my Chihuahua/St. Bernard mix suddenly developed a mast cell tumor on his leg 6 months ago. A surgeon and oncologist from Oradell animal hospital said the prognosis was not good because other tumors could pop up. We knew if was time when the dog stopped eating and would not take his pain meds. When I saw Dr. Cameron he asked was why I was euthanizing the dog. I have had many pets over the years and Dr. Cameron is the first vet to ever ask why the dog is being euthanized. He check out my dog and considered the possibility of having the surgeon remove his leg. However when he learned that dog had a mast cell tumor he checked further and found that tumor had spread to his liver. Dr. Cameron is one of the most compassionate vets I have ever met. He let me hold my pet when they tranquilized him and then he administered the final dose. My pet died peacefully and the staff made a paw print for me and clipped some of the pet's fur as a memorial keepsake. As Dr. Cameron puts is this is the circle of life. I highly recommend Dr. Cameron at Cameron Animal hospital. The cost of the procedure and the disposal of the remains are quite reasonable.

I don't remember the cost. It was under $200. Well, they're super busy. So you get there or if you get an appointment, you have to wait a long time. They're very good. I trust whatever they say. They're really good veterinarians.

They have been there like 35-40 years or longer. I have indoor cats. They are reliable and have been there a long time so they especially Montclaire which is a very mixed town but affluent. They do very well. The only thing is that my little kitty and it is just one of those things that happen picked up ringworm while she was there. They kept her overnight for the procedure. I guess there was another animal there closeby and she picked it up. Their prices are pretty competitive. The are kinda old world. They are not into the laser procedures. The quality is very good. They are very quick. They have a good team. A team of young vets working for them. The next generation of things.

,Worst experience ever with a vet. I called for an emergency visit since my 12 yrs. old cat was constipated for two days. I appreciated that they fit me in right away within an half hour. I got there they seem very laid back not that professional no smile no welcome. The receptionist asked a tech to sit in for her while she went to do whatever. I saw Dr. Miller and the pleasant tech assisted. I did not get that comfy cozy feeling from the Dr. she was quite cold. She said they would keep my Angel for a few hours and probably would have to give her an enema after taking x-rays and seeing she was blocked. I arrived at 11:00am left 11:41 she told me to call around 3:00pm, the pleasant tech came back and could see I was upset and told me to call around 1pm to check on her and tried to reassure me not to worry. I called at 1pm was on hold awhile and then told Angel had an enema and had not defecated yet. Call back in a couple of hours. I called back at 3pm someone picked up the phone screaming at someone else then said Cameron Hospsital calling, I said excuse me and she then said oh someone picked up the wrong line hold on. Some one finally picked up I asked about Angel he told me to hold and then he came back and asked if I wanted to speak to Dr. Miller, she got on the phone said they gave Angel 2 enemas and she did defacate but not much she could go home now they had given her fluids and cerenia give them another half hour before picking her up. When I arrived to pick up Angel Dr. Cameron looked out and said Angel was really blocked did Dr. Miller talk to me the receptionist said no, so I'm thinking she had to tell me something. I sat for an half hour Dr. Miller saw me in the waiting room and said nothing, the pleasant tech came and said oh you're all set she took me aside totaled my bill of $295.00 and I asked what fluids did they give she said laculose I asked how she said intravenously (mind you Angel was not shaved anywhere) she said in her hip. I was just annoyed and wanted to get out. I get home and Angel is smelling of a very strong perfumey smell even my other cat would not go near her. She did not defecate at all I called the office the next day and said she still did not go and was not eating the person said hold on. She came back and said Dr. Miller said bring her back for bloodwork I said are you kidding me that should have been done when she was there I was not about to bring her back there. I said I was not pleased and she asked if I wanted to speak to Dr. Miller (who should have spoken to me when I called) I told her no I was not pleased with her either. Worst experience ever for my Angel and myself. No one ever called to see why I was not satisfied.

As soon as my family walked in with our pet, we were greated! The receptionist was extremely friendly and quickly registered my dog as a new patient. Within minutes of filling out the form, we were seen. The doctors were very up front with the treatment needed for my dog's ears and explained things in such a friendly and understanding way. He even told me how much each step would cost and offered a couple different suggestions (that unfortunately I had already tried). The nurses treated my dog as if he were their own. Although I did have to sit in the other room while the treatment was going on (he had to be given anesthesia) I was constantly approached by a member of their staff telling me that he was fine. Very shortly after, my dog came out awake and extremely freaked out by how clean his ears were! The doctor gave me medication and told me while he was out, they clipped his nails and shaved around his ears and face and behind just because they though they'd save me the time of having to bring him in separately since he's probabaly a difficult dog to groom. I was so thankful that my dog is fine, I understood what was wrong and how to follow up with at home treatment, and that my dog was treated like a family member instead of just another dog! I am so happy that I found a vet using Angie's list that I am 100% happy with that I will definitely use them for my small animals too!!

They are top notch and I recommend them. I have been using them since the 80's. His pricing is reasonable and the vet is very good and thorough. They do an excellent job diagnosing and treating problems while providing routine animal care. They also board animals as well.

I think that they do a terrific job. They're very caring and loving. They do tend to keep me waiting a long time. They don't have up to date systems and so they're not on a computer or anything like that. I think their record keeping is an issue. They seem to do a really good job but often I have to wait when I get in. I think they lack an up to date computer system which is something that is tracked from their overall professionalism. I spent over $400 on their services the last time. I don't have anything to compare their prices to. I think the quality of service when it comes to the vet is the care that they provide.

On Buster's reexamination he was found to be in good shape. Dr. Ruiz explained the test results and what should be done next if the condition recurs.

I have been bringing my animals to this animal hospital for 30 years. They are caring and loving people. Their diagnosis of various pet illnesses has always been right on. Right now they are taking care of my 20 year old cat and new puppy. The office could use some updating. Sometimes it smells pretty bad. Parking is often difficult. But with all these drawbacks I still think they are the best vets around.

I have been using them for years. They are friendly and caring. They go the extra mile and can never do enough for the pet or the animal. We used them to watch our dog after he had surgery. We would drop him off each morning and pick him up each nice so that he would have someone to be with him and he wouldn't bite the bandages off. They took excellent care of.

Dr. Cameron, along with his staff, are dedicated animal lovers. They have never turned me away nor have I been told to wait for an appointment when it was a possible emergency. Although my dog stayed with them all day for a few weeks after his tail surgery, so he would not re-injury himself, they charged me much less than I expected and made him feel safe and welcomed.

THE CLINIC WAS VERY CLEAN, THE TECHNICIANS APPEARED TO BE KNOWLEDGEABLE ALONG WITH BEING FRIENDLY. THE VETERINARIAN WAS INFORMATIVE AND CLEAR ALSO. OUR PET WAS IN A GOOD MOOD WHEN WE PICKED HER UP, SO I KNOW THEY DID A GOOD JOB.

I WAS NOT PLEASED WITH THIS VET. I HAD TO WAIT A LONG TIME BEFORE WE GOT IN. PLUS, THE PRICE WAS EXTREMELY HIGH FOR JUST A CHECK UP. THEY ARE CARING AND NICE, AND THE STAFF IS VERY PROFESSIONAL, BUT I PROBABLY WON'T GO BACK.

I TAKE MY CAT IN ONCE A YEAR FOR A CHECKUP AND SHOTS. THEY ARE VERY PROFESSIONAL AND GENTLE. THE DOCTOR CARES MORE ABOUT THE ANIMALS THEN HE DOES ABOUT THE MONEY. SOMETIMES I HAVE TO WAIT A LITTLE WHILE TO GET IN-HE IS SO BUSY.
