We were looking for a way to improve the function of our home, which included replacing a 3 season porch with a larger, multipurpose room, along with a new utility room so that our washer and dryer could be moved out of our bathroom. We had gotten estimates from other contractors, but Bill was the only one willing to work with us to figure out the best way to stay on budget, while still making sure we were happy. Other companies made me feel like I was being talked to, rather than an open discussion. Bill’s plan was innovative and cost effective, while still beautiful and fulfilling all the items on my wish list. The team was extremely communicative and respectful. Going into the project, I was worried about how much our life would be disrupted, especially with two little ones under the age of 5. I was pleasantly surprised that there was little inconvenience during the entire project. I had expected to be without my washer and dryer for much longer, but they moved and hooked them up again very quickly for us. Similarly, we ended up having to replace our bathtub unexpectedly, and the team took care of it quickly, knowing it was essential for our family. They were always so friendly and kind to our two girls, who grew to love them as much as we did! I was so appreciative to have reliable and trustworthy people in our home and around my family. Any issues or concerns that came up during the project were responded to quickly. Bill and his team emphasized communication and were happy to discuss anything with us. We enjoyed working with them so much that we extended our project to include updates in both bathrooms. We are excited to have a home that functions much better now and leaves room for us to grow.

+ -1 moreMy wife and I hired All Star Contractors to convert an attached garage into living space (about 250 sq ft) and we had an outstanding experience with them. Bill managed every step of the process (design, permitting, build) honestly and fairly, with excellent communication and reasonable pricing. The end result is exactly what we had hoped for. We first reached out to the company with a general idea of what we wanted to accomplish, and our budget. Bill understood what we wanted, and made many useful suggestions to help us create a room that was both aesthetically pleasing and practical, within the budget. The building process lasted about five weeks, with daily work done entirely by two members of Bill’s team (Derek and Mike), with Bill checking in daily to monitor progress. Having the same three people in our house allowed for excellent communication, and it was obvious how dedicated they were to their craft. Any time in the evening we’d see something that concerned us, we’d raise it with them the next morning and invariably they’d show they were already ahead of us and on their way to addressing our concerns. It made us extremely comfortable knowing that the end result would be excellent. As with any project, we considered small revisions in the middle of the process. When that occurred, Bill explained up front the projected costs, allowing us to make informed decisions about what would be worth it to us. Ultimately, the project was completed with great care and minimal stress, within our budget. I would recommend Bill and All Star Contractors unhesitatingly for a large or a small project.

Bill, the owner/operator knows an amazing amount about home construction. 40+ years in the business. He was full of great suggestions, and his team delivered a beautifully constructed three-season room . You honestly can't tell that it was ever added to the existing home and the inside as well as outside is worthy of a home decorating photo layout. And pricing was well in line with other work which no doubt would have only been half as good. I can't recommend this outfit enough.

Bill and his team working at our house were professional and listened to us to execute the vision we had for the design of our basement. The craftsmanship is top notch, and look great including custom barn closet doors, a beautiful reading nook under the stairs with shelves drawers and a sitting area, crown molding, etc. We are very pleased!

We never imagined that our basement will look this good despite the small size (we live in a townhome). Every space was made functional. Bill (the contractor) is very fair, always listen and give recommendations as needed. The price is appropriate for the excellent work done. Bill's crew is very hardworking and takes pride in his work - making sure that we will be pleased and always asked if there is anything or issue that needs to be addressed. We are in the process of lining up our next project with Bill. We will definitely not settle for another company for any work we need whether it is something minor or major. He also worked with the town's bureaucracy to revise designs so that everything was approved and permitted. The final product is a very well built shed that matches my house and met my goals for the project. His crew was great and kept me informed on the progress of the project. My equipment is secure and I'm saving a lot of money that used to go to renting storage lockers. I'm very pleased with the work that was done.
Description of Work: A free standing shed was built in in my backyard to store equipment as well as personal items. It needed to be secure, safe from the elements, and the design included a covered area on the side that I can use to park a lawn tractor. It looks like a small house and matches my existing house.

I felt a level of comfort and trust with the team that allowed me to leave the house unattended while they worked. I was surprised to see that they also fixed joists in other parts of the house that they felt were in need of repair. In addition they built a closet, spackled and taped the bedroom walls. They even painted the entire room, leaving it in brand new looking condition. All of these extras came surprisingly at no additional charge. Such service speaks to a level of pride and commitment All Star has to making a job look spectacular and beyond any intended expectations. All Star finished the project ahead of schedule and within budget.
