Our family jeweler retired. I found Galdo's on Angie's List so we gave them a go. What a wonderful find! And, what a wonderful group of people!
After 31 years, my bride wanted to combine her engagement ring and her her diamond surround ring into a single setting. This required a setting that could accommodate the center stone and three stones on each side. She knew exactly what she wanted.
We worked with Sarah at Galdo's and she had all the time in the world to spend with my wife while she scanned catalogs looking at new settings. While this was going on, we met everyone who worked in the store including the craftsman who did the wonderful work. Because the ring had to be ordered, they weren't able to promise it for Christmas but said they'd do their best. Surprise! One week before Christmas, they call me and said it was done.
The work was spectacular. The price was more than fair. They even bought the gold from the old settings and applied it to the purchase. It is so satisfying working with "people" instead of "companies." We always try to buy from the locally owned stores and in this case, we found a jewel (this pun was too easy).
We will, of course, continue to do business with Galdo's in the future and will make sure our friends and family know about the great people and the great craftsmanship.

They were wonderful, a family owned and operated establishment, and they immediately checked the diamond that had fallen out when I damaged the ring and reviewed the repairs needed. They were courteous, professional and caring. The ring was completed in 4 days and I received a call as promised that day to let me know. When I picked it up my wedding rings they were spectacular - exactly as when my husband gave them to me 25 years ago. The work was quite well done, I am extremely pleased, recommend them highly and I will go back again for any jewelry needs!
