"Thank you guys! Enjoy your beautiful home."
"While we try very hard to satisfy every client that isn’t always possible. In this case we were dealing with a home over 100 years old. No upgrades had been done to either the electric or the plumbing. We explained to the homeowner’s from the start that old homes hold many secrets that aren’t revealed until you start to open things up. While there were several change orders on this project they were all reasonable, necessary and approved by the homeowners prior to the work being done. The chimney cleaning issue was known from the start and in order to save the client’s money we suggested that they arrange for it directly which was spelled out in the contract. Also in the contract was a high level of detail including floor plan, renderings, fixture lists and a full scope of what labor and materials was and was not included. Mr. [Member Name Removed] even admitted that he should have read the contract more carefully which is odd since we read through the entire contract prior to signing it at their home. We went so far as to offer to remove and reinstall the toilet daily so that the 2nd floor bathroom would be available to both of them in the evening saving them from having to go down and up the stairs in the middle of the night in order to use the first floor bathroom. While there were some scheduling issues we did our best to communicate with the clients exactly what was going on. The project manager went above and beyond in order to accommodate their needs. Mr. and Mrs. [Member Name Removed] were a pleasure to work for and we are very disappointed that they don’t feel the same way. My suggestion in the future would be for them to read any contract more carefully and if at all unclear to ask more questions. We have been in business over 30 years, have a AAA rating by BBB, have an exceptionally high customer satisfaction rating and have even won a national remodeling award. Should Mr. and Mrs. [Member Name Removed] have any warranty issues we would be more than happy to address them regardless of their view of us."
