DeLuca, when Giacomo first started in the field he had just come over from Italy he did not know how to speak english and with very little money but despite these hardships he found a job working for a friend. For 5 years he worked for his friend and made it his goal to learn the trade and learn it well. Giacomo put careful detail into every brick he laid and every stone he placed. After 5 years of working for his friend, Giacomo knew it was time to start his own company. He ran the company for 20 years by himself until his two sons decided to take over. Giacomo's sons, Frank and Michael, were around and involved in the business, ever since they were old enough to hold a trowel! They saw the extra effort and care that their father put into every job and knew that someday it will be there job to take over the company Since joining the company, they have dedicated themselves to the family's outstanding reputation and continue to deliver the same quality project there father did for over 20 years. Frank and Mike have now taken over the company and continue to operate successfully. Both Frank and Mike went to school and graduated with a degree in building trades tech.

"Dear Angies List member I have just come across your review now. I am sorry you felt that we were "OUTRAGEOUSLY expensive" If I remember correctly you called our office for an estimate. My office manager scheduled a time for the estimator to come out that would be best for you. We then sent our estimator out at the set time and date you requested. You showed him the scope of work and we quoted you on the work. At which point throughout this process did we fail to do what you asked of us as a company. We understand that not everyone goes with our service, some due to price, some do to timing others simple decide not to move forward with their project. At this point you have given me an "F'' on what bases? We did everything you asked from us as a company. You may not agree with our price but smaller jobs do have a minimum and your project happen to be a smaller job. This minimum allows us to service our clients and keep the company profitable. We have been in business for over 30 years, we feel we must be doing something right because most of our business comes from repeat clients and referrals. Your F is simply because you could not afford us, and it does not paint an accurate picture of the company or the DeLuca family's way of doing business. "We understand your frustration. We have that policy in place to help keep our overhead low so we can pass the savings on to our clients that do use us. We have found that over the years we are not competitive in some markets and decided that if we do go out there will have to be a charge to keep overhead down. We have had many serious clients pay us for an estimate because they did the research on us and want to use us because of our reputation. However I do not feel that we deserve an F 1) we responded to you, 2)We explained our policy to you in a polite manner. 3)I Frank DeLuca the owner of the business did put this policy in place to help my clients save money. As you can tell from our previous reviews this review does not reflect our work, professionalism or the way we do business. I understand your upset because you were not getting a Free estimate but if you think about it your F review has no Evidence to back it that we deserve an F. a little on the expensive side, but clearly worth it. top quality, complete professionalism, nice workers taking the time to explain what they were doing, and full cleanup afterwards leaving everything in place in exactly the same condition (and in some cases better) as before their extensive work.

We apologize for the inconvenience, but no matter how busy we get we never turn down an estimate people have been waiting 2 weeks for estimates and we have no problem scheduling estimates out as long as the client does not mind. It is unfair to be graded on our performance when we did not receive a lead according to our records.
