Miguel was an absolute pleasure to work with on my project!I had a complicated patio design which required the removal of two massive tree stumps, the addition of a new drainage system to handle storm water that was creating problems with my foundation, footings for a new Gazebo, and regrading of my backyard to help with the design. Miguel visited my property 3 times to give me ideas/recommendations on how to fix my water issues with the patio design I was looking for. I could immediately tell Miguel was a true professional at what he does and truly cares about doing the best job for his customers. No other contractor spent the amount of time to think through the options and this helped me feel comfortable knowing Miguel and his team were going to take the time to do it right. When you are making big investments on your property, you want someone you can trust and who's going to stand by their work and Miguel did just that. He always returned my phone calls, followed through on details we discussed, kept me updated and addressed any concerns I had along the way, and completed the job on time and was very fair with his pricing. I cannot speak any more highly of Miguel and his team and will be using his team going forward and recommending him to family & friends.

Miguel is a true professional. Highly recommend for paver installation projects. My first time using angi’s list and Miguel did not disappoint. Courteous and patient with every question, and I’ve asked a ton of questions before, during, and after. Super glad i chose Miguel and Cambridge pavers.

What is amazing about this owner, he saw that my brick front porch also needed to be repointed. His workers matched the color perfectly and repointed the areas like new. This is the most professional and detailed oriented contractor I have ever dealt with. They showed up when they said they would, worked hard all day long and were extremely professional. They were meticulous about every aspect of the work that they performed. They took care of the little things that often get overlooked. They cleaned up their work space every day when they were done. I willnever user another contractor again for this type of work.

Miguel and Fred work was extremely professional from start of job to the end. What an awesome job!!! I would recommend them to anyone and would use them again and again.

They were extremely nice and very punctual. They started working at 8 am sharp and did not leave till about 5pm. They were working nonstop and the only break they took was a lunch break and a snack break. The price for the job was very reasonable. They made sure to clean the area they were working on once they finished. I had hired them around the Thanksgiving season and to my surprise, they were even working the full day on Thanksgiving. I would very much hire them again because I know my job will be done correctly and with a reasonable price.

Part of my back Yard was flood and they looked for the solution they did an excellent job on my patio in a short time. Also, They filled in with soil and put grass seed. I loved it. I recommend them.

Miguel and his crew did an amazing job on our backyard patio. Miguel was very responsive to all my texts/calls. He made multiple trips to my home prior to the project in order to finalize the exact set up we wanted. His crew was hard working, punctual, and worked efficient in order to complete the project in just over 1 week. I would hire again and recommend.

They were quick and efficient. I would hire them again in a heartbeat. They did fence and patio and the price was great . I wish they did a lot of other things. Extremely professional!

I waited a couple months to write this review specifically because i wanted to see how my patio held up after getting such an amazing price. I've dealt with many contractors before and Miguel and Amaya Construction are fantastic. They answered my phone calls, they texted back right away and really do whatever they can to help and get you what you want. They came on time every day, they cleaned up really well and the end result was a fantastic looking Patio and Firepit for a price i could not find anywhere else.

Excellent!! The project took a total of 5 days (not including time for the paver manufacturer to get the pavers in stock). Mr. Amaya spent most of the time getting the foundation right. He put in two layers of crushed stone, the lower layer was of large stones, and the upper layer was fine-crushed stone. He spent an entire day getting the upper foundation just right. The pavers speak for themselves. He put in 22 concentric rings, and every block was precisely placed. Lastly, I was impressed by his honesty. When I gave him his final payment, he told me I overpaid by $300, and gave the money back.
