He was very responsive and professional. I chose to go with another company mainly due to the estimate given being much higher than the company I am going with.

He was delayed by weather but once the snow stopped he promptly provided an estimate. However, his was the highest estimate received so I had the job done by another contractor.

I called Tait for an estimate on replacing my gutters. Mike, from Tait, came out and looked at the existing gutters and told me he thought that they did not need to be replaced at this time. He gave me an estimate to install gutter guards. I decided to hold off on having that work done.

Bit of a slow start due to weather, etc, but once started, the guys were there every day. There was a roofing crew, and the woodworking crew. One of the guys was my contact if I had any questions, and he would update me or check in with me almost daily. They were very professional, but also friendly. The site was cleaned up every day. The roofing crew was careful not to leave the roof exposed, in case of bad weather, as it was much too big to do in one day. If anyone had a question on how to proceed (as in when they found damage worse than expected), they brought me out to show me and check what I wanted done. If they had suggestions (which I wanted) they were not afraid to offer their opinions, which I appreciated. Also, Larry Tait followed up afterwards to make sure I was satisfied with the work that was done.

Tait roofing was the first roofer out of three who could figure out what was wrong with my roof. He tried to go the cheeper route but that didn't work. All the other Roofers told me it was going to cost tons or even thousands. Tait Roofing found where the water was coming in after putting a hose on the roof, none of the other's did that. He was practical. He came out and fixed the spot all in a day. They are a half and hour away and they still come down.

Our kitchen roof has been leaking on and off for 18 months, after a new roof put on, after 2 other roofers came out and "fixed it." Mike with Tait Roofing thought it was simply that the gutters weren't cleaned out, so he cleaned the gutters for free and asked for updates after the next few rains. He explained what the next step would be if that didn't work, but it did! It did take a few days for the call back after my initial call, but he came out the same day.

I called Tait because I was missing some shingles on the roof. Mike called me back to discuss the problem and I also mentioned that I was concerned about a possible leak from a vent. He came out in a couple of days and went up on the roof and assessed the problem. He informed me that there were shingles missing and that most of my vent pipe collars were damaged or cracked. He also asked me if I had had a change to my air conditioning unit. I informed him that the builder had erroneously put in the wrong type of system and had to change it. He informed that the had done a terrible job on the roof vent and offered to repair that as well. He came out within a week, completed the work and mailed my bill.
