From the very beginning of this job, G. DeLuca & Sons went above and beyond in every aspect. Michael was so helpful with the estimate and led us in the best direction and I am so happy with the outcome. Both sets of steps took only about 4 days and every day they were always on time and so hard working. Their slogan says, "old school Masonary at its best" and they truly are the epitome of that. I highly recommend them with no reservations!

They did an excellent job. Arrived on time, replaced one level of steps on front porch, and refurbished cracked steps on two other levels. Cleaned up afterward. Very happy with the result.

DeLuca did a wonderful job.  Frank and his crew were professional and friendly, and took great pride in their work.  They were able to accommodate my request to do additional work that I had not contemplated needing at the time I got the estimate.  I am very happy with how the steps turned out and would be happy to use DeLuca again for another project.

Frank was incredibly professional. Came by for an estimate the day that I called (Friday) and provided it the following Monday, where I was waiting weeks for estimates from others. The price was reasonable. Work took a little longer to start than I would like, but once it started was done in 2 days. No trace of demo, and the work was incredibly well done. I would recommend G. DeLuca to anybody.

It was a pretty big job and it needed it done in a timely manner, which they did. They perform the job on time in an expeditious manner, high quality and highly skilled workers.  The owner was on site every day; they were neat/clean and very responsive/resourceful. I hires this company 2 summers ago to rebuild the front steps and build a brand new brick staircase at the back if the house. They did a fantastic job and both front and back look as good as two summers ago. They were professional, used the best materials, and hardworking. On the pricy side, but worth it to know the job was done right.

DeLuca's Masons Urielo and Gustavo were exceptionally professional, and did a wonderful job. We had problems with our front porch slate decking (i.e., the floor) and also the steps, since these were both flaking stone shards after the cold 2014 winter we had in NJ. In addition, two planter boxes near the steps also needed fixing: the stone toppers needed work, as well as the brick around the planters had settled. The bricks were not reset, but the topper was replaced for one planter and the topper was retained for the other. This front porch is 8' x10' x 3' high, for size information..
The railing was removed and will be reinstalled in 2 weeks (to allow for full drying of the cement), on Monday August 4th..
The porch itself was jackhammered to remove the old steps, which were moved to our backyard for use in another part of our yard. (Thank you Urielo, for doing that for us!). The porch was leveled with cement over the decking and the porch top treads were also leveled, and replaced with bluestone. Urielo is super efficient; and he removed most of the old concrete and steps. It was a job, too! The center decking section now has a non-slip surface surrounded by bluestone treads. The bluestone tread is about 2 inches thick by 8 long' by 1' wide and is quite strong/stable. By the end of the first day everything was cleaned up and the porch already looked great! Gustavo did the leveling on the porch, and did a great job on fixing the near brick planter, adding the blueslone slabs, making sure that the pavers were level, which, again, was a lot of work. Urielo worked on the second planter, which was repaired, leveled, and had the original stone toppers returned as these toppers were in good condition.
Michael De Luca visited several times to see how everything was going. I mentioned to him (as well as to Urielo and Gustavo) that the porch and steps look like they've always been there. They were perfect. I would definitely have DeLuca and Sons do masonry for us again. They did excellent work for us.

I was very happy with the work DeLuca and Sons did at my house. Frank was easy to get in contact with and would reply back to my e-mails, answering all of my questions. I've found that not many contractors work in e-mail so it was a nice surprise.
I got a few quotes for the work and DeLuca came in at a competitive amount, just about at what others were quoting me for the work. The reason why I chose DeLuca was because Frank was easy to get in contact with and I felt the most comfortable discussing the job with him. He seemed knowledgeable, had good suggestions on color scheme/shape/patterns, and like I mentioned before, was easily reachable.
The work went just as Frank told us it would. It was a 2 day job and the crew worked quickly to get the job done. The end result was a smooth and solid garage floor and a beautiful new front walkway, which has received many compliments on how nice it turned out. The job was done in October 2013 and I write this today in June 2014 and the work has held up perfectly, even with the horrendous winter we just had with the massive amount of snow received. The pavers and garage look as good as the day first installed.
I would definitely recommend DeLuca for any masonry projects you are considering.

The work was done very well and other then a delay in getting the permits, everything went very smoothly

From start to finish the experience was excellent. They came over the same week we called for an estimate and provided it within a week. Once they started the job they were done within 2 days. They were extremely professional and fast. The job was done correctly and we love both of our new walkways. They were a pleasure to deal with.

I researched several masons to remove an old walkway in front of my house and then to replace it with a new one. I received quotes from 4 companies. This was in 2011. I actually had chosen DeLuca but was concerned what was going on with the economy and told him I would get back to him. Not that the economy has improved but I decided to move forward with the project because I needed to get it done. I called Frank back and told him I was the guy he gave the estimate to a year earlier and I was ready to proceed with the project. Frank came back to my house to update the estimate and to refamiliarize himself with the project. I liked him from when I first met him and felt they would do a great job. They were very professional with the whole process and arrived punctual and completed the project in about 2 full days. Please note that I was there during the whole process supervising since I like to know what people are doing on my property. The walkway is wonderful and they matched it as best possible to what I had designed. The walkway was just concrete with no stone covering due to the wicked winters we have here in northwest NJ. There price was a bit higher than the rest but they were traveling a bit and my gut feeling was that they would do the job correct and I was right. I would not hesitate to use them again in the future for any type of concrete project. Also, when pulling up the old concrete they accidently pulled some of the finishing bricks from my stair case and fixed it on their own accord with no change in price. That was good to see.

They did a good job. They came when they said they would. They showed us everything that they were doing. We were very pleased with them. They were very accommodating. I have got lesser estimates. They weren't the cheapest though I went with them. I don't live there anymore. If they were in my area, I would probably use them again.

G. DeLuca and Sons did a great job. They had a professional crew that was courteous and polite at all times. They finished the job quickly (in about a day and a half). The job involved removing our old, crumbling front stoop and 6 sidewalk blocks. Debris removal and cleanup were meticulous. Their work looks great.

I have used this company several times. What impresses me most is the customer service and knowledge of the owner Frank Delucca. He gets involved in every project that he has completed for me and and always provides valuable insight to improve on my original plans. I have used them for 4-5 large /small projects and each time they have exceeded my expectations. Their prices are fair and he has never been over budget on the projects that he has completed for me. The operation is professional and I will use them again.

We recently had G. Deluca and Sons remove all our existing pavers and install new ones, including a new patio area and retaining wall. I am extremely happy with the end result. The pavers look great and the entire experience was painless. Frank and his brother Mike are very professional. When we started the job, my husband and I added some additional items that were not outlined in our estimate. Frank came to me to review the pricing to make sure there were "no surprises" . I greatly appreciate Frank reviewing the final cost with me right away instead of waiting until the project was done. The crew was there by 7:00am and worked well past 5. Very hard workers. The job was done very quickly. The crew would also check in with me daily to make sure I was happy with the work that was being done and if I had any changes. I received several estimates for the job. Their prices are extremely fair. I would highly recommend G. Deluca to anyone looking to install pavers.

After noticing my chimney was leaking I called my parents to see which mason contractor they had used back in July for there patio. They told me it was G. Deluca & Sons and how great they were to work with and recommended for me to call them up and explain to them my situation. I called G. Deluca & Sons, there polite receptionist transferred me directly to the owner Frank Deluca after I expressed my emergency to her. After meeting with Frank I knew he was the man for the job. I didn't check his prices due to the emergency we had but my parents did mention he was the most cost effective when they were pricing out patios. He kept his word through out the project. His guys were a pleasure to work with. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a quality job at a fair price.
