My Mothers furnace had stopped working on Saturday, I called Homeadvisor and they connected me to American Plumber LLC. On short notice a plumber was on the scene. However the parts needed were not on hand and he suggested that I call a larger company to see if they had the parts required to resolve the problem. The other company came out and wanted $10,000.00 dollars to replace the unit, after deciding that too many parts needed to be replaced. Now that it was clear that the unit was not repairable, I decided to see if American Plumber could do the job. They came in with an extremely reasonable offer and came in and had the job done in just a few hours. Their price was about 1/3 of what the "big guys" wanted! We had a very pleasant experience with this company. They are polite, honest and conscientious. Really Americans!! I highly recommend this company. I can't say enough about how these guys came in on no notice just before a blizzard and got the job done! Give them a try and you will not be disappointed!!!

They were very professional. Called right away and went out to see what the problem was. This is one of my bank owned listings. The valve was leaking on the washing. machine hose. He went back the next day and fixed the problem. Was very honest.

I described the amount of room between the curb and sidewalk and they brought the smaller back hoe to fit the need. The break was under the sidewalk and they cut the walk to get access. Repaired the broken line that was cut when Jersey central power was putting in underground power lines. Would recommend them in a heart beat. I manage multiple rental houses and they are going to be our first choice. now. REGULAR PLUMBERS do not have the equipment handle large jobs.,

Ernie responded to my HomeAdvisor.com request for a quote within 5 minutes of my post. He showed up the same day, did an excellent and efficient job, and charged a fair price. What more can a customer ask.

I don't give out 5 star ratings anytime because I feel that there's always room for improvement - showed up on time & did a thorough job - this is my second time with them & the cost for the first time to replace a leaky pipe was a little high in my opinion...

A work date was set. Plumber called two days before and said he had a cancellation and could do it then. He showed up exactly on time. Job was completed (actually two jobs - the second was a toilet repair) quickly and for the price quoted ahead of time. Price was very reasonable. Plumber cleaned up nicely after himself. Very pleased with the service.

They are very efficient and timely. They were always on time and completed the job when they said they would.

Very professional....quick response. I had a gas leak and NJNG turned off my gas until it was fixed. They came the next day an had the problem resolved quickly.

Ernie was courteous and helpful. He promptly provide an estimate for the gas piping for my generator and worked two Saturdays to accommodate my work schedule. The installation was approved by the city inspector without a glitch. I would highly recommend American plumber for all your plumbing needs.

Did a great job. He quickly took care of my water heater servicing and repaired my fridges water line within an hour. I'm very happy with the service I got.

I did not feel the price jump of 50.00 was appropriate since the service was not any different from the normal 99.00 drain clean.But the plumbing business is what it is.

received a good quote for a quick replacement of a leaking water heater. Next day service was appreciated. Very professional work. Add on work, as in an easy swap out of my leaking faucet was overpriced at $150 considering I had the part and they were already on site. I would negotiate such things before arrival. Maybe it's their policy but it's a bad one.
