EcoSystems Custom Lawn Sprinklers

Horrible company and service ever. They barely call back and they have so many processes work never gets done. We had our sprinkler system opened this year with 2 leaks found. It took 4 phone calls to get an estimate to fix the leak in 2 zones and we are on now 3 calls to get it scheduled for them to come back out and fix the leaks. 3 weeks later I still have 2 zones suspended with no scheduled day for them to come back. That’s just to fix a leak I then asked after 2 seasons of me asking to have someone come out to add a zone to cover our garden beds so a sales person comes and tells me I need a more experienced sales person to look at my system to provide an estimate that is now 5 days ago and I never heard any feedback on sending another sales person here. Don’t bother with this company, we will be using someone else going forward. I will also be sure to share with other households that we are friends with and related to our poor experience to let them know we should look for another company as I know they have experienced similar issues

DEPLORABLE LEVEL OF SERVICE!!!! Filing a complaint with Consumer Affairs. I am a widow with young children. Ecosystems turned on my sprinkler system and told me that all was fine. A few hours later, a leak appeared. When I called immediately, I was told that no one was available to come for over a week. In the interim, my basement flooded due to the leak. Ecosystems assured me that they would handle it and left me hanging for 5 DAYS - until they denied any responsibility. The delay made things worse, and It cost me $15,000 to remediate the flooding - and likely another $15,000 to fix my basement. I am incensed - this is gross negligence. Renee Ferranti Holmdel, NJ

I would strongly recommend to not give your business to EcoSystems. I bought a silver package contract that should have granted me 10% off the work I had done. They came up with several reasons on why they would not honor the 10% even though I was told by two EcoSystem people that I would receive the discount after the work is completed. Clearly based on the criteria I was eligible. Stay clear of this company.

Got referred to use this company by major irrigation which is no longer open and wish they were. Tried to schedule an appointment on 8/23 for this morning and confirmed it after I got the email from from ecosystems when I got off the phone. The next day they call and say they can’t come when they said they could on 8/23 and ask if they can come later in the day which I couldn’t at the time so I move the appointment to Friday. I call back this morning 8/23 to see if I can move it to any time today because I was able to free up time now and they say now they’re not in my area somehow. Scheduling with them is terrible I’ll a different irrigation company.

We met, and they were very professional. Their quote was complete. Their price was the highest of the 1/2 dozen quotes I got, and that's the reason I did not use them.

Office staff was very professional. They accommodated my schedule and the tech arrived in the timeframe I was given. Tech was very nice and explained the work being done. I highly recommend them.

Not well at all. there were long delays between visits, watering schedule was not properly set and we had no confidence in the person they continued to send even though we specifically asked that someone else be sent.

They provided a design, which they reviewed with me, and a very competitive price.

Very good experience.. The system is working fine. I already had contract with them for yearly maintenance now.

With due diligence I gathered three quotes. Each quoting experience was different but all of the numbers fell pretty close. Unlike any other Ecosystems took the time to explain everything in detail and even drew it out on paper for me. I felt they where confident in their product and service and that was demonstrated in every interaction I had with them even before the deal was signed. That is why I choose them. My work schedule is completely unpredictable but Megan and Eric did their absolute best to figure it out with me. The crew showed up on time and worked hard, even though there was some light rainfall, and where all very respectful to myself as well as my home and property. Thanks to Megan, Eric, and the foreman with his crew. They where so accommodating and professional. After several bad experiences with contractors in my home over the past few years you have shown me that there are still craftsman out there that can do the right job with finesse, care and expertise.

Came out to do a standard start-up on an older system that has not been used in a while. Quality techs were efficient and professional, but clearly they are pushed to replace/repair components (heads) so they can cash in quickly with excessively marked-up parts. Had techs check back yard zones that were damaged, knowing and requesting that repairs be made before they even came. Stated they would need to come back for an estimate for some reason and was told they would reach back out to schedule after they happily took $800 for a two hour service. This is nonsense, the techs could have very easily described the needs and took pictures if an estimate was needed by someone else. I am a construction estimator, this is not rocket science. No call back for estimate so I called back myself. Scheduled an appointment which was subsequently missed on a Friday morning. Took the day off and sat home waiting for someone to show up. They use an automated system to track and schedule things and decided to never schedule me despite my phone convo confirming it. Could not get receipt until I called to request it. Avoid them, if they can't schedule properly, no automated system will ever help them. I am sorry does not make up for my lost time.....

Extremely well, as it has in the past. They're efficient and punctual. Everything could be cheaper, but they do offer preseason discounts for openings and closing, which is nice.

After service follow up is very bad. On the day of installation I was expecting a responsible person for EcoSystems will be present but the guy showed up only once and asked me how I'm making the payment (Check or Cash) and I said check for which he said I can give the check to his crew and did not show up after the installation is done to check if the work is done properly or not. The crew explained how to use the timer and they did not have any documents on how to control the sprinkler heads and they were missing the drawing of the system on the survey for which they said someone from office will email me all the documents and took the check. 2 Weeks passed and there was no email about the documents or follow up about the installation. So, called their office to find out what is going on and I was told they are still waiting for my file and finally I got my survey with sprinkler system drawing on August 9th after more than 6 weeks. This shows how much they care for the customer the only reason I chose EcoSystems even though their quote was higher than another company is they were able to install 2 weeks earlier. But, did not expect this kind of service from them after seeing all the reviews on angieslist.

This is an incredibly professional company. From the start, I felt like I was working with professionals that had a solution for my project and not the, "Well this is going to be really complicated" routine I've received from so many others. When I hear that, I know I'm about to get a gigantic price. Here is the best thing about EcoSystems, they are fast and ultra clean. I was SHOCKED that they installed everything in one day and it looked like my lawn wasn't even disturbed. They have a really solid team of people and I'll be adding to my system soon. Highly recommended group of people!

The crew were on time and finish the work as scheduled. They explain everything and also allow me to test the system with an app on my phone. Megan - the customer service person was very responsive and courteous.

This is my second review on the same topic.. I must say Brian, owner of Ecosystems takes personal care.. He came out himself to check and fixed the issue.. I was impressed with the professionalism and responsiveness with which things were taken care off even after installation unlike many where the calls are not returned..
