We are licensed and bonded to conduct business in New Jersey, Florida and Delaware and provide free estimates, custom electrical design and installation, as well as repair of your current electrical system. With regard to Mr. Corbin's response- I personally replaced the bulb twice and twice the new bulbs did not function. When the technician returned he re-adjusted the high hat and replaced the bulb and it worked. The original contact called for straightening and adjusting existing high hats. It is very possible that that the technician did not properly adjust and align the high hat when the initial service was performed. Charging $50.00 to re-re-adjust the high hat and change a single bulb is not a gesture of good will...especially when I called for warranty service and the company agent did not specify that there would be a fee charged. It should also be noted that the initial charge was $75.00. I then stated my case to the technician, and at my request he called Corbin Electric. At first they refused to alter the price. After a third call back and forth the price was adjusted to $50.00 These calls took longer than the service call. Mr. Corbin's apology is not acceptable. The F rating stands.
"It is quite possible that out of a supply of 30 lamps, one may find a defective lamp or two. Replacement of materials that we did not supply would not be covered under warranty. The material would be covered by the manufacturer's warranty. As a gesture of goodwill, we heavily discounted our labor charge to replace the lamp supplied by you. I appologize that this was still not acceptable to you and hope that you can understand. Adam Corbin"

If you are still in the need of a generator I would be happy to assign one of our senior Engineers to help. This company is first-class. Given the cost, we had a number of initial questions, follow-up questions and questions after the installation; all of these were handled in a professional manner. The generator was fully operational two days before Sandy hit. Once the power went out, it was a matter of seconds before the generator kicked on - that feeling is priceless.
We have already recommended this company to our friends and will continue to do so without hesitation. I really can't say enough about the Corbin team. From the office staff, the representative who guided us on what we needed and didn't need, the installation team - it was a pleasure from start to finish.
Initial response was a boiler plate estimate without coming to site. Detail was good. When I questioned if heat pump could be accomodated by load balancing, they contacted me and set up appointment. Representative gathered more specific data including heat pump load and submitted it to their "enginerring dept." It took them a fair amount of time to calculate requirements to accomodate the heat pump along with the balance of the house. I had to follow up once or twice to finally get estimate.They inidcated their engineering department was backed up, I suppose due to work generated by Hurricane Sandy. Finally received a reasonably detailed estimate which indicated I needed a 25 KW liquid cooled. Still deciding if I want to go with that large of a unit or reduce my requirements..

We received over 5700 request for generator quotes in three weeks after the Storm. We have hired a new team of in house support staff to help us handle the current requests for site visits.
