Castle - The Window People

I would only recommend Castle for VERY high end windows. They do not have different grades of windows and sell only one type. They are VERY VERY expensive. The sales "pitch" is very long (over 2 hours) and reminds me of buying a used car. The letters of recommendations are simply an advertising campaign. They told us if we were to do 4 things we could get a discount on the final price. One of those 4 things just happened to be writing a letter of recommendation.

Honest, upfront and well informed.

They were exceptional. The initial meeting was quick, yet very informative, and the entire process was done quickly, neatly, and budget friendly.

While I am happy with the door which is good quality, it took a long time to get it installed. When it was ready, I was called by a sales person who pressured me to have it done on a day when I needed to be in work. I explained this and he promised they would be there by 8am. They were not there by 8:30 and we rescheduled again being promised an 8am installation which did not show up. The third time, I stayed home and they showed up by 1pm. While I am thinking of having them do more work, this was an issue I would hope they resolve before any more work is done.

Very nice people and very professional company that had our windows in within about two months after starting and had the windows installed in 6 hours!!

They did a very nice job for us.

The work was fantastic. They saved us a lot of money on our heating/electric bill. They are real efficient.

They are excellent. They were very good at cleaning up. My house felt as if I had a central air conditioner, I don't I have a window air conditioner. Joe was the man that showed up, he was fantastic! I would recommend them to anyone. I called some of their references and got great reviews from other people.

My dealings with Castle, "The Window People" was exceptional. Steve Lompado, the salesman, was professional, informative, and pleasant in every way.My windows and doors are of high quality and improved the appearance of my home.

A while back, a salesman came over to my home. He was very inflexible with the price. When he said he would get back to me with an answer on whether or not they could install a low treshhold, he never did. I called him instead and left him a message, he returned my call one week later. A different salesman came over to my house. This time we negotiated a price where we met half way. I specifically explained that I would like my own knocker/peephole and mailbox slot installed ion the new door. This was clearly outlined in the paperwork I signed. When the measurements were taken by their people, they took my knocker/peephole and my mailbox slot with them. Today, when they showed up at my house to install the new door, I noticed that the door does not have ANY knocker/peephole, NOR mailbox slot!!! This type of service is unacceptable! I do not know when they will install everything like they should have to begin with.

We are very happy so far with the product description. Still waiting to be installed.

They were on time, freindly, professional, and explained everything that they were doing. They were happy to answer all my questions during the installation and didn't even get mad when they had a great deal of trouble with one of the old windows.

He gave us the best price, for a quality product, delivered ahead of schedule, installed quickly, cleaning up all debris at the end of the job, and followed up on outstanding items. I was very satisfied.

They were on time and worked very hard and were very professional. The only thing I would suggest is - after taking out the old windows they should brush off the extra dirt from the sills and around the outside instead of just covering over all the dirt and little pieces of glass. I also had to have an adjustment to the back door because it wouldn't close and was disappointed I couldn't get someone to come out 'till the next day. This left my house unsecured all night. Outside of the above problems everything else was fine. The house looks brand new and finished. Thanks again! Mrs. R. Eckhardt

So far as I can see they may be good but their proces are high.

Excellent sales presentation with good responses to all our questions. Pricing was very favorable on an outstanding product. The installation was done on time and in a very professional manner. The installers did a nice job cleaning up when finished.

We met with Dennis Burns and he was an amazingly kind and informative sales person. We appreciated all of his ideas and advice and didn't feel he was overly "salesy". We purchased about $5000 worth of windows.

Although expensive, the quality and service were great.

I think the hard sell at the beginning was a bit much, but overall I'm satisfied with the installation.

The quality and selection of doors was impressive. I found the quality and construction of the door to be far superior to the pella etc. Ordering and initial specs. went easily. My major concerns were each addressed with assurances that their installers were "proffessionals" After about 6 weeks, the door was ready and was arranged for installation on Sept. 19, 2007. There was one man to put in a large door with two 14" sidelights, pre-hung so I had to help the guy. He was fast and efficient, and the door was done in a short time. However, the highly touted "cladding" on the surrounding material was white aluminum, and even though I expressed a big concern at the time of the order, that they be sure to have an extended sole plate extension because my walls are 6 inches thick, they came with a standard one, leaving over 2 inches of soft aluminum exposed. He also arrived with the wrong size interior molding. It is now December 22 and two visits later, Not done, Still waiting!!!!!

The sales person was very good, informative and exhibits excellent customer service. The actual work has not yet been completed. It is not expected until Sept. 2007
