We appreciate all feedback because it only helps us improve. The client was provided blueprints and plans and was notified of the work to be done. After work began, the client voiced concerns about not wanting vents in particular areas of her home. We explained they were crucial for the system to operate properly, especially in a house which previously had no ductwork. After much deliberation, we performed the job the way she wanted, though she was made aware of the fact that it was not completed in the way we preferred. The job was completed in 2011. We would never perform any work that isnt to code, as we ourselves pull permits (and file them for the clients convenience!) on every single job we install. Over the next two years, we promptly responded to 4 services, free of charge, all relating to the problems stemming from performing the job exactly as she asked. In January 2013, the client finally agreed to let us perform the job as we originally wanted to, free of charge, and the issue was resolved. We were unaware that the client was still unhappy, even receiving a recommendation from the client to her brother. We can assure you that our representatives do go through an extensive amount of training to help you select the very best system for your home. We do offer time management discounts to customers who sign on the initial visit. Upon a consultation with a productivity company, they showed us that we are better able to serve more customers if we have them sign on the initial visit, instead of coming back multiple times. By giving the most discounts on the initial visit, we are able to pass along the maximum amount of savings to you as the customer. We appreciate all feedback because it only helps us improve. After your first year, your warranty covers parts/labor, however clients are responsible for an $85 trip charge. This means no matter the problem or how long the repair, you are only charged $85. Although we have no record of service 2011, the other repairs true costs are considerably higher than the $85 that you were charged. The part needed for your A/C would have arrived in 3-5 days and would not have cost you a dime, however you insisted on overnight shipping and understood before the part was ordered that the $160 overnight shipping was optional & your responsibility. Our records indicate each issue you had was resolved, but if there is anything you are still concerned about please feel free to reach out to us and we would be happy to help.Service Provider Response
Dear Member, We appreciate all constructive feedback because it only helps us improve. While we don’t have record of you, it is possible that you called in for an estimate – which we would not track since as you stated we don’t service your model. We saved you time and money by letting you know that we do not service your model rather than driving out and charging a service call. Although we only install Rheem & Rudd, we try our best to service most other brands; However due to the availability of parts from certain manufacturers, we are unable to service all makes.
