TERRIBLE!!!!! Stay as far away from this contractor as possible. Zoli Custom Tile was hired to 1) install hardwood flooring on our stairs and in the upstairs hallway and 2) renovate our Master Bathroom. The hardwood job took place the week of 7/11/16 and the bathroom renovation began on 9/6/16. As of this date, the bathroom remains incomplete and as a result of Zoli's poor workmanship, we will have to incur additional costs to get the job completely properly. Zoltan Papp, the owner, advised he would return on 9/23/16 and again on 9/26/16 to complete the final repairs; however, to date he has not returned nor has he responded to several calls, texts and Facebook messenger. The following items are still pending completion: 1. Zoltan agreed to build a shower seat as part of the shower tiling in our original agreeement 2. Installation of the master bathroom vanity hardware 3. Installation of the tower racks, hooks, etc. 4. Installation of the screw caps on the toilet 5. Align/level the 2 mirrors in the bathroom 6. Clean the residue/glue left on the hardwood flooring 7. Repair a hole in the upstairs hallway sheetrock that came as a result of Zoltan's carelessness with his tools 8. Since Zoltan was last here on 9/16/16, our hallway light and our master bedroom ceiling fan have not worked. We suspect that he burned something out or messed up the electrical when installing the bathroom lights. This was brought to his attention and we asked him to take a look at this when he returns 9. Installation of a new faucet and drain on the vanity in our powder room 10. Further stain the molding and trim on the newly installed hardwood so that it would match the actual flooring as agreed upon at the start of the job. Immediately following installation of the hardwood, we had to hire an exterminator to address carpenter ants that seemed to "come with the wood" he installed. Zoltan the owner is very disrespectful and unprofessional. He uses poor quality products and overcharges. Can not say enough - STAY AS FAR AWAY AS POSSIBLE. i am currently pursuing resolution through the legal system.

Please treat this review as a red flag to stay away from this company and the owner Zoli! This guy is hands down the worst contractor I have ever hired. His quality of work is sub-par, he never finished anything on time, and he disappeared when I started contacting him about fixing his work. He took six months to finally finish everything when it was supposed to be done in a month. I had to literally call him everyday just to make sure he would finish everything. Here's what added to my stress: - The bathroom had a leak which we decided to repair and ended up getting the bathroom redone. Zoli installed a new toilet which didn't line up straight and is now at an angle with the wall. The new tub had a stopper that didn't work, and the cabinets had a panel fall out within six months. The towel holder gave way after a few months taking out a chunk of the wall. There are random nail holes in the walls that I can spot and he never bothered to fill them up. - I explained clearly to Zoli that I wanted the wires to run within the wall from behind the TV including the power outlet. But he never did that - just ignored that part completely. He then cut the wall up when I complained and extended the power plug to a spot behind the TV. However, he never measured it properly and as a result I can still see the power plug under the TV from a distance and he never bothered to patch up the wall. - He grudgingly put together the playset after whining that he is doing it for cheap. Once he was done, there were parts that were misaligned, or completely missing. I had to run around after he was done to make sure the playhouse was safe for kids since it had support braces not fixed, and nails popping out as well as a panels coming loose. - And finally, he took an advance for a window I wanted replaced. It was a sliding basement window with a crack in the glass. Zoli got a completely new window instead of replacing just the glass, without once checking with me. To make it worse, the window that ZOli got didn't slide at all and it was incorrectly measured to begin with so it didn't fit. In addition to paying Zoli for the window, I had to shell out extra to hire someone to fix the window glass. When asked about refunding the money, Zoli just shrugged and said "You are not getting your money back". I tried calling him multiple times but he was AWOL for months on end and wouldn't return calls. Finally, I had to call his wife at home to make sure he called us back and finish everything we agreed upon. This is an extremely rude guy who leaves behind dirt, garbage, debris, and carpet stains! Do yourself a favor, and never hire this guy. It's not worth the aggravation.

We First Hired Zoli customer tile to redo our bathroom. The bathroom came out decent but we did have issues along the way. Minor ones and he did fix them, after numerous e-mails and phone calls. The one thing he did not do in the bathroom was replace the trim. He said the job was going to be a complete gut of the bathroom. But it was not. He reused sheet rock where he could just to save money and time. Overall the bathroom came out decent, this is the only reason he is getting a D rating instead of an F. Zoli then mentioned that he also builds decks so we hired him back, being as quote was better than other ones we had seen and we had previously worked with him. This turned out to be a mistake on my part. Although the deck was completed there were/are issue with the construction. The stairs are pitched forward and not level. The railings are not flush against the banister. They are were cut improperly and just attached to the banister. There is about 2" inch gap between the railing and th banister. When I asked about the railing he said there is no way to make an angle cut to make the railings flush with the bannister. I expressed my disappointment with the railings and he said he would come back and fix the issue. That was on July 9th. As of today 09/09/2012 he has not returned to correct any of the issues we have with the deck even after numerous e-mails and phone calls. Do yourself a favor and do not call this contractor. In the end it will be more of a headache. I am now looking at having the entire deck redone to fix his sub-par craftmanship.
