 + -1 moreI have only the best of things to say. This was the main stack in the house, and all the waste water drained into it. If anything went wrong, we would not have been able to use any water including the toilets. Mr. Walker assured me that if there was any problem he would stay until it was resolved. Fortunatelly, they were in and out in a very short time.
Description of Work: Have house that was built in 1928. Main water line drain pipe had small rupture and was leaking slightly. Mr. Walker came over and put a silicon plug over the rupture until he was able to come over and complete the job. About one month later the rupture began to leak again. It was a bit difficult getting an appointment due to the time of year, but everyone I spoke with was extremely kind, courteous and helpful. He showed up exactly on time and completed the job in less than two hours. Basically he cut a section out of the old cast iron pipe (Which was in the basement and happened to be located in the bathroom.) and replaced it with pvc pipe. So far the work has been impecable and the clean up was excellent. He also checked out the rest of the plumbing in the basement. I would highly reccommend Mr. Walker and his company.

 + -1 moreI called for an estimate, and he came the next day at the agreed time. He advised me about what brand he recommended, and we discussed tankless heaters. He called me the day after with an estimate that was less than his competitors, so I told him to order the water heater. He called me when it came in and arrived promptly the next day to do the work. He and his assistant were very careful when carrying the heaters in/out and cleaned up thoroughly at the end of the job.
Description of Work: Removed old water heater and installed new one.

 + -1 moreIt took two trips to finish the work - mainly because of parts that needed to be ordered. He was friendly, courteous and didn't mind explaining what he was doing and why. The office was polite and easy to work with. He came on time and there were no unnecessary delays in time. We would definitely call them again.

 + 0 moreI have used Timothy Walker several times. When we first bought our house, it had been in foreclosure and empty for more than a year. It needed a complete over-haul of the heating system. Since the water in our town is hard we had him install a water softener also. Tim is gruff but fair and relaible. we did have an issue with one of his Forman, he was rude towards my wife, I called while on travel and Tim came over cleared up the problem and finished the work. Overall I would use Tim again.
Description of Work: Installed 7 new zone valves, water softener and repaired furnace.

 + -1 moreI had exchanged messages with the plumber to set up an appointment three weeks ahead of time, for a day I planned to be home. On the day, no one arrived, so I called. The appt had not gotten into the schedule, so the woman in the office said she would do what she could to fit me in. She called an hour later to say a plumber would arrive between 12:30 and 1:00. He arrived at 12:15, and did everything I needed done, and also replaced some pieces of the toilet so everything was up to date. The repairs were professional and good quality work.

 + 0 moreI called and scheduled an appointment. They called me back the next day because an earlier time had opened up. I wasn't able to take that time slot, but due to some changes in my schedule they were still able to fit the job in a day earlier than originally planned. The plumber showed up in the time window we had scheduled. He looked at the clogged drain first - noted that the plumbing in my house was very old (which it is), and was very careful not to break anything in the process of clearing it. He fixed everything in less than an hour. The job was done right, and he left the work area spotless - no mess. In a nutshell: Good, honest work at very reasonable rates.
Description of Work: Replaced toilet shutoff , supply tube, fill valve and flapper. Cleared a clogged bathtub drain.

 + -1 moreIt took 2 trips to work out, but he didn?t charge us for the second trip. He was efficient, and he backed up his work. The first man he sent didn?t do it properly, but when we complained he personally came down and solved the problem. His price was a little expensive. He responded to our call and basically he did a follow through, and I was happy with that.
Description of Work: We used Timothy Walker Plumbing a month and a half ago. We used him for some water pressure problems we had, and he worked it out.

I?ve never been dissatisfied with his work. He used to be very prompt when answering my calls before, but now he has gotten busier.

 + -1 moreThe plumber came on time and was completely professional. He's a clean worker and doesn't leave a trail behind. He got everything done in one hour. We couldn't ask for better, and he is our plumber from now on.
Description of Work: The technician examined: 1-Slow kitchen faucet; 2-Water level too low in toilet; 3-Slow shower flow; 4-Leaky and wiggly bathroom faucet; 5-Splashy laundry room faucet; 6- Clogged bathroom sink drain. I thought we were in for major repairs. He adjusted two of the faucets and they work perfectly. He cleared the clogged drain. He cleaned the shower head. The leaky faucet can be replaced if we want, because parts of it are totally shot, but he said we should check in case we still have a warranty for it; it isn't that old.

I called the plumber's phone #, they made an appointment with us for a couple of days later (after reassuring me that there was no danger), and Mr. Walker arrived at 10:10; they had promised he would arrive between 10-1 that day. It was so nice to have the work done properly and not to have to waste an entire day at home waiting for him to arrive.
Description of Work: In the process of performing an energy audit, several small gas leaks were found in our basement. Mr. Walker verified all the leaks, then cut out and replaced all the defective sections, and again tested with his equipment to be certain all the leaks were repaired. He rechecked all the repaired leaks in my presence, and left all the removed portions of pipe to verify the pieces that had been replaced. We will surely use his company the next time we need plumbing work.

Within half an hour he had completely diagnosed the problem, removed 2 major shut off valves, and replaced washers and fittings. He was exceedingly professional, very courteous, and knew exactly what the problem was and had all of the fittings with him to complete the job. Definitely a plumber for all seasons!

Set a mutally convient time that also was quicker than anticipated. He was polite, clean and professional. He came in diagnosed the problem, had the part in his truck, made the repair, ask if he could help with anything else so I had him do a repair on a water heater. I thought his price was very fair and I gave his business card to my daughter. A+ over all rating.

 + -1 moreWe noticed a leak in front of one of our toilets. We received an estimate for $850-$1050 for the job (plus the cost of a new pedestal for the toilet) which included removal of the toilet that the plumber told us was cracked, and repiping the toilet that was improperly resting on plaster pedestal. We decided that another estimate was necessary. We called Tim who came as promised on a Saturday afternoon before a holiday, took one look at the toilet and informed us that it was not cracked, but was simply spraying water from the top. He fixed that problem and it hasn't leaked since. While he was there, he adjusted a slow to drain sink and also snaked out our tub drain. We appreciated Tim's honesty.
