Scott came to my home and we discussed in thorough detail everything I was looking to accomplish this summer.. which included mulching all beds , playground mulch , weekly maintenance , spring & fall cleanup. He listened , offered suggestions , took notes , and explained himself clearly. Scott was knowledgeable regarding all project items we discussed. The estimate was delivered via email the same day and it was very well organized and easy to understand each line item. Sacchitelli does something that I haven't seen other lawn maintenance companies offer and that is a year round contract where payments are made over 12 months as opposed to 8 months. That helps to reduce payments on a monthly basis but my personal preference is to make these payments over 8 months. Scott explained that they would work with me to tailor the contract to my needs. He was very flexible and responsive via text messages and phone calls. 
Overall it was a difficult decision to not go with Sacchitelli. The two primary factors were cost and the fact that they could only make weekly cuts on wednesdays. Based on respectable reviews and my brief positive encounter with Sacchitelli , I will definitely keep Sacchitelli in mind for the future.

From the first contact Peter was great to work with. His took the time to understand the job and what we wanted. Asked questions about things I hadn't thought of and gave me great confidence. His pricing was really competitive. He kept in contact with me as the date of the job grew closer to let me know of changes in schedule. His team did a great job and left the site clean. When I noticed that one of the products didn't match what had been specified in the estimate, Peter explained what happened and agreed to return, remove the the part that was wrong and replace it. He didn't even hesitate or suggest otherwise. Talk about a pro when it comes to customer service and satisfaction!

Peter was a pleasure to work with.  Communicated often via Email.  we knew when the work would be done.  Peter and his crew did an excellent job.  I would definitely use them again!

I contacted Sacchitelli Landscape to get an estimate on some hardscape work for the front yard (retaining wall and edges). Let me start by saying that their initial response was the fastest I have ever experienced on Angie's List. I got an reply for available dates for an onsite estimate with Peter within couple of hours of the initial request. Peter showed up right on time on the scheduled day, gave me the general background information about the company and their available services. He is extremely knowledgeable with strong architectural background who enjoys what he dose. I really liked the way he starts the process by making a scaled plan of the project with the most minor detail you can think of. This plan includes the individual cost of different jobs, so the entire project can be broken down to multiple segments depending on the budget. Unfortunately, his cost was significantly higher for the project I was looking for compared to other providers, so we decided against using their service. This could have been due to the size of the project. I highly recommend Sacchitelli Landscape to anyone who is looking to get any hard scape or landscape work done. I hope to be one of their satisfied customers in future.

The new grass is coming in nicely. The trimmed Holly looks great. It resembles a giant gumdrop.

The crew was sharp and on the ball. I was impressed with the deftness the excavator operator showed while pulling out the roots system of the boxwoods. There was no room for error as they were between the front porch and landscaping ties.

All the debris was cleaned up and there was virtually no sign they had an excavator in the yard.

He was responsive, listened to our needs, made great suggestions. His crew is very professional, hard working, and pays attention to the details. Once they cleaned up, you would never know it was newly created. A year later the plantings still look great, the steps had fewer ice issues last winter as promised. A true professional. We would gladly work with them again.

They are good in taking care of our lawn and the lawn of many houses in the community.  The cost is reasonable.

Pete was very professional from the first contact. His design was very detailed with description of the work, plant specs, pricing, etc. He kept us updated throughout the project. His team was very detail oriented and efficient. We couldn't be happier with how everything turned out- beautiful work.

Did not call back. Wonder what happens if something goes wrong with their work. I guess they wont call back.

Pete created a great landscape view, lots of color.  Showed up exactly when they said they would.  Completed the work as agreed.  Everything looks great, can't wait to see it in the spring!  Will continue the rest of the work in the spring when it is warmer.  Very happy with the results, would recommend for any of your landscaping needs.

Sacchitelli Landscape Concepts was the third vendor we spoke to about our project. Pete was extremely professional and responsive. The results are beautiful and we are now placing subsequent work with him.

I would highly recommend Sacchitelli Landscape without hesitation.  The overall experience was excellent – the best of everything I look for in a landscaper:  a trustworthy manager/owner, a talented working crew, quality materials, fair pricing, and a fabulous finished product.

Our yard had really become out of control – everything was overgrown and the patio was covered with weeds.  The owner, Pete, is responsive, very professional, and he has good ideas. He also listened and addressed my needs, while giving his honest opinion.  When he showed up for the estimate, he took notes and some pictures of the various areas of our yard.  He later emailed me and broke out the estimate into smaller projects so I could pick & choose and prioritize what was important.  Included in the estimate were sample pictures of his suggestions of what to plant.  He is very thorough and we found his pricing fair and reasonable. 

The Sacchitelli crew that showed up to work is very talented, and they work hard and fast!  Pete showed up early to oversee and provided the overall direction, which was nice, before he had to leave.  His team is extremely capable.  They are neat, courteous, and easy to approach.  They were meticulous in everything they did and seemed to take pride in their work.  Our yard looks so clean and neat now!  Over the last 10 years we’ve had 4 different landscapers – Sacchitelli is the one I would definitely use again.  Wish I had used them before.

Pete is very professional and just an all around nice guy. I contacted him for our work after getting a few other quotes and I knew him from my local networking group. He was always punctual for our appts and gave pricing for every item to let us decide what was best for us. He itemized the pricing for the secondary walkway option as well as for each level of the techo block stone we could choose from. The pricing was right in line with another company that we talked to but I went with Pete because I knew him and he is local in my town. We were very happy with him and his crew once they started. It was getting started which is where they fell a little short. I know we contacted them at their busiest time of year but at times there would be a week or more before he responded to my email. But he was always very apologetic and sincere in his responses. The crew was polite and nice and always arrived on time. The dry cutting of the stone is very loud but my 3 month old baby slept right through it most times so it wasn't a big deal. It did take a little longer than expected due to weather delays and running out of the stone and also they had to build around some existing cinderblock due to our house construction so that caused a little more complications for them. Overall though, the final project is to our satisfaction and exceeded our expectations.

The crew was extremely professional and efficient.  They did a wonderful job, and already the lawn is growing back looking far better than it has in years since it isn't being washed away with every rainstorm. I couldn't be happier with the results!

They did an excellent job. They were highly professional and knowledgeable, provided excellent guidance on choices (colors, materials, etc). The results were beautiful, the price was fair and competitive and the work is really top notch. We would highly recommend this company for landscaping and design. This was a great experience.

I really liked them. Peter Sacchitelli is a designer and has a degree. He's really good and has a lot of great ideas. He's a very pleasant person to work with and did a landscape design for us. He discussed it with us and what we wanted, which was not a lot of maintenance because we have a difficult property and the front doesn't get sunlight. We have a lot of water there and it's a very bad soil quality, plus we have deer. He picked out some plants for us that wouldn't be eaten or destroyed in some way and that was good. The design he did for us was nice and we modified it and decided to take out some of his suggestions and keep a lot of the others, but he wasn't upset at all and was fine with it. He's always on time and a very professional person to deal with. He's very responsive which you don't get too much with people who do landscaping and lawn maintenance. I'm very pleased with him and if I have any questions I call and he has somebody to answer the phone and to answer questions all the time which is very nice. His prices are competitive with everyone else and he also designed a deck for us a couple of years later, but we had somebody else put the deck in because he doesn't do that. He suggested some things for the backyard and we did some of them. He also had some good ideas about the deck too that were things we never thought of. He's just a very honest guy who also does charity work for non-profit organizations like children homes and things like that for free, which is why I decided to invite him over because I was having such a hard time finding someone that I liked. I saw a picture and an article about him in the paper doing charity work, so that was a plus.
