We are a local Female & Family owned & operated contractor who has been serving the South Jersey area for over 30 years in all their Electrical, Heating, Cooling, Solar and Generator needs. We perform both light commercial and residential Electrical, Heating, Cooling, Solar and Generator installations, renovations and upgrades. We train our team to not just have the technical skills needed to do their jobs well, but how to help customers get to what they want for both comfort AND budget. Working with us you'll come to expect an amazing office staff to take your calls, address your needs and get the best technicians to complete the work you need done. Our technicians receive weekly training to stay on top of today's ever changing technology. They are all uniformed, background checked and drug tested. All Electrical residential & light commercial, heating & cooling - generators, indoor/outdoor lighting & solar installations. We are knob & tube, aluminum wiring and rewiring experts as well as solar installation & repair experts. For HVAC we are experts on a full NJ program analysis for all available programs, rebates, incentives and loan programs. We help customers qualify for as many as possible and work to meet their comfort AND budget needs in the process. Its not about how fast we can get a customer to work with us, it's about how well we work with you and your needs and goals. We are here for the journey from start to finish and after.
Services we don't offer
We do not maintain or service oil HVAC systems. We only assist customers in the best programs for converting them from oil to gas, electric or propane systems. We also do not work on nor install Geo-thermal systems.

Company came in with more than a 400% markup $16,000 witha similar unit. Complete waste of time to get estimate.

We did review the estimate that the technician gave you because while we may not be the cheapest company out there, especially since we provide more services than most companies in these trades, we never set out to charge more than should be. The technician gave you a quote that was a bit higher than $10,000 as one of a few options that he provided. Our technicians are trained to make sure that our customers remain in control and that we always educate our customers and provide more than one option. That way customers can choose what works best for them and for their budget. We are sorry that we weren't able to provide a choice that worked better for you. they returned when scheduled and added the 2 outlets. They never inspected the rest of the house. I didn't even think of it until after they were gone.
The outside outlet died after 1 use. I contacted them and they sent the tech out very quickly. While he was here, he said that he wanted to replace a breaker because he didn't like it. He said they would call when they had one which they did. He came back out a few days later with a 2nd tech. It was apparently the wrong breaker so they couldn't do it. Then he said that I have a 20 circuit box and 4 were doubled up and the inside of my box has rust so I needed to upgrade. He couldn't give a price and said he would when they came back out. I am wondering why he didn't come across this when he was installing that 20 amp circuit. And maybe he would have seen it had they done the inspection. He never followed up. A 2nd person told me that only 1 was doubled up. I will eventually get to the bottom of it.
I also called them about a concern with my ducts. This was before the last contact above. Rather than tell me they don't do that, they assured me they could take care of my question as a courtesy if I did the AC tune up. So I did and the tech was not able to assist or answer any questions. So I wasted $100. Would have really just preferred them to say they don't handle what I was asking. My AC is new. It didn't need a tune up.
Everyone has been very friendly and they clean up after themselves more than any provider I have ever experienced. It's just that my last 2 experiences were not so great. They weren't terrible experiences but they left me a bit concerned about using them again.
We checked with several other companies, and we had a lousy experience with all the other companies. Some said the only way to get a cable outlet where we wanted it was to drill through the floor. Others never kept their appointments, and one came and didn't have the tools to do the work.
When Raynor came, they were helpful, arrived on time, prepared to do the work.

my house and cleaned up after they were done. The only evidence of them being here was the new unit. The installers instructed me and gave me tips on running the new heat pump. They also answered any questions I had while they were doing the installation. They were very knowledgeable about heat pumps. Matt the sales rep was very accommodating in helping me meet my
budget with the proper equipment. I am extremely happy about the new unit as it works just like they said. It runs smoothly
and quietly. The owner of Raynors also stopped in to make sure that everything was done properly and make sure I was happy.
They also did a good job of following up with the NJ rebate paperwork. I would recommend them to everybody without hesitation.

What we see outside of the sheetrock is so much different than all the work that goes into these tasks behind it. We work very hard to train our technicians every week not just about the technical side but the importance of good customer service too. "Hello, Thank you for taking the time to post a review. We really appreciate it! The difficult thing about electrical is that problems often require a deducing sort of detective work. We can start with one of the most likely problems and we try to keep it cost effective for the customer rather than replacing their whole system from the start if that is really not what they will need. Unfortunately though sometimes the problem turns out to be more extensive which isn't always possible to figure out until you take something else out of the equation. We are sorry that the issue at your home turned out to be more extensive, that is understandably frustrating! The electric company came and could not find anything wrong, but changed out all the leads to the house. So far, so good.
I will use Raynor Electric again. Everyone I dealt with was very nice and professional, so unlike other companies I have dealt with in the past; they also called for a follow-up on their service.
