On time and on budget

I contacted Planet Home Tech after finding water damage around a window. The owner of the company was quick to respond and very courteous. After inspection, it was determined that leak was coming from roof. Approximate 6X6 foot area of roof needed replacing but only a 12X12 inch area of drywall needed to be cut in drywall of ceiling instead of the entire window area. While repairing the roof it was discovered that incorrect nails had been used and owner promised inspection of entire roof. This was never done despite contacting the owner. The roof was fixed but shingles did not come close to matching even allowing for weathering. The repair is obvious 1.5 years later. I gave him a brochure from the original shingles so he knew what brand to buy. The repair inside was minor and easliy done. It was done well and primed. However I was charged 3490. The contract was for much more inside repair than was needed. Even adding the extra for the roof, this was a very high price. Further he only came to the house to collect second half of payment and work was not complete. Both checks were deposited within a couple of hours as if I was dishonest. I am not. I would not use this company again.

I'm sorry it took me so long living with the problem I had, because once Planet Home Tech made an assessment of the problem, Mr. Murphy was on it with a Quickness!! His crew was Very Quick, Clean and Professional!! It doesn't even look like my home was ever disturbed (to fix the leak) I've got PHT on my speed dial, and would recommend them to anyone who needs professional work done to their home. Installed new back door after discovering a lot of water damage on the old frame. Decent job. They had to remove a piece of the floor which we never got back so that is not ideal.

After the job was completed, the company continued to field our phone calls and e-mails until all of our questions and concerns were answered. We were so satisfied with this company, that we hired them to take care of another home that was experiencing termites.

They responded promptly once my request went through HomeAdvisor. I was a little delayed in responding back but they called me twice to check in to see if I wanted to schedule an appointment. Once I scheduled, they showed up when scheduled and did a very good job in locating and repairing my water leak issue in the attic and in the basement. They did a very good job and will likely use them for future projects if needed

The company owner was prompt to answer and prompt to inspect and then apply the pesticides needed. I initially thought the price was high but as they specialize only in wood damaging insects and provide insurance against future damage it was not.

He is a great guy, reliable, and does great work . I certainly recommend him to anybody.

There was a lack of communication for the start date. Was told they would start one day and the contractor never called to let me know they had a emergency. I waited around and could not wait any longer they were expected around 9am.
