We are very satisfied with all planning and work done by PJ Sullivan Construction Company on our home. They exceeded our expectations and are very happy we went with them for our project.

Peter, the owner, provided all of the construction and cost details, professional suggestions and explanations that we needed to make informed decisions.

The project management and workmanship was excellent! The guys who worked on our home were very skilled (and VERY nice!) and we really appreciated the constant presence of the Project Manger, Dan, from start to finish.

We would definitely go back to PJ Sullivan for all our future home projects.

The project went very well and are very pleased.  Pete and Dan at P.J. Sullivan are detailed oriented and always took the time to answer my many questions.  I went with them because of their attention to detail rather that some contractors that I knew were motivated to finish the job as quickly as possible.  We constantly getting compliments on the work and have given multiple referrals.

PJ Sullivan is quite simply the best contractor I have ever hired or contracted with as a home owner over 25 years.

Certain aspects of the contract were left somewhat undefined and when we came to that phase of the project, PJ Sullivan exceeded my expectations and over delivered.

Their work crews are well organized, professional and run a very clean job site. The quality of their overall work can be seen in every little detail, they simply did not cut any corners on my project, which ran approximately 3 months in duration.

We had a very positive experience from beginning to end working with PJ Sullivan. ?The job took 2.5 months from start to finish and PJ Sullivan Construction was a great partner to work with. They were organized in the execution of each piece of the project and offered excellent aesthetic input for all of the design details. The trades people used for various aspects of the work were all professional, easy to work with and the area was always kept clean at the end of each work day. The final outcome was exactly what we had hoped for. Peter Sullivan is very easy to communicate with and made himself a real partner with a vested interest in a successful outcome.

The project went extremely well despite severe winter weather conditions, which sometimes made the ability to work outside impossible.? However, Pete and his team delivered the home to us on-time and on-budget.? Pete takes his job?seriously and acts more professionally than any contractor I've ever meant.? His "old school" ethics are ingrained in his new world thinking, which makes Pete's?hand shake as good as a?written contract.? That said, Pete is very methodical and puts everything in writing for?you.? He?explains things thoroughly?and provides price estimates as if they're exact calculations.? His word is his bond and?Pete runs a complete project with the best resources he knows...his family!? Often using his daughter?or mother as?realtors to find new projects, his son to work on, and?brother to manage, the projects with him, and his wife to interior decorate completed projects...and his father to act as security to ensure nothing "walk-offs" the project.? With such family involvement, Pete and his family take extreme pride in their workmanship and value the reputation and name they developed in their town for many generations.? I'm looking forward to the next project I can work on with Pete and his family.

Started ok, friendly. A check I gave him was returned - my bad- and despite my giving him cash several days later, including extra monehy for fees HE INCURRED, he was  then unable to have roofer install copper roof on the portico in a timely manner. He was agreeable to having me find another roofer to complete the job. The second roofer said his roofer, who left the job unfinished, was going to do it incorrectly. All in all, it was lucky the way things turned out. Job finished up nicely

The installation went well with although due to a busy schedule the project did not get started on the dates originally proposed.  This was due to a heavy work load on other projects.

I called them at the very last minute -- the very day I needed the work done. Peter -- the owner -- was himself involved. They were immediately responsive, helpful, imaginative, professional, nice, timely. literate. I can't recommend them highly enough. The person he sent was extraordinary capable. I would use them again in a minute -- and have already recommended them to my architect. Even more extraordinary -- he was self-conscious about the price and reduced it during our conversation!! Given my urgent need , the fact that they rushed in from Midland, New Jersey and in light of their professionalism, I would have pleased to pay even more.

From the getgo, Pete was very responsive - called me back right away and came out to do an estimate within a few days. His crew showed up when they said they would, and the work was completed when he said it would be done. I had no complaints and would recommend him highly.

The project turned out better than we could have expected, Pete gave us so many ideas that we never would have considered. He finished the project on time and on budget -- and made sure his work area was cleaned up every day so that we could use our stairs. We are thrilled with the outcome, would highly recommend PJ Sullivan Construction and will definitely use their services in the future.

He did a beautiful job. I would definitely recommend him to anybody that has difficult trim work. We were very happy. His price was about average. He was not super cheap, but he wasn't expensive either. He was responsive, friendly, professional and trustworthy. Everything went smoothly and they were really clean. He and one other worker did the work.
