The team slowed down enough upon arrival to get an additional hour added to my total, but only used 25 minutes of it. The bunkbed reassemble was a little shoddy. A little wall damage.

Worst Moving Experience Ever ? A Complete Scam business Beware of the dirty tricks used by this moving company: 1. Deliberate Delays to Increase Charges ? The movers idled and wasted time, dragging out the job to charge more by the hour. 2. Extortion for Additional Payments ? They held our furniture hostage, threatening to cancel the job on moving day and demanding extra payments before downloading furnitures 3. Absurd Excuses ? traffic cause delays, claimed we had "too many" boxes not listed in the inventory (such a joke, all quoted companies said boxes do not matter), and using the elevator for moving causing delay(WT*?); Furniture wrapping?something other moving companies all do?cost time. All the excuses they can imagine to waste more time. 4. Abusive Customer Service ? When we called the office to report the delays, they yelled at us, interrupted, do not let us speak, and even hung up. Later, we were harassed with repeated calls. 5. Poor Furniture Assembly --unstable

"We are truly sorry to hear you not completely satisfied about your move. Below is our investigation report which is based on 3 three factors: recorded calls, our tracking system installed in each of our trucks, and our electronic handheld device used by the Forman to record the move as it happened. There were no delays of any kind. Time began upon arrival at your place and begin working and finalize the bill at your delivery. You were not present for a vast majority of the labor-intensive part of the move where we wrapped, prepared, and loaded your items very quickly. Our original estimate was 8 hours, you requested 6.5 hours to match the lowest estimate you were receiving from others, and the final move charges were for only 7.5 hours, which is less then the original estimate we provided. It would be physically impossible for us to work slowly and accomplish this move in that time frame. We followed the standard procedure of closing the contract and billing with you upon arrival of the delivery. This was verbally confirmed by your rep, on the signed contract, and reconfirmed 48 hours before your move. Your bill ended up ½ half hour more then charged, which we discounted. No delay around the train effected your bill. Moving the boxes you had listed, with additional boxes and furniture, down a long carry to the elevator and up to the truck, is part of the reason the move might need more billing hours as we quoted originally. You also mention furniture wrapping, which was provided for free, but we explained it will take time to complete it. We have never had a service where the final bill and price is less then the original estimation and expected hours, and the client claims otherwise. If you believe you have unstable furniture, please return the claim form and reply to our phone calls so we can assist on this matter as well. It is our goal to have only happy clients, if you have any request for us or something we can do to rectify you not being satisfied, please reach out directly and let us know."

My recent move with Moving of America exceeded my expectations. I had to throw together a pretty large move quickly and was surprised at the professionalism and accommodations provided. Joey, my main representative, was able to come into my home within 2 days and put together an accurate quote for me. I liked how all of the confusing things were built into the price and I am really just paying the movers for their hard work and time. Last time I moved a few years ago, I used a different company, and the bill seemed to have an endless list of things I would have never thought of, and what I thought would be cheap price became a very high price. Moving of America was true to their reputation and I had no surprises on my bill. I really hope I don't need to move again soon but if I do I will 100 percent be using them again. My team leader of my moving team was Giovanny and he was super sweet and personable.

I had a very good experience with this company. They were efficient in keeping me updated through all steps of the move process. Joey and the team really take care in giving personal attention and great customer service. My only complaint is the move started much earlier in the day then I preferred, but I understand all request cant be accommodated. Still a 5 star experience overall!

First of all i dont think Angi is a good source for finding a good moving company i got a list of what i thought was 4 and 5 star movers and had direct contact with at least half of them, Moving of America is probably typical of how moving companies work all of the estimates were almost exactly the same, strange when you consider 4 of the 8 movers i contacted gave me an estimate without even coming over to look. The first thing i was told when the movers showed up was that they would probably be late getting to the new location cause their gps wasnt working, next thing that happened was the office called to see how I would be paying for the 2 or 3 extra overtime hours. It took a long time to wrap everything and load the truck things that didnt need to be wrapped and over wrapped everything to slow things down and keep that extra 2 to 3 hours overtime, finally after the truck was loaded they left before me, guess i left about 10 to 15 after them, when i got to the new location they werent there yet and i waited nearly 45 minutes for them to arrive, must have gotten lost, right? gps wasnt working and had to take a different route. While they were still working i was given the bill an final paperwork, thugh they were still working was told they would be finished at the exact time they said including overtime before they started. Why give someone a survey to fill out before the job is done, which they did no wonder they get such good reviews hard to say someone is terrible when he is standing right next to you. Use this company at your own risk in fact be careful of anything on this site, not accurate at all.

I had a great experience moving within town using Moving of America. Compared to other companies I called when I was starting to look into my move, this company was the most professional and attentive to what I needed. Since my move was coming together at the last minute, I was happy to get my quote over the phone instead of waiting for someone to visit me like they offered. We were able to set up a video chat, go through my entire home, and get a detailed offer, and do a full review of it all within an hour. The entire process was handled by Joey who was very patient and informative. Move day I had a great team; the head of the team was Kelvin. He was a nice hardworking guy, who was super reasonable and made sure to communicate with me while working and set up the new space how I wanted. The company makes a phone call the day before the move and during the move two times to keep you on the same page, but it did feel to be a bit much. Better safe than sorry, I guess. Overall, I think it went as well as possible and would recommend them!

For our last move, the group of gentlemen Herman, Robert & Yonatan that was sent by Moving of America to pack up and move me was simply excellent. They took their time in making sure that everything was properly packed, loaded and unloaded the next day. Even though I moved to a 3rd floor apartment, they were amazing and very diligent to make sure that all was delivered and undamaged. They were very pleasant and professional, and I definitely would use them again and wouldn't think twice to recommend them.

The team ( ARMANDO, JOE, HERMAN) helped me move house in January 18. They were prompt, efficient and a very careful with our possessions. There were a few changes on the day and the team adapted excellently to them. I was so impressed I decided to store some items with them for a month and then used their services to move everything to a larger storage unit. I looked at using some much larger companies as well but am very pleased with the outcome of using Moving of America.

Moving of America was fantastic. They were flexible and patient when my move date was changed more than once! The removal men were prompt, happy and friendly. They were clearly very good at their job. They went above and beyond when some furniture was too big for the new house. They thought creatively and managed to squeeze it in! I would definitely use again and recommend.
