Have water intrusion into my basement for the first time in over 30 years.  I was using a squeegee and a jury rigged pump that I had to manually turn on and off at all hours of the day and night. Called many companies for assistance and only ARID was willing to come out to give me an estimate.  They came out within a couple of days and gave me an estimate on the spot.  While I was not able to compare price with other companies because of the lack of response, I am satisfied that the price was worthwhile under the circumstances.  Because of the overwhelming number of jobs all companies in this field were experiencing, they were not able to do the work for over 2 months but they actually did the work on the date promised.  The work was done quickly and efficiently by a crew of very professional and polite people to my complete satisfaction.  We have had some substantial storms since the sump pumps and french drains were installed and the system is working fine.  I would and have recommended this company to others.

The crew from Arid came on time and worked hard all day. They cleaned up all the debris from the job. There is prep work to do by the homeowner before the job. Arid explained in great deal what to do before and after job was finished. Thank you Arid I am looking forward to a dry basement!

It was much more painless than I anticipated. The crew was curteous and professional. I do not have an exit in my basement so they had to walk up and out thru my living room. (ugh) I was told what to prepare for as far as dust,etc. I had placed brown paper on my rug and they also put a tarp on top of it. This must be done.!
Last week Rockland county had the heaviest rains since hurricane Floyd(which i remember my basement floating) and I had a dry basement! (yipee). it was well worth the $$ and the peace of mind that came with it . I'm so glad I used Arid!

Estimate for Basement Waterproofing: very honest person came to give estimate. It was a no pressure environment the only sticking point was that I was looking for someone to demo the basement and do the waterproofing.  Arid was only comfortable doing the waterproofing they wanted me to do the demo.  I found a waterproofing company that did the demo, waterproofing and sump with backup battery.  The Arid sales associate did try to work with me and offer me a $500 discount to have someone come in and do the demo. 

Got estimates from a number of companies for french drains and two sump pumps (with a backup battery)  in opposite corners of my large basement..  Arid's price was in the middle of the pack (unfortunately the price went up after the initial bid due to substantial rebar in my basement concrete, which had to be cut out for the french drains).  The french drains and sump pumps were put in as planned (it's a very messy process, as warned in advance by Arid; remove everything from your basement if possible beforehand).  They've been in around two years, and are working great.  Every few months when we have a big rain, I can hear the sump pumps switching on and off downstairs, and I smile, knowing that it was money well-spent.  This past weekend we had a major rain storm in North Jersey, and I went down in the basement to check on the pumps.  They were working great.  Water was literally gushing into the sump holes from the french drains non-stop, and the pumps were just as quickly removing the water.  My basement would have no doubt been under several inches of water if not for the pumps and drains.  Arid did a great job. 

They were there right on time. They communicated well on the phone. They came and did what they were supposed to do for a reasonable price.

These guys were great. From the estimating process to installation, they were prompt, professional, fast and clean.

Arid performed an illegal job. They left me with a broken drain pipe which caused 2 (1 major- fecal backup) sewer backups. Illegal hook up to the city main sewer line. The crew they sent to do the work not only broke the pipe, but they covered it up with cement, collected the balance and left. The owner Jim Fusco reviewed the damages and denied they did it. I have pixs of before and after the broken pipe. I also have a video from an external plumber that clearly shows a piece of broken pipe in the main sewer line. I put a claim into their insurance company Western World Insurance Group for all damages and losses and remediation work that needs to be done in my basement. I find Arid Basement Waterproofing unreliable, insidious in their actions and have filed reports to the BBB, NJ of Banking and Insurance, etc. I could not allow this company's carelessness and unreliability to go unnoticed for the good of the general public. I am still trying to recoup my losses, etc.

Overall, went well. Had a few false starts to schedule the work but the company persisted and completed the work.

WE CALLED THEM AND THEY GAVE US A FREE ESTIMATE. I FEEL THE SERVICE WAS PROMPT AND THEY COMPLETED THE JOB IN ONE DAY. WE HAVE NOT HAD WATER BACKED UP IN THE BASEMENT SINCE.
