Response from Deegan Roofing Co
Deegan Roofing installed a roof for [member name removed] in June 2007. Ms Peters called our office the 2nd week of December 2014 (7 years after the completion of the roof) to say she was experiencing leakage on her rear lower kitchen roof. Mr Deegan met [member name removed] on December 17th 2014, examined the roof and noticed another contractor had performed work on the roof we originally installed. The other contractor put roofing cement over existing shingles. Mr Deegan explained this to [member name removed] and let her know even though another contractor performed work (which normally will null and void all and any workmanship warranties) that Deegan would still warranty this roof and address the issue.

Description of Work: Deegan put new shingles on my roof and also did some wood replacement about 15 years ago. I have had leakes in my roof starting the first year. Although the shingles are guaranteed for 25 years Deegan warants the roof for only 10 years. They have repaired my roof at least a dozen times and the leaks always come back within 6 - 9 months. they did come back to repair the roof up to about 12 years. Then they did not return my calls, even for an estimate to replace the wood and shingles on about 1/4 of the roof.

Description of Work: This company performs service the way every company should perform service. We needed our roof and gutters replaced. The owner conducted the job estimation. The work was scheduled quickly. Their price was competitive and they stuck to the estimate - no surprises or unmentioned add-ons. The quality of their work was superb, they were fast, courteous, efficient, wasted no time, cleaned up well and addressed every issue promptly and thoroughly. I highly recommend them.
