They were terrific across the board. They were prompt, efficient, cleaned up well after themselves. We had an issue that we thought might have been connected to them, they came out and checked. The issue ended up not being due to them. While they were up on the roof they fixed a few things for us without charge.

This is the second time I've gone with Carlson Brother's and it was a pleasure to deal with their company and I've recommended them to my neighbors. On both instances when I initially contacted them they responded immediately and worked out visits for estimates on my schedule and on both instances I was very comfortable with the quotations that they provided. As for the work itself, again both times the guys that came were professional and did the repair quickly without issue. All in all, they're enjoyable to work with and my go-to guys for any roofing work. I normally dread having to call a contractor but Carlson brothers have really been a delight to work with and I highly recommend them.

It was great. I called and left a message and my call was returned promptly. They sent an estimater within days and left me an estimate. The estimate included replacing the leaders and siding but I e-mailed them that I had the siding and leaders and they adjusted the quote accordingly. I signed and returned the contract and they scheduled a day to complete within a week. They were there when they said they would be. They missed one piece of siding so I called and someone was out the next day to fix it. They were very professional and easy to deal with. I would highly recommend them.

I was impressed by the thorough investigation and honesty. He offered to come back right away if the leak returns to help us determine the source and make an informed decision about the window replacement or any other necessary repairs.

The roofing took only one day. The cleanup was perfect. The gutters were installed in one morning. The whole team worked very professionally.

I call provider to day 5/28/13. Due to I want to use Them as my roofer contractor. Reason I went with Carlson Brothers was because the president of company came out to review my roof. I told contractor that I might need the entire wood replace on roof and contractors stated no I dont they can replace only what I need not to wast money. Contractor was very honnest with me. Very prossessional and new what he was talking about. On time for appointment freindly and gave me honnest quote. Very proffessional.

These folks were great! Responded to emails-kept appts for both est and repair and within time window. Yes the job was a bit pricey for 2 hrs work but employee was able to save old shingles and reuse. To not have a mismatched patch on front of house was worth every penny! To date, no evidence of any leak and all seems well. Recomended to my father in law and was just as happy with them.

The overall experience was a good one. I received a free estimate for replacing 3 shingles that had been missing after Hurricane Sandy. The people with whom I had contact were all professional, yet friendly. The only B grade I gave was that they did not keep to the original date that was given; they came the day after. I did not have to be home for the service to be done, so it was not a major inconvenience. I ended up not being home when the repairs were done, but the crew had just finished the job when I came home and I was able to pay them for their services before they left. I would use them again.

One section of my roof leaked intermittently for a period of 4 months. Then the leak got steadier and was doing rot damage. I called several roofing contractors but only two returned my call. I chose one who did alot of chaulking but the leak persisted. The second contractor did more chaulking, but the leak persisted; he said he would have to replace the entire 15x22 section in order to find the leak. The roof section was also close to twenty years old and "needed" to be replaced. He would call me with an estimate. He NEVER called. I chose Carlson Bros. Roofing from Angies list. Ron Carlson came by in two days and used an infrared detector camera and quickly spotted exactly where the roof was leaking. He quoted a price to repair the leak, as well as a price to epair the leak and resurface the entire section of roof. This section is sun exposed at least 10-12 hours/day. It did look pretty bad. I had him resurface the roof. He was here on time and did the roof in a timely manner and cleaned up thoroughly. He provided a detailed invoice. Totally professional...imagine, an infrared camera. No one else had that.

Prompt response to inquiry regarding estimate. Estimate beat out 2 other companies. Prompt scheduling of work & finished in approximately an hour. It's been 3 weeks with some torrential rain on some days and no problems whatsoever. Very pleased with overall experience.

A few months after hurricane Sandy, the roof in one of my upstairs roof developed a bubble. I called Carlson Brothers after searching Angie's list. I was given an appointment with the owner the next day. He showed up on time, was very professional and nice, and was quite thorough. He determined it was just a few tiles that must have come off during Sandy. They were rather hidden from the street, which is why we hadn't noticed. Our roof was in good enough condition that it took a large snow storm followed by a rain storm before it actually leaked. The next day another employee came out and fixed the roof. He was also professional, polite, and timely. I will continue to use Carlson Bothers for any roofing needs I have!

They came very quickly. They were here and did the job. There was a minor problem and I called them to come back out. They came the next day and addressed the problem. They were very professional. I will be using them in the future and they are coming out for another estimate in the summer.

Everything was completed on schedule and exactly as promised. The workers were polite and professional and cleaned up everything when they were done. The new shingles look perfect and with a lifetime warranty we should never have to replace the roof again. I highly recommend Carlson Bros.

The installation went very well. We are extremely pleased.

Carlson was very prompt in coming to provide an estimate. Once the initial estimate appointment was set, Doug Carlson came exactly on time. The estimate was provided quickly and any questions were handled. The price of the job was competitive with other estimates received. Even though storm Sandy occurred a week before the work was to begin, Carlson began the job right on time. The work crews were prompt and the job was completed in two or three days. The clean up from all of the refuse was spot on, and the crew completely raked out all of the planting beds. Overall a very professional job.

The contractor came at the appointed time, and made an estimate of the work to be done, showing us where the problem was. There was no attempt to try to get us to replace the roof, and or do anything more than what was needed. Just a straight, honest and reasonable estimate for fixing the roof so it wouldn't leak. The workman who was to do the repair came on time, did the work, cleaned up afterwards, and charged precisely the amount of the estimate. We have had several rainstorms since the repair, and the roof no longer leaks. Simple, straightforward and quality experience. I would definitely hire them again and recommend them to friends.

The work was performed professionally. I can't even see where repairs were done on the roof (front and hidden) and the work was finished quickly. I was told they also performed the gutter work which was not the case (third party) and a little disappointing. The sub got here late but he did the work professionally and quickly.

Carlson Bros have arrived on time on the scheduled date. He evaluated the cause of the damage and gave me estimate on the spot for the repair. The price was affordable and justified. Carlson Bros has fixed my roof leak on Monday without being present. They are trustworthy and professional. I would recommend them for all repairs that would be needed. I will select them if we would need a new roof.

As a result of hurricane Sandy I had a large piece of a hundred foot white pine hit my roof breaking the plywood,multiple rafters,and piercing the ceiling in my bedroom. I called Carlson roofing,the owner came and gave me an estimate,which I agreed to. I opted for the top of the line shingles. They came when promised on time ready to work. It took twelve hours,they fixed it all,the rafters were repaired from the outside after the plywood was removed..The next day the dumpster was removed from my driveway,and two days later their sub contractor came and did a very nice job with the leaders & gutters. Everybody was very professional,and polite. The cleanup was done to my satisfaction & the roof looks beautiful..They gave me a 5% discount for paying up front which I thought was worth it,based on their reputation and my impression of them...I would recommend them to anyone.

The roof was completed at a time when the weather was extremely unpredictable. Carlson was trying to find at least 2 days in a row where the weather would be above 32 degrees fahrenheit and not raining or snowing. It went for weeks. Finally, there appeared to be a few days of good weather in March. However, on the third day there was threat of snow. The job was not complete by that time. However, Carlson assured us that there would be no exposed section of the roof. In fact, the way Carlson works is they only do a section of the roof at a time. So it is true there is no exposed roof. So the roof was completed in a week, and I walked around the roof with Carlson at the end of the job in the second week. Everything worked out including the repair of the hole in my roof.

We had a piece of siding that was coming down. Not a big job, so I wasn't sure if they would even call back. The job was done the day after they came to do estimate. There was no invoice in my mailbox, so I called them. Only charged $20 to do it. We were very pleased!

I decided to email them regarding a price estimate instead of calling, leaving my contact information and what service I needed. I got a call back in about 2-3 minutes after sending the email and scheduled the price estimate for the next day. I got a time frame of 10am-12pm and Ron arrived at exactly 10am! He looked at what needs to be done and since the weather was getting worse suggested that I call as soon as it clears up. I called in the next week and left a message, got a very quick call back (again) and scheduled the job for the same week. Ron arrived when I wasn't at home, did the job perfectly and left a receipt in my mail box. I am very pleased with the punctuality, straight-to-the-point attitude the company has and the quality of their work.

They were great. We had another roofer work on our leaky roof and guarantee the work. When we had the leak again we couldn't get them to come back out. Ron Carlson came out right away, found the problem and fixed it a few days later. The best part was that he told me to let it rain twice before I paid him so that I would be confident that the roof was fixed properly. It was fixed properly and we haven't had an issue since. I would recommend them!!
