Fast response--called and came within an hour

Called them Friday PM: leaking hot water at kitchen shutoff. But NOT an emergency as I was able to shut off hot water at the furnace.  Returned call Sunday. Arrived Monday 8:15 as promised with a crew of three. All done by about 9:30.
Neat, clean & polite. 
Price seems extremely reasonable for all that work and parts (including a new faucet/sprayer).

He arrived when he said he would. He was neat, clean, and polite.  He clarified with me what he was supposed to be doing and got right to work. He worked quickly and finished in about an hour or maybe less.  There was no mess left over when he left. I had this company come out about 2 weeks before this for an emergency situation.  It was a different technician, but he was also really good. I would highly recommend this company and will continue to use them for my plumbing needs.

Mark was great to deal with for scheduling the work and answering my questions.  His crew was professional and friendly.  They showed up on time and did a great job on a major plumbing renovation with a minimum of mess.  I would definitely recommend them to anyone and will use them again if I need more plumbing work done.

They know what they are doing. Their quality of work is good and they are easy to make an appointment schedule with.

Perfect..Called for estimate & Mark Bertoli came & discussed what we wanted & told us/explained what he intended to do.  He made some great suggestions & also reeled me in from "going overboard" on a couple things. Within couple days emailed us estimate & detailed the job.  We were happy w/price & what was to be done so we signed & was told to call him when we ordered tile/fixtures.  Once we ordered we agreed on firm start date & Bertoli picked up everything.  Wayne Tile & Ferguson's called Bertoli directly with mostly any questions i.e. how much tile etc.  He was "dead on" w/the amount of tile to order!!!
It really was a wonderful stress-free experience.  We gave Brian our garage door opener as we both work.
We paid Bertoli half (after a few weeks on the job), he never asked for any $ upfront and we paid the balance a couple weeks after the bathroom was complete when he emailed us the final bill.

Called Bertoli on the strength of other Angies's reviews... couldn't be more pleased. Had to leave a message but got a call back in a very reasonable time. Got a 2nd call, as promised, to set the appointment for the next day (service I requested was non-emergency). The representative, Mike, showed up as promised and not only completed the requested work (system bleeding and balancing), but explained each step, cause and result in detail. Very knowledgable and extremely accommodating, cordial and effecient. I've just moved into this 81 year old house and Mike took the time to explain options and ways I could improve my heating and water systems. I will be calling Bertoli soon to follow through. Loved their service and Mike is The Man!

After going through the usual nonsense of calling plumbing companies and getting outlandish quotes from as high as  $1000.00 I left a message on Bertoli Plumbing's answering machine.  Got a call within the half hour, explained what I needed.   He wasnt sure If he could get to me today because everyone was on call.  Understandable given widespread damage from Hurricane Sandy.  Called me back, said he would have somebody by my house in half hour.  Twenty five minutes later two guys in a truck showed up.  Went downstairs assessed the problem and concluded what I already knew.  No other nonsense.  They spent the next 15 minutes on the phone locating the part, found one, left to go get it.  Came back with the part and installed the low water cutoff valve and had it working within two hours.  Guys were great, friendly and on top of what they needed to do "only".

All went well.  All work was completed successfully, in a professional manner.  Cleanup was good, not excellent.  My only complaint:  I asked for replacement of the water supply pipe with a similar pipe; the plumber did not have the correct pipe, and convinced me (against my judgement and preference, to expedite the conclusion of the episode) to allow the use of "flex pipe", something I consider inferior to actual pipe - something easier for him to install.

We had a bathtub where water leaked from the where the spout connected to the wall as well as the drain stopper no longer 'stopped'.  Mike came right on time. He was very professional and friendly.  He replaced our spout, adjusted the trip lever on the stopper and gave a the drain a quick clean out.  He was done in less than an hour and he cleaned up any mess made.  We will definitely use Bertoli Plumbing in the future. Thanks to Rockaway's hard water, we have quite a few projects that will require a plumbing professional.  I feel confident that Bertoli Plumbing will be able to handle our jobs!
