It went very well. Two guys came out and were very professional and clear about everything they were doing. They answered all of my questions and showed me the before and after. They also cleaned up behind themselves and didn't leave any debris. When I called to set up the appointment with the owner he was very professional, knowledgeable, and was able to immediately give me a quote with no strings attached. After the work was performed they also sent me a follow up email to make sure everything was ok.

Making an appointment was easy and they provided a quick and convenient time. They were polite and helpful with planning what services I would need to have the dryer working again and an overall cleaning of the air system.  Leo and Josh arrived early to the house.  WIth road work outside my house happening at the same time, Leo adjusted to best suit our needs.  Leo provided great service in a timely fashion.  The pre- and post-pictures were amazing. Overall, it was a very positive experience.

First let me start by saying that I had previously had my vents cleaned a year ago by a company I had not researched in one of those too good to be true mail coupon vouchers. Only after contacting Number 1 Cleaners do I realize what good vent cleaning service is and what knock-off service is. I am in the final stages of a kitchen renovation and I was in need of getting my vents cleaned out as a result of the dust and debris that had built up during the renovation process. The weather was also starting to get cold so I wanted to make sure my heating system would be working at optimal performance. I contacted Number 1 Cleaners on a Friday afternoon and spoke to the gentleman on the phone, which I believe is the owner. I asked him for a quote and told him what kind of service I was looking for, he gave me all the details and advised me what services (such as dryer vent cleaning or sanitizer) would be extra. I told him I would like to schedule service and would like it as soon as possible, he was able to book me the very next Tuesday at my preferred time of 4pm. Tuesday comes and about 30 minutes before my service is scheduled I get a call from the technician David advising me he is on the way and will be there at about 4pm. David and his assistant arrived shortly there after right on schedule. He goes over the service details with me and does a walk around of the house to look at all the vents. He asked me if I would like the dryer vent cleaning or the sanitizer in addition to the regular vent cleaning. I decided not to select either because I don't think the sanitizer is necessary and my dryer vent was cleaned not too long ago. At no point did David try to up sell me on any service. After our walk around David and his assistant set up their machines and boy are those machines something! One was fixed on the truck to a really big air compressor and the other was placed in the back of the house to a huge suction vacuum machine. I knew right away that the service I had done a year earlier was a total waste of money compared to this service. David and his assistant went through all the blower vents first, cleaned everything out with that very powerful compressor, also using what looked like a rubber brush to get any stuck debris and dust out. After all the blower vents he then cleaned the return vents in the same manner. After that he went downstairs to the basement and cleaned out the vents from below. All in all the service was great, David was polite and knowledgable and I got the sense that he really wanted to make sure my vents were thoroughly cleaned. His attention to detail was very good. You don't get that every day, especially with contractors. I now have a go to company for my vent cleaning needs.

Nice friendly and efficient service.  Took about three days to fully dry and the pet urine smell is still there.  The previous owners had dogs stain the carpet then my cats decided to mark their territory so the challenge of full scent removal will likely remain.

I called this morning in a panic when my engagement ring fell down the AC vent in my bedroom. After my husband unsuccessfully tried to retrieve the ring by opening up the vents in my bedroom and the basement, I logged onto Angies List and did a search for Duct Cleaners and found Number 1 Cleaners. Marc was super accommodating in getting David to come out to our home in less than 4 hours of my phone call. In less than 15 minutes, David was able to retrieve my ring. I was so thrilled that I had them clean out the ducts too. So now I can breath easier because I got my ring back and because the ducts were cleaned out and sanitized. Super Fast, Super Courteous, Super Clean, Super Affordable ... HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!!!!!

We needed our ducts cleaned in a hurry due to allergens circulating in our apartment. They came in faster than I expected, made sure to cover and protect our furniture and proceeded to clean the ducts in a professional manner.

The crew was right on time and Vince was very professional as well as friendly and diligent.  They did an excellent job, cleaned up perfectly, and even waiting 20 minutes past the end of the job for us to return from Home Depot with a new furance air filter, so he could show us how to install it properly.  a great experience across the board and I plan to use them in the future for some of their other cleaning services.

Workers were timely and professional while they were performing the service. They did a quality job but are not the cheapest provider out there. I elected to use them because of the favorable reviews on Angie's list despite the higher price.
I haven't used any of the lower cost providers so I can't compare and contrast the quality of work between them.
