I am selling my house. The buyer's inspector noted a problem with one of our garage doors not stopping when hitting an object. I called Precision Door this morning and explained what I needed. Since I live out-of-state, I explained that I could be on the phone while the tech was at my house. They were able to schedule me for the same day. They were fantastic with keeping me informed on when the tech would arrive at my house. Luke (the tech) called me when he got to my house and we discussed my problem. Before he called me back, I had the estimate via email for work with several options. He called me, we discussed the options, and he carried out the work. Shortly after the work was completed, I received the invoice for the work. If we still lived in NY, I would call them again for any additional work.

Tim was very friendly and did a great job in a reasonable amount of time. He was careful to explain all the issues and options in detail.

Service is OK but **** EXPENSIVE! One of my doors was not closing all the way down. I confirmed there is proper power and sensors are working fine before calling the company. It was my my experience with this company. Tim, the tech showed up up withing the work window given by the company. He did a few troubleshooting steps and determined that the circuit board had gone wrong. He said he is carrying circuit boards for other companies in his truck but not for mine. I didn't want to drag this along and asked him to replace the whole unit. They have a weird billing policy. Usually companies charge for the visit only, if you dont use their services. If you use their services, they waive off their service call fee. But they changed me both the service AND the service call charge. So, for a $200 (or less) garage opener, I ended up paying $370 for the service alone. Not using them again. Do not use this company, go somewhere else.

Perfect installation. Professional installers on time and knowledgeable. Latest bells and whistles with wi-fi monitoring and open with cell phone.

Joshua was excellent!! We couldn't get our garage door to close all the way. He did a lot of troubleshooting and at first tried replacing the springs because they weren't supporting the door. He then took apart the motor and found a bunch of broken parts. He realized that the motor had been doing all the work for quite some time and it had finally given out. As a last resort, we had to have it replaced. I felt very confident that he knew what he was doing and trusted his advice. He was thorough, knowledgeable, and so pleasant to work with. I would recommend them to anyone, and in fact I already have!

Everyone was very courteous and professional. However, we did not go with them in the end as their price was DOUBLE their local competitor. We had to pay a fee for the estimate.

Very well. Setting up appointment was easy. They called about an hour before to let me know an approximate time and the. Called again about 20 minutes before they came. They were professional and knowledgeable. Made suggestions for other improvements.

The technicians were punctual and knew what the problem was in 3 minutes. The job itself was very efficiently done. They lubricated the existing overhead springs and didn't mention anything like we need a new one.

Excellent. When made appointment was told that Brian would do the service and received email showing a photo so I knew who to expect. He called me to give an update on when to expect within time range given and then called once again when on his way. Brian arrived with a trainee, Luigi, and was able to describe what had to be done, did the work efficiently and cleaned up afterwards.

OK.. end price much higher than expected

Five stars are not enough to describe how great Brian was. I called on Monday am and he was at my house later in the day. He assessed the situation and advised on the best option (replacement) as our system was older than he was. He came back the next day and replaced the units in under two hours. When he completed the work, he reviewed with me how to use the units and made sure the place was clean. I can only say that Brian has an incredible work ethic and manner (definitely clone worthy).
