In a follow up visit to Alpha Veterinary Care we consulted with Dr Lewisr egarding the condition of our cat of 15 years. She helped us understand her condition in a caring thoughtful manner. We knew that we needed to put her to sleep since there was no improvement from treatment and medication prescribed the week prior. Doctor Lewis was instrumental in guiding us through this heartbreaking process. I cannot easily express our gratitude for her role in helping our family member pass into the next realm. The doctor was as interested in our feelings and condition as Figaro's. This was a unique experience for us. The way our pet and we were treated was extraordinary but not surprising given our experiences with Alpha Pet Care. A strong element of client-centric philosophy runs throughout the organization. We have always had our pet's and our needs met thoroughly and always felt they were there for us.
We left convinced that we took the correct choice and would recommend Alpha Veterinary Care to any pet owner.

Appointment was set up at 8:45am on Saturday, 10/26; I expected to wait - and I did. However, the wait wasn't too long, maybe 30 minutes. There was an older dog in front of me, and a couple had brought their young dog and 2 cats with them. So I had a regular menagerie in front of me to wait for. :-) I was soon called (or rather, my cat was :-)), and I wait into another small room, where the attendant tried to get my cat out of his carrier - she persevered, took his temperature, took the paperwork that had been provided to me, then told me the doctor would be right in after she had a look at the shots my cat would need.
About 5 minutes later, trying to deal with a squirming cat, the doctor came in (wish I could remember her name!). She gave him a quick check, pronounced him fine - he's a juvenile and has boundless energy - went back out to get the shots as well as helper who would hold onto my cat while the shots were administered.
All went very well, and my cat, Oreo, went back into the carrier very quickly! (Can't say that I blame him...I don't like getting shots either.) I picked up the rabies paperwork and the bill, and was pleasantly surprised to see that it didn't cost that much for 2 shots. The people there were all very nice, and the waiting area was very pleasant, with dog and cat paintings/pictures all around, plus a really pretty cat and dog quilt hanging up.
A very nice experience, and I will definitely be bringing Oreo back - whether he likes it or not. :-)

They are very caring people. They are very professional. I have been able to call them and actually speak with the vet on a weekend or an evening. My dog was very sick and he said that he would be in the office on Sunday and to call if I needed to come in. Their prices are a fraction of the locals. I will definitely continue to use them.

I would highly recommend them, and they do a very good job. I like that they do their own emergency services, and you don't have to pay as much for the service. Their overall prices are outrageously inexpensive.

When I've called with concerns or questions, the staff is always helpful and if my dog needs attention, they get me in to see the vet right away.
