I called at around 10am and was told I can get service that day between 12 and 3 and I would receive a call prior to arrival. Sure enough, I received a call and Keon showed up shortly after. Very thorogh and professional. Keon could not find any issue and checked everything. He assured us the leak should not occur again and it could have been due to a jam. Also very neat and explained to my wife and I that if this issue occurs again within 30 days, he will come back free of charge. Will have to see what happens, but all in all, a good experience and was only charged for the service call and I dont feel robbed even though no service was performed. Will use again if any issues occur.

Owner is amazing.  He made sure to fit us into his schedule right away and worked hard to get our 2 miele dishwashers working again even thought the parts he received were broken when shipped from Miele.  He takes pride in his work and knows appliances inside and out.  Even uses mat and booties so as not to mess up the house

I needed a new seal for my washer because mine had a hole in it.
When I called Mr. Appliance, I inquired about the cost of the service call.  I was quoted a price of $144.45 (that includes  tax) plus the cost of the part.   I had already been given a quote from another company for a flat fee of $160, plus the cost of the part.  Since Mr. Appliance?s price was lower, I made the appointment with them.
 I told them that I needed a new seal for my washer because mine had a hole in it.  I asked if the service person would bring the
part out with him.  I was told no, that the person has to come out and look at the machine.
When the service person came out, he looked at the machine and concurred that I needed a new seal. He used his computer to check the cost of the part, which was $85.  He then said that if I wanted the repair, it would cost $294.47 plus tax.
I was shocked!  I would never had made the appointment with Mr. Appliance if I had known the cost would be any more than the flat rate of $160 that I got from the other company.  When I explained this to the servce person, he called the office and the only thing they were willing to do was give me the member rate of $260.  He charged me $144.45 for doing absolutely nothing but giving me a higher price.  When I think about it, the office could have given me an estimated price at the time I set up the appointment, using the exact computer program the service person used.  That would have been the right thing to do, and then I could have made an informed consumer decision.
I am a senior citizen on a fixed income and I cannot afford to be ripped off like this.
DO NOT USE MR. APPLIANCE!

They didn't do the job. I would not recommend them. They came out, said they could fix it, and charged us for the call, and said that it is fixed, and it wasn't fixed. We called them back, and they said they don't know how to fix it.

Very efficiently repaired machine, provided estimate in advance --due to a holiday many places not open so I had the repairman proceed.

For the future, beside asking about the service fee I would also ask about the labor charge and be able to make comparisons using that as a criteria.

The part cost around $50 and the labor was around $200.  I feel that the charge for labor was way out of line for a 15-30 minute job. I called the repair service on the following Monday to get a breakdown on the job since this was not detailed on the receipt.  Although the repairman was very pleasant, knowledgable and quickly repaired the washer, I don't think that I would use this service again nor would I recommend it to friends.

Parts were on back order from the supplier and Mr. Appliance continually followed up and kept us advised of the status. When the parts were received by Mr. Appliance, they promptly made an appointment with us and installed the parts.

Mr.Appliance staff were courteous and professional throughout the entire process. I would recommend them without hesitation and will use them in the future

My mother-in-law's washer stopped working. Of course it is never good time for any applicance to breakdown but for an elderly woman, this type of problem can sometimes be amplified. When the service guy came to her door, he made sure he clearly identified himself so that he did not frighten her (I told him that she was an elderly woman).  She told me that when he entered the apartment that he put shoe covers over his work shoes which thrilled her and that he was a very nice gentleman.  She said that he was especially willing to explain the problem with the washer so that she understood completely and that he would be able to have the washer repaired rather quickly. He was able to fix the washer that same day.
For me what I was impressed with, was when I called Mr. Appliance was that there was a "live" person answering the phone.  A very courteous woman took down all my information assessed my needs and then forwarded me to the technician who quickly set up an appointment (which I was surprised that he arrived quite close to the time he stated he would arrive).
All-in-all, a great experience!

What a pleasure to deal with!!!!  My washing machine the evening before, and at 9AM this morning I was on Angie's List looking for a repair service.  Called Mr. Appliance (who had an A rating) at 9:15 and had an appointment same day.  Carol, at the office, gave me a 12 - 3pm window, and said the repair person would call me 30 minutes out.  The repairperson called me at 10:45 and said he was available then and could be at my home by 11:30.  I explained my son would be at the house, but had to leave by 1:30 for a college class, but I could come home if needed.  The problem was diagnosed in an hour, and repaired 20 minutes later.  I am amazed!  I've never had any kind of repair like this go this smoothly.  AND they honored the $20 coupon for being an Angie's List customer.  I will recommend them to everyone who needs a repair like this.

My Dacor range stopped working and I called Mr. Appliance.  Carol, who
sets up the appointments, was very courteous and helpful. When the oven
shut off and stopped working, the fan  would not shut off and she said
she would get in touch with a tech and call me back, which she did,
within 5 minutes.
The tech called before he came and was on time. He was very neat and
also courteous. He determined the problem, which was a relay that was
stuck shut and the digital control panel.The tech said the office would
get back to me within a 1 to 2 days with an estimate, which they did.
 Because my range is almost 10 years old, I decided that the cost to
repair was not worth it since it would almost be $1000 and I don't know
if something else might break.
I thought the charge for the service call was on the high side,
approximately $150. However, had I done the repair, the service charge
would have been credited towards the repair bill.

Owner refused to install hinges on oven because I bought them directly from the manufacturer. He insisted on buying them himself and, presumably, charging me his markup. I won't be using them.

"Sir, I think you have the wrong company. We were never contacted by you. In any case, I have to respond to your complaint. It is true we do not install customer supplied parts. The reason is not because we want to mark them up. The reason is we offer a warranty on all our repairs and can not guarantee parts we did not purchase. I would think whatever company you spoke to would have explained this to you."
