Ralph is a top notch plumber, and I am grateful for his expertise. Also, it is wonderfully reassuring to engage a expert like Ralph who is honest and of good character. I thought I needed more than just a sump pump, but he firmly advised me that anything more was an unnecessary expense. Nice to know that Ralph is on your side!! A first rate professional!!

Ralph and his assistant Peter are our go-to for all of our plumbing needs. We have an older home with older pipes and fittings and they have fixed or replaced our toilets, faucets, bathtub, pipes, values, etc. You name it, they've touched it. Ralph discusses all options, explains the problem and potential solutions, and brings decisions to the homeowner to make (most plumbers and contractors that I have worked with before will make the decision and not let you know about it). Ralph shows up on time, is reasonably priced, and always picks up the phone (and responds to texts, which is a big plus for me). He doesn't shy away from difficult problems and can even recommend contractors for other types of work that need to be done. Ralph is the best for emergencies as well; he talks through problems over the phone and shows up in a reasonable amount of time. Highly recommended!

Ralph and Pete came in and fixed it in a very professional manner. Also Ralph pointed it that the shower bath might contain mole and might e covered by my house insurance and it sure it covered . I thank him for giving me all the advice that I didn’t know. Luis

Excellent Ralph is very up front of the work needed and the cost. He sticks to the price given at the time of consult. He follows up via phone or text. Ralph and his team (Peter) are punctual and do great work. They leave everything clean on their way out. Happy to do business with Ralph. We have a few more projects in the works. It took a long time to fixed. He wasn't prompt on his pricing. He di not give me a receipt. The pricing was very high. And he seems like he was looking for other repair when he was there.

I called Ralph on Sunday as pipe broke under kitchen sink. I sent him video of the problem and we set appointment for Monday as he was able to squeeze me in on short notice. Ralph and his assistant, Peter came and Ralph gave me an estimate of the job. I said go ahead. Ralph and Peter did the following: Removed and replace drain waste line, dishwasher tail piece and new stainless steel basket strainer, new nuts and washer for connections. They ran water multiple times to test the system. Ralph was not happy with one of the connections, even though no water was leaking. He just did not feel right about it as if it was his own home and replaced the connection again. It's nice to see someone who takes so much pride in his work and will not finish the job until he is satisfied that it was done right. Will definitely hire again.

Three p.m. on Sunday afternoon and my wife and I realize there's water on the floor of the laundry room. The hot water heater's pressure relief overflow tube is leaking steadily (about a quart every few minutes). I go to Angi.com and find Ralph Maresca Plumbing in Paramus and call. Ralph is friendly and helpful. It's a Sunday and he had to check to see if he had the valve he'd need on hand; he called me back quickly and said he could help us. Ralph is friendly as well as professional. He informed us that we need to install an expansion tank to ensure we don't have this issue again and we will do that this June. I added Ralph Maresca to my phone so I know who to call next time I need a plumber. Recommended without any reservations.

Smooth as silk

Ralph came the day after we called because he knew that we needed immediate attention. He was kind enough to come right away. He analyzed the situation immediately after he arrived. He repaired the problems. He was professional, personable and efficient. His assistant Pete was also excellent. If you ever have a problem and need expert analysis and attention, you cannot get any better than Ralph. On top of that he was very fair in his pricing.

Called Ralph to replace a 20 year old toilet that was regularly getting clogged. He suggested a reasonably priced toilet that had a more vigorous flushing mechanism. He squeezed me in for appointment since I told him I had guests staying over shortly and and did not want any embarrassing toilet incidents. Ralph and his assistant Peter were very careful, knowledgeable , and neat during the entire removal and installation of new toilet. His pricing was very fair. Would certainly call him in the future.

Ralph called me and I described the situation. Ralph said he would call me back in 10 minutes. I never heard from Ralph again. Very unprofessional. Edit: Adding to my previous review, Ralph did try to call me back. There was a mix up on area codes, Ralph was trying to call back a (201) area code phone number, but my phone number begins with a (601) area code. Ralph called me today at the (601) number and profusely apologized for the confusion. I cannot remove my prior bad review, hopefully this positive review will help set the record straight.

The bowl in our 1st floor bathroom was not functioning correctly and it was difficult for me to correct the problem. So, I Iogged onto Angie and searched for plumbers in our zip code area (I prefer working with local contractors). After reviewing a few I decided to call Ralph Maresca in Paramus. He promptly returned my call & asked what the problem was; and after discussing the issue we scheduled a date & time when he could come to our house. He arrived on time and was able to fix the toilet and explained exactly what he was doing. Ralph and Peter were very polite, pleasant and professional and I would hire them again.

GAS LINE RECONFIGURATION – NEW STOVE The reconfiguration of the gas line behind the new stove went very well. I was present during the entire process. Ralph and his assistant Peter were direct, on-time, and very knowledgeable with this type of work that requires a high level of skill and experience. Ralph is the President of the company and communicates thoroughly with his clients. He involves the homeowner throughout the process to ascertain that things are being done to their satisfaction and ensures that the customer is informed and understands the reason and efficacy of the safety procedures he is performing. I recommended Ralph’s company to our management company as a result of the high quality of their work and customer service.

The repair went well. Within minutes of requesting quotes through Angi's list, Ralph called me and scheduled an appointment right away. Ralph called when in route to let me know what time to expect him. Ralph and Peter were super pleasant and immediately got to work to repair the issue with the gas pipe and valve. Ralph explained to me what needed to be done and he and Peter got the job done quickly and efficiently. I plan to recommend Ralph and Peter to all my real estate clients, knowing my clients will be happy with their service!

Knowledgeable, professional and courteous. Ralph (Master Licensed Plumber) and Peter (assistant plumber) fixed a PSEG Red Ticket issue (dirty gas burners were replaced with new ones)). Work was performed well explaining what was being done as they went along and clean up was very good.

Great work from Ralph and Peter and now the powder room smells terrific. I live in a high rise and had to wait until they could schedule a building water shutdown, but Ralph coordinated everything and even found an issue that could have caused a plumbing emergency when they were finishing up their work. Highly recommended.

Ralph and his assistant Peter were great. Ralph was easy to get on the phone to discuss the issues and set up the appointment, and then arrived exactly when he said he would, so no waiting around all day. It was obvious that they knew exactly what they were doing, and easily and plainly explained what the issues were and what they were doing to fix them, and even showed me a few tricks of the trade. If and when future plumbing problems arise I will definitely call on Ralph again.

Ralph and his associate Peter were great: knowledgeable and professional. My issue was a leaking toilet. They worked me into their schedule, and arrived the day after I spoke with them to fix it. Immediately diagnosed the problem, and repaired it. Cleaned up before they left. I will be using them to replace a hot water heater as well.

Ralph and helper Peter arrived on time, went right to work, highly skilled, kept area neat and cleaned up fully after finishing, improved work done by previous plumber, also did two unrelated plumbing repairs for washing machine and a hot water line. Dealt with 1955-built house conditions, first rate results. Very happy with heater, work performance, cleanup, and price. Old heater pickup done separately.

Ralph and Peter showed up on time - completed the work efficiently and cleaned up very well. The work was excellent and done at a reasonable price. I was so pleased I scheduled them to come back and do another project.

Ralph and Peter did an amazing job!!! They were very professional, followed COVID safety protocols, cleaned up after themselves, and performed excellent craftsmanship. They took the time to explain in words we could understand what the issues were and how they would fix them. They even connected us with other contractors when they found mold growing behind the walls and determined it was a serious issue beyond their scope of work that needed to be resolved immediately. Absolutely outstanding work and will definitely hire again for assistance with plumbing repairs and remodeling!
