"Sorry for any confusion however we typically try to avoid pricing over the phone. Our licensed technican are the only ones qualified to do so. An in person estimate is standard for most companies and though the office staff has some knowledge of the equipment, prices can change according to seasons, sales, and material cost changing."

"I am sorry that you felt that the rate was not clear. It was stated in the Angie's list website that the deal was $99 for $200 worth of work and all the stipulations where there. I'm sorry if Angie's list did not word the deal so that it was completely transparent. however we did assess the job and give a fair price for the work to be completed which was agreed to, and signed off on before any work was commenced. Also before we came out to your home It was made clear with the job that was being described would not be completely satisfied with the $200 deal. I also made the offer for the technician to come out while both husband and wife were home later that day in order to have full clarity and the offer was declined. I apologize for any confusion you may have still had after all our efforts in clarification."

I appreciated that Mike used "booties" over his boots to keep my floor clean,
that he explained what he did, got my boiler running again, advised me on the LWCO part/reliability, and had an excellent price for this 1st service call.

and fixing problems that my previous HVAC contractor caused when they installed
a new boiler installed after SuperStorm Sandy [2012].
I appreciated that Mike gave me the option to buy the LWCO switch
myself since I was able to do this and save some money.
I appreciated that Mike explained the additional repairs he made and why they were needed.
Mike also used a natural cleaner when flushing the heating system, which I value since
minimizing the use of toxic materials in my home is very important to me and my family.
Mike was also responsive and flexible in making the service appointment.
He was also fair/reasonable on the charges for the unexpected additional work (beyond installing LWCO and flushing system).
