians. I absolutely never expected Bovio- Rubino take such a contrary position about the damage. Never. It is taken me a long time to decide to write this review of the company and what i experienced. Those who know me would never believe the support and recommendations I provided about Bovio-Rubino, would actually result in this failure to even talk to me about this. I was ready and expecting that a compromise I offered would be viewed as more than fair, and it would validate what I knew- they would go above and beyond with my expectation of their dedication to customer service. Truly- I was more than surprised, i was saddened. They had a chance to go from good to great. Unfortunately their desire to overtake Hutchinson and Horizon Services who focus on customer service, has contaminated their commitment to customer service. Bovio-Rubino is good- not great. Compare thier prices to others like Johns, but do not expect anything other than standard customer service. This is actually the promotional video I participated in- sad to see it now. He was very good and wore a mask. He even talked quietly when I mentioned my cats. He cleaned up extremely well and I would highly recommend them. I have a generator and every Monday as a test it runs for 10mins and it was really kind of him to let me know in case something goes wrong I would be aware of it.

Bovio/Rubino completed installation of new units through the NJ energy efficiency program and did an incredible job from beginning to end. The rep (Joe Patrick) was very resourceful and provided an education without hesitation and the office staff have been more than helpful.

I received a picture and synopsis of my plumber prior to his arrival—a very reassuring touch to opening my door to a stranger in a mask. His service was very professional. He explained the pricing schedule, answered all questions I had and explained the what and why of my problems. He tore down a wall, used drop cloths and cleaned up the mess. I was very impressed and would use them again.

We've contacted Bovio Heating and the conversation was going very well, we were scheduling an appointment with them and getting them to check and do the repairs on our tankless water heater, but when they knew that the service will be in Camden, they abruptly said, that they just don't come to Camden, assumed its because of the neighborhood. We would consider hiring them if they decide to come and service Camden area.

It went very well! The hot water heater died on a Friday. Bovio had their technician Steve out that afternoon. Normal service chage was $74; this was a rush, so $125 - but the $74 was deducted from the final bill. Steve was promp and professional and quickly determined the unit had to be replaced. Bovio had one in stock so he was back Saturday morning to remove the old one and install the new one. All done quickly, efficiently and with good humor. Couldn't ask for a better experience. I would ust Bovio again, no question!

Steve from Bovio plumbing installed a new toilet in our house. He arrived when he was supposed to, was very professional and he installed the toilet in a timely manner. He left our house clean and removed the old equipment. The communication from their customer service reps was excellent. I would recommend Bovio plumbing and I will use them again.

Thank goodness for Bovio! My air conditioner died right at the start of the July heat wave, and Bovio responded immediately. Even though they had to order a new motor, they tracked down a place where they could get it the next work day--while other places said it would be a week or more. They installed it right away--a very kind, friendly and helpful technician--and I'm so grateful to be in a cool comfortable home again. I highly recommend Bovio to anyone who is looking for fast, effective, friendly service at a very reasonable price.

Tech used hand-held object advised me it was capacitor needed to be replaced, both of them $500. Both replaced a/c still didn’t work. Spent a lot of time trying to figure out prob. Put all info on his computer. When through nothing resolved. Couldn’t see cost bc tech sent info to my email. He left no a/c, didn’t take back capacitors. $500+chg plus tech time they never told me abt. Tech said to wait day or 2 see if it goes on. I did & it didn’t. Called Rubino asked which way do I flip fuse box switch left/right. Female emp said I can send someone over. I did ask to do that & I live 5 mins from them. Tech came over, flipped switch charged me $238.00. 1 mo ltr next door neighbor had similar incident I didn’t know that so I asked him to Rec someone. He said, “don’t use Rubino they’re a rip off”
