It was a cold and wintry March day when I wanted my windows to sparkle, and although snow and a sick workman interfered, Jeff was good to his word and had my house sparkling for her photo shoot. Jeff assured me that, no matter what the temperature, his crew could do my enormous Queen Anne Victorian (62 windows) in a half day. He recommended removal of the screens to make the house look beautiful, and it was a great suggestion. We have original windows on the front, and they are 129 years old. The crew was thorough and gentle, and I was thrilled with the job. We cleaned the interior windows ourselves to stay within budget and simplify the prep, but Gem's crew did "in and out" for the kitchen skylight and five basement windows, as well as a few that the crew must have felt demanded their touch. I can't say enough for their good work and positive attitude, given that the weather was frigid, they were pulled to fill in for another crew, and I wanted all the screens to be labeled (I followed him and labeled them myself). I wish I had found them years ago, before selling the house, which sold in two days :-) And yes, they even honored an Angie's List coupon!

Starting with my estimate and throughout the job GEM was organized and communicated every step of the way. Looking forward to adding additional services this Spring.

Unfortunately I never found out how well they do the work, since I couldn't get a commitment on the date. They offered to schedule me in and then I wait until they become available. When I asked if we're talking days or weeks, couldn't even get an answer to that. For all I know it could take months. In today's environment who operates like that?

They were not able to fix the blockage but they did clean the gutters. I guess I misunderstood the service the provided. They don't do any repairs but will attempt to unclog the drain using a hose only. So the reason for my rating is because I wasnt clear on the limits of their service. I just unclogged the drain myself by taking apart the drain and clearing it.

Their price was higher than they advertised.

The men showed up at the time agreed to. We had cleared a path to all windows except one (we could not move a desk). One man worked inside and washed all the windows. He helped my husband move the desk so that the remaining window could be cleaned and then moved it back to its usual position. In the mean time, the man outside cleaned the outside of all the windows and cleaned all the screens. They were done in about an hour and all the glass was sparkling clean. They were neat, they were polite and they were professional. I will definitely hire them again. I had received an estimate of the cost over the phone based on my description of the windows and the total cost was within that estimate.

Quick and easy, they are coming back this year in a couple of weeks.

Provider came to give estimate on 30 windows for $299 Angie's list deal. Very pleasant estimator, but worked quite h****** getting me to re-do driveway and clean roof.  (Roof actually needed it). I rejected both offers.
I recommend that one read small print of deal very carefully; the count of windows and screens and sliders etc. is something you can't do easily on your own. Didn't realize he didn't include garage windows in estimate.  At any rate, price ended up being 450 for my three bedroom ranch home.  Their method of calculating was pretty complicated,(panelled windows, sliders, screens, storms, all a different price, and the invoice is not easy to interpret.  That having been said, they did a nice job, and were courteous and professional.  I had believed that they were local, but in fact they come from South Jersey, and workers had to drive on their own time to get to me.
