I really can't say enough good things about MC Construction. Eric Couper was recommended by our kitchen designer, and after meeting with him we were so impressed that we did not even get competing bids. Eric is so knowledgeable, responsive and pleasant to deal with. His crews (Joe and Chris, and Eric and Steve), were top-notch. Not only were they hard-working but they were also perfectionists, which is what you want from people working on your home. When a solution to a problem was needed, they worked as a team to find and solve it, and Eric sometimes found work-arounds that ended up saving us time and money. I wholeheartedly recommend them!

Eric and team did a gut renovation of our master bath. We were extremely pleased with the outcome and the process. Eric was responsive, provided spot-on estimates of what it would take, and was on top of the project from beginning to end. His team are high quality, have great attention to detail, and communicated well throughout. Any unexpected issues that came up were handled promptly with no delays in project. A really outstanding experience.

Recently, I had Eric and his crew (Chris and Joe) along with other team members to help with another renovation. Therefore, I have to say I am still quite impressed with the quality of work that this company does. This particular company goes above and beyond and they really came through for me and my family when we needed something to get done in a timely manner. The master bedroom and hallway came out stunning and I could not be happier with it. I would highly recommend this company to anyone who needs any renovation projects done.

MC Home did an incredible job customizing our new home. We found them August 2020, moved into the house October 2020 and began work in November. The crew was a delight to have at the house everyday while we were home working, of course noisy with the demo but we made it work! Availability for materials/doors/windows delayed the project at times which was out of their control. Word of advice during home remodel during Covid, don't delay decision making! Eric did a great job explaining things that we didn't know or other ways to think of how to build/style. The sunroom is hands down our favorite room in the house. The fireplace needed a makeover - MC Home gave some great suggestions on trim/moulding styles and it was done in a week. Overall, I appreciated the time Eric and the team took to make sure we understood the process and keeping us in the loop as it progressed each week. Project costs were reasonable and in line with industry standard. We'll definitely recommend them to friends/family and use MC Home in the future!

MC Home Improvements and Construction did a complete replacement of our Master Bathroom. The project went extremely well including there estimates of time, labor and cost. The quality of the work and people doing the work were excellent. They set proper expectations, communicated well, cleaned up as expected, and delivered as promised. Any unexpected issues which arose were handled promptly with no delays in project. They really did an expectational job on our bathroom. We also found the vendors which they recommended to use for tile, fixtures, etc. were easy to work with and also meet all of our expectations. Kelly who was our project manger went above and beyond to exceed our expectations.

2nd time using them. Never disappointed. Very responsive and accommodating. My wife originally picked out the wrong molding. When the team was installing we notified business owner and the next day it was delivered and installed within a few hours. Very clean and neat. Would highly recommend again.

We had our upstairs bathroom renovated, with a new shower, vanity, cabinets, shelving and skylight. Kelly from MC was on time, professional and always safe with respect to COVID protocols (masks, etc.). We were always kept informed of the status of the job throughout the life of the project. But most impressive, however, was the result: A beautiful new bathroom. As we had an older home, we needed a customized shower pan, glass, etc. The communication between Kelly/MC and the materials providers (glass, saddle, vanity, etc.) resulted in minimal issues and a smooth operation with results that we are very satisfied with. We would recommend MC to anyone and would certainly use them again.

Eric and his team worked on a 1-room den renovation in our home. Even from the initial meeting with Eric, he was overly communicative and completely up front about all possible considerations and unknown risks that could come up when taking on our renovation, which was very important to us.  Throughout the whole process, Eric was absolutely accessible and easy to contact. He answered all questions within minutes of calling him and was amenable to quick pivots.  Our town was rather difficult to work with in terms of scheduling inspections (and then having inspectors actually come when they were supposed to), which caused our project to almost double in timing. Eric did an amazing job project managing our job, which you don't often see in contractors, to schedule as much as could possibly be done during the extra off/down time while waiting on inspections. The quality of the work completed by Eric and his team was of topmost quality, and we are rather picky. In terms of professionalism, honesty and quality in a contractor, Eric is a true gem.

This was our 2nd job with Eric. It was a complete renovation with demolition down to the studs, removal of a wall and move of door to the guest powder room and move/enlarge the exterior door. John, who did most of the work, was great. It's an old house so of course there were surprises and some decisions couldn't be made until the demo was done. The job started in mid-January and John was able to get the kitchen functional just as NJ was shutting down due to the pandemic which was a huge relief. As we settled in to quarantine, he was able to get the final items done - backsplash, painting, misc. We now have a beautiful new kitchen.

MC finished our basement including framing, sheetrock walls and ceilings, recessed lighting, washer and dryer installation, closets, electrical work, and plumbing. Having their guys work here was a pleasure, they were highly professional, fun people, always on time and very clean. Eric was always on top of things and helped us to get exactly what we wanted. All at a very competitive price. I would hire them again any time.

Eric, Helder, and the team were great. I got my front walkways, stairs, and rear patio done by the MC team. They ripped up all my front walk ways and poured new cement, removed and re built my front steps, and installed a new 1,100 sqft paver patio in my yard. Will never use anyone else!

We cannot recommend the talented folks at MC Home Improvements enough. We were adding a deck to the house and the original contractor (friend of a relative) abandoned the job midway. Called MCHI and Eric came over that day to assess the situation. They completed my neighbors deck after SS Sandy and did a great job. Should've started with them. Eric reviewed our our plans, pointed out a few things missed by the original contractor and made some suggestions that we were happy to incorporated into the finished product. He kept us informed at each turn, always returned our calls promptly and answered our questions patiently. MCHI workers were respectful, neat and friendly; they took pride in their work. The end result is fantastic and the source of many compliments.
