L & B Construction

After interviewing 4 different companies three from Angislist and one from a mail advertisement we chose L&B. My girlfriend truly loved his enthusiastic approach about making our Bathroom beautiful. He was our man!! LOL The communication throughout the job was exceptional. Cuqui and Berto were very knowledgeable and really helped us design how everything should be laid out. We converted from a tub to a shower that was designed with lots of Handicap items such as a fold down Moen seat and two Moen grab bars. Helped us plan support for all witch is very important! I have a Boxer and had to stay in home during construction and it is the only Bathroom in home I was able to use the toilet everyday but one because of laying floor! He said job would take 12 days and did go over by one day however he did add additional items to complete. Also installed a new window in my Kitchen wow looks great! If want the personal touch and reliable committed contractor L&B is your company.

Both installation went well initially but then after few weeks, we realized that food crusher installation was not done properly and it was blocking the draining water from our dishwasher. We had to ask another installer to fix this issue so we can use the dishwasher. The experience was worst for a kitchen vent. Immediately after the install, we told Berto that air is not getting outside (through a newly installed vent). He came to check the installation and said everything is fine. We keep suffering the same issue (where food smell was not getting out through exhaust fan) for almost 2 years. Then recently, we asked another installer to check it out. What he found out was that installation was not done properly and the air outlet area of the over-the-range microwave was blocked and hence vent was not getting the air (and hence was not venting cooking smell outside). I decided to write this review after almost 2 years of installation because I don't want any other customer to experience similar situation. I would not recommend their service to anyone else.

Great. Professional job at great price. The whole team was flexible professional and clean. We have another job scheduled with the team and expect the same terrific results.

We are very happy with the outcome. Berto's quote was very competitive and the work they did was top quality. Berto was involved and engaged in the project from day one. We are hiring him to do our other bathroom too.

I hired L&B for the first one and could not have been happier. They are SUPER responsive and extremely easy to work with, the tear down was done with almost no dust in rooms outside of the bathroom because they take so much care in their process. Berto and Cuqui do excellent "behind the scenes" work (sheet rock, plumbing, etc) and their tile work is exceptional. I think what I liked best is that Berto LISTENED to what we wanted and delivered on it ALL. I was so pleased with the work that they were hired to do the second bathroom, which includes expanding the size of the room. Can't wait to see their magic!

It was a delight and great satisfaction with the work from L & B (Berto and Kuqi). They are detailed and quality oriented, very careful and clean, a great working attitude which could not easily find. We are very happy with their work and quality workmanship. We're sure looking forward to hiring them again. Great Work!

It went absolutely great! L&B advised us on what and where to buy the material. The contractor, Berto, was on time, went over the plan and the work schedule and then did it! He attended to all the little details that my wife loved. When a medicine cabinet install left some wall exposed, Berto (from L&B) installed custom corner molding which not only hid the problem area but complimented the cabinet as well. All the plumbing work was professionally done as well as some last minute changes that i had neglected to tell him about. Top notch work.

All jobs were done very nicely and to my expectations.

Berto and Cookie went above and beyond to ensure that everything was done right and on time. They not only demolished and rebuilt my bathroom, but changed the location of the light switch from out in the hallway to inside the room itself, along with a few other items that will make my life easier. I was very pleased with their work and their willingness to work with me until I was completely satisfied with the job. Would definitely hire again, and would highly recommend to anybody looking for competent, professionals to work in their home.

They did an excellent job and completed on time. I did find an issue with one tile after the project was completed, however they returned in a timely manner and replaced the tile.

Berto and Cookie are masters. very responsive, punctual, professional. Absolutely impressive work ethic, great quality, affordable prices. Would definitely hire again and recommend to others.

Great. He met me at Home Depot and made suggestions on how to make my bathroom look nice and be cost effective at the same time. He and his partner did a great job and for a fair price. AND they cleaned up after they were done.

Process was quick and projects were done within a week or less
