3/31 i called for an emergency appt for my furnace which was not working I was told that someone would come within one hour.  after waiting for hours in the cold house I  called 3 more times no on showed up.  I called again to see if someone could come in the morning.  
  4/1 The first employee showed up at 7:40 to advise me that someone else would come to look at it.   The second employee came in did a diagnostic to advise me that the  furnace had no issues and that i only needed a new thermostat - it would be $350.00 and i had to pay  $100.00 for the estimate and if i wanted the new thermostat they would deduct the $100.00 from the $350.00 cost, i called A absolute and was told that the estimate was free and they could do better than $350.00 they would replace the thermostat for $250.00 and not to give the employee the $100 without any work being done so I paid the $250.00. + $17.50 tax = $267.50
4/2 the furnace was not working again. I called and they said they would send someone out  no one showed up
4/3.  the third employee showed up and did some test and advised me that the furnace had no issues and made some type of adjustment to the thermostat and furnace was working again.
4/4 the furnace was off again. After calling 4 more times during the day (each time they told me some one would be here)  the fourth employee finally showed up at 9:15 p.m. to tell me that my furnace was no good and there was nothing he could do I should go to home depot and buy some heaters - he said "I don't know what to tell you"  he started yelling at me  about furnaces were like cars one day they work you take them for service and the next day they were broke again  He was very upset that i inquired about the  previous employees test/diagnostic he advised he could bring me a new furnace in the morning thats all he could do.  I called Aabsolute again and was told someone would come out on 4/5  by 3:00 to see what they could do  I called again  several times and was told i should go and do whatever i had to do and not to continue to wait but  someone would show up - I received a call at 10:45 and  no one ever showed up.

• Missed appointments, non responsive, 
• Lack of integrity and honesty, not efficient
• Overcharging,  broken promises, not reliable and 9 better business bureau complaints

The provider was able to arrive earlier than expected which caught us by surprise but that can't be anything but a positive in my mind. He was very thorough, explained to us our options, and performed excellent, quick work. He also minimized the mess left behind which was appreciated. The pricing of the job was a bit more than I expected, however, I didn't shop around to get an idea of what the going rates are. I will say, the provider was more than accommodating in giving us the Angie's List discount and then some. We will continue to look to A-Absolute for future plumbing needs.

In the beginning we were very unhappy for the service and cost of repair.
The owner of the company took seriously about our issue and returned our phone call right away. He also resolved our problem
on the same day even though I said he could get back to us within 2 - 3 days. I do like the way how the owner handled the issue and tried to make his customer happy.

I was very disappointed. He was here like for five seconds and charged me a ton of money and did absolutely very little. He came right away but I was disappointed with his service and his price. We weren't getting any heat in my basement apartment and my other tenants on the first floor's hot tank kept running. I would never call them again.

On Christmas, they came on an emergency basis within the window they provided to unclog a backed up sewer pipe. 
The following week on New Years day, they came again for the same emergency, also very prompt within the window they provided.  They stayed longer this time (Carlos did), literally was reaching into the pipe to pull out roots and mud underneath a bush, and determined ultimately that pipe needed to be replaced.  They happened to have the next morning free so they offered to come and replace the pipe that next day.  They showed up exactly when they said they would.  They replaced the pipe, put back the ground, explained everything to us in detail.  They answered all of our questions and came back a second time to pick up some debris and replace a cover.  We will still need to see how the ground settles and how they come back in the spring to fix anything that needs cleaning up.  Additionally, they had to cut through multiple sprinkler lines to do the work and they put them back together.  We will hopefully see that they work in the spring. 
Overall, they did exactly what they said and put effort into their service and provided good personal customer service.  We normally wouldn't have rushed into the job, but we are expecting a child and did not want to have to deal with this one the baby came.  We did some research and although it was expensive, it didn't seem like we could have saved much going somewhere else.  And we felt like they treated us with respect and cared about their work.

I called Lex the day after Christmas. Our sewer was backing up in the basement sink. He was very friendly and explained all the things it might be and the prices. He came out the same day, early in the afternoon, and was very professional and efficient. My laundry sink was full of muck on the bottom, and he explained if it didn't drain after cleaning out the sewer, he might have to snake the drain too. As it turned out, he didn't have to, and the sink cleared out after running water in it. I was able to see the water flowing like a river in the sewer drain when he was finished. I would definitely call Lex's company if i ever have any draining problems again. I would highly recommend him.

Pipe was unfrozen

When I called this company, I explained that my garbage disposal wasn't working and I would like to understand what is wrong with it. They offered me a same day "free consultation".  When the technician arrived at my home, I spoke to him on the phone since I wasn't present; he said he didn't know why he was there and it was going to cost me $750 to replace the disposal. I asked what was wrong with the disposal that led him to conclude it needed replacing and he said he needed to charge me to "touch it" and diagnose my problem. His tone was indignant and unprofessional so I thanked him for his time, he said "whatever" and hung up (whoa?!). When I called and spoke to the dispatcher, he couldn't seem to understand why I felt that if I explained that I wanted a diagnosis of my problem during the time I scheduled the appointment and was offered a consultation, I expected there to be an informed assessment of the problem. Therefore, I felt falsely advertised to not having had the diagnosis charge disclosed to me ahead of time. There was no need for me to waste my time making people available for an appointment if they were going to just give me the cost of replacing the disposal.  How unprofessional and what a waste of time! Terrible.

They were able to send a plumber last minute on a saturday, but the original plumber (Ben) arrived an hour later than he estimated and then did not have the proper equipment had to send a second person (Carlos).  Carlos was able to look quickly and determine the problem and get everything sorted in less than an hour.

Service provider, Rodney, arrived within the hour I was told by the gentleman who took my call said it would take. Introduced himself and got to work, although the repair was minor, for which I am thankful, Rodney mad sure all was corrected before sitting down to take care of the bill. The bathroom was left as he found it, clean and back together.

I would not hesitate to recommend your service or use you again in future should the need arise.

Joe was very professional and clean. Came in , was straight with me and did a wonderful job.

Previously that same day, we had a "professional" snaking company come out to clear our slow moving tub drain & sink in a small, bathroom on 2nd floor. (We have a 100 yr. old house, btw).  They started with the tub first.  I was in the basement at the time & all of a sudden, a rush of water was pouring out of the ceiling!  They quickly stopped, they had put a hole in the drainpipe!  They called their boss, who told them to leave & tell us to get a plumber!  What a disaster!  Our pipes are not even old, they are PVC!  We called A-Absolute & they sent 2 techs. within the hour.  They could have done the work the same day but we had them come back the next morning.  Fernando, their tech, did the work.  He was honest, very knowledgeable, and extremely pleasant.  I would recommend this company to anyone.

The tech properly soldered the two pipes that were leaking and did a good job of cleaning up.  While the price was high, it was the 4th of July and the tech had clearly stated the price prior to starting.  Because this was emergency service, the tech had to drive from North Jersey to Bayville (Ocean County).  They normally have local plumbers but it was the 4th of July.  While I hope not to need them on an emergency basis again, highly recommend them

Said they would be there between 11 a-noon to give free estimate.  Called at 11:15 to say they would be there within hour.  Came right within the hour.  Quoted $250, said $225 if not too much labor, took $180! And Steven replaced a ring that was leaking.

Steven was very friendly, professional and courteous!!!  Will definitely call them again(hopefully not too soon)

My bathtub in the first floor is clog. Graham did a great job.He gave me scenarios and prices as well as options to go with it. He didnt leave me until the job was well taken cared of. Definitely I will refer them and use their services again, ask for Graham, he's a real trooper.
