The contractor, Ernie, provided a fair price for either installing a tub or a complete bathroom reconstruction. We selected to reconstruct the bathroom. The work was done in a clean, professional manner. The home was built in the 50s, so there was a need to do some reinforcement to the subfloor as well as the wall studs to be able to take the weight of tilework and prevent flexing, which would end up cracking tiles. Ernie took every precaution to make sure the work was completed right. There was a minor issue with the toilet installation, but as soon as I spoke with Ernie, he made sure to make things right. I highly recommend this contractor!

I hired American Plumber to do the work. They did a great job in a timely manner.

Was prompt, professional and very courteous. Water was leaking from under sink.... problem was diagnosed quickly (faucet was loose and thus was leaking). Showed me exactly what was wrong and fixed it.

American Plumber did an excellent job replacing my water heater. They responded to my request promptly and was at my door the next morning. They showed up on time and was done in a couple hours.

Ernie and his staff were great. He installed a tankless hotwater heater. He was honest and informative. He did an excellent job from the proposal to the completed job. He even cleaned up after himself. Ernie was very respectful of our time and house. He laid down drop clothes not to mess up my house. This is amazing, I have had workers in here all summer he was the first to do this. Ernie did an excellent job for a fair price. There were no "little extras" as with most contractors. We were very pleasantly surprised. Ernie and Sam called and told us precisely when they would be here. They analyzed the problem and fixed it very quickly. They also took care of one other problem that we identified. Their work was very professional, clean and very reasonably priced. Definitely would use them again.

Ernest called me within minutes of my placing my request. He talked to me in detail about my issue and even offered to come out on a weekend, with no difference in price for weekend visit. He was very friendly and the price was reasonable My specific issue turned out to be a broken toilet wax ring. He did a good job of troubleshooting the issue and talking it thruogh with me. I would definitely work with Ernest again and would recommend him with no reservations.

So pleased with the service. Called at 8pm by 10pm the work was done. So nice and neat.Would recommend to all the neighbors and friends.

Had a water stain in my kitchen floor, Called plumber out of the phone book and swore to me the issue was toilet and swapped out toilet. Did not fix issue and did not trust Due to Service magic rating called Ernie and he just finished a job and came over and was able to snake a camera and found the leak and fixed within an hour an half. Was very professional and neat and would highly recommend him.

Plumbing issues were handled promptly. All questions were dealt with completely and respectfully.

He did a very good job of helping me decide that a traditional water heater was better than tankless for my situation. Very professional and easy to talk to. Once I decided what to do he got the job done very quickly. He matched another plumber's estimate which was lower than his original estimate, and to the best of my knowledge, did the job right.
