Holman Toyota

It'd been almost 10 years since the last time I purchased a car. When the time came to purchase a new one I did my homework and decided to buy a new 2013 Toyota Camry LE. Like most people, I was excited about the prospect of owning a new car but wasn't looking forward to the process of actually buying it.
I utilized a service called TrueCar which got me quotes for a number of local dealers, including Holman Toyota. Holman had the 2nd best price for the car I wanted with the best price being at a dealer about 90 minutes away. Holman was not willing to match the other dealer's price but they were willing to split the difference with me, which I felt was fair.
The overall process took about 4 hours but that was as much my fault as theirs. I spent a lot of time reviewing the paperwork and crunching (and re-crunching) the numbers. They, in turn, took a bit longer to prepare the car and complete the transaction than I would have liked. In all fairness, though, they did have to get the car ready at a moment's notice (the one I wanted had arrived at the dealership only a few hours before I arrived to make the deal.)
I dealt with Salesperson Joe Morin and New Car Manager James Ellis, both of whom were professional, courteous, fair, patient and just plain NICE to deal with. Not at all what you might expect given the horror stories we've all heard about car dealers.
I ended up getting a terrific car for a very good price (considerably less than what other finalized sales were in the area for the same car, which I found out through Consumer Reports.) My price of $21,171 included a $500 manufacturer's rebate, a $100 AAA discount and 0% financing for 60 months. Perhaps my only complaint was the amount they gave me on my trade-in, which I felt was a bit low even considering the miles and condition of my car but worth accepting in order to avoid the hassle of having to sell it myself.
Part of the TrueCar program is accepting a car that is already in the dealer's inventory. If they have to go elsewhere to secure it then there's an additional charge. Even then Holman came through. They didn't have the color I wanted when I first approached them but they had one that was en route and reserved it for me without asking for anything in return like a deposit or even a promise to buy.
The buying experience at Holman was superlative and I only hope that my dealings with their service department will be the same.

I have a Toyota Highlander 2008...55K miles. There was a squeaking sound and some unknown fluid coming from the front passenger side of the car.
I debated whether to go to the dealership or a repair shop...kind of a price vs. quality thought.
I made an appointment with Holman Toyota...easy, quick.
Brianna Frost checked me in..I asked for a full car check and oil change and tire rotation since it was close to time for that...I asked if there were any coupons/senior citizen discounts..she quickly applied them to my service.
An hour later, Bri gave me the news....the car was OK except I needed a new water pump to the tune of nearly 1K!!!!
My response was..."outrageous... a "Toyota" water pump should last longer than 5 years/55K..what about the old reputation of quality.. long lasting??
She told me that Holman would contact Toyota and she would speak with her manager. I took a deep breath, rolled the dice and signed for the work. Bri gave me a loaner car, no charge since the work would take about 4 hours.
I headed to church for some volunteer gardening. While there I asked one of the guys to comment about my situation...he said to get the timing belt changed as well...I called back to Bri. She said I had a chain not a belt, no need to change...BUT, she then told me that Bobby Durante, her manager said they would replace the water pump...NO CHARGE TO ME!!!
yotaWOW..no warranty but, Toyota stood behind their product!!!

They are a dealership. I go there because my car is still under warranty. I have never felt pressured by them.
