Chris and Mike were fantastic! Great service, very professional. They were very careful with every furniture without any damage. They were quick and thorough. They were done wth the move a little under 2 hours. Overall great guys will highly recommend. Thank you so much!

Tommy came over to give a detailed estimate of how much stuff we had to move, and how much it would cost.
We agreed on a flat price and he did everything he said he would do when he said he would do it.
He and his guys worked for 11 hours and did a great job.
I was initially concerned that they didn't have large trucks but he came with 3 pretty large trucks/vans and fit everything.
They know what they are doing.
I highly recommend.

Tommy came home to give an estimate; despite of the short notice and over the weekend. He gave an estimate and stuck to it to the end. He brought movers with a truck- they have disassembled bed and treadmill. Although they were expected to arrive at 2 PM; the delay was expected and he gave us updates calling me. Also they gave me the expected arrival time and have arrived promptly on the said date and time. They have fixed the bed and treadmill. Only thing to note was for "interstate moving"  they take cash or credit card (with a 10% surcharge)- no checks; Tommy told me this in advance.

These guys are the absolute best!!  My wife and I were very unsure about hiring someone we knew nothing about to move us from NJ to Florida, but Tommy, the owner, made us confident they would do a great job and they did not disappoint. We did not have amy damage whatsoever and they took the time to put everything right where it belonged and reassembled anything that required it! We would like to thank Tommy, Chris, Craig, Elliot & Phil!! We could not have been happier with a mover!

The move did not start on time because of a glitch with their schedule.  However, once I called, the two movers arrived within 30 minutes.  Phillip and Tom were courteous, efficient and cordial.  They got right to work and finished the entire move within the expected time frame.  They  even helped rearrange furniture when I couldn't decide on its placement!  One item was also delivered to a different location without any problems.  All in all it was a smooth move and a pleasant experience!

They didn't have a large moving van but instead had to smaller moving trucks. There wasn't enough room for all of the furniture. It took a while to get going since they had to repack the truck. After the move you could tell that they were very tired. I gave each man $50 as a tip. It was around 2 days later that I noticed there were some missing items. I kept calling the office to let them know that there were items missing. It was Justin who I was in contact with and he kept telling me that they were very busy and it would be a while before they could get to me. At this point I tracked down the owner Tommy and explained what happened. I have yet to hear back from anyone about my missing items.

"I spoke to this customer on a monday she reported Justyn for not retuning her calls and not taking care of her fast enough, I understand and that is not acceptable.. Since this has happend Justyn has resigned from his position. I Tommy the owner spoke with my client about her situation on this call on monday I told her I would speak to the crew and find out what happend so we can try and track down her items .. I also told her I will send Phil the foreman of the job back to her house to try and jog any memory or recollection of the missing items.. The missing items were some kind of brackets or clips to hold her glass shelves in her china cabinet. I gave Phil off on Thursday afternoon and had him schedule a meeting with the customer for the afternoon hours which he did and he went to her house as promised he discovered we never touched the missing items that she must have packed them someplace that she can't remember or in a random box. The glass shelves to the cabinet were bubble wrapped by the customer prior to my crews arrival so she removed the pieces herself . Anyway during this call on monday the customer threatens me that I have until Friday to return her missing items or she wil give me a F on angies list.. Well I woke up on that Wednesday with my F a whole 2 days early.. Thank you.."

Movers arrived on the date of move.  It was 8:00 and, hard to believe, but because of several snafus I didn't know where the furniture was going: to my new house, my new garage, or storage.  By 9:30 we learned that we could move in.  Hurray.  The movers were excellent: very professional: very courteous, and  all-in-all very nice.  Their boss Tommy was very willing to be flexible with scheduling and remained calm throughout all the mayhem that this move incurred.   I felt they were competitively priced. and the job got done right.   Staff was adequate to get job done quickly and efficiently for loading and on the unload very helpful in helping me to visualize furniture placement.  I would highly recommend them in the future.

It seems if you get Tommy to show up for an estimate everyone is happy with his service. But as I found out, along with others apparently, sometimes he just won't show up. I don't get why I wasn't just told I was too far for him to consider. It's just a shame I was waiting at home twice for him. My advice is don't consider him if you are more than 25 miles from him.

"Estimates can be reschedule. Things happen. We never miss a job.. Estimates well we do miss a few sorry if it's you just call us back and we will reschedule . Basically I'm one man against the world I try to be everywhere I'm supposed to but I can't predict delays. I like to spend as much time with each and every customer that I can so i can REALY dial in there moving needs.. Sorry if I miss any of you but I do want to move you so don't let estimates upset you.. And plan enough time between your move just in case.."

Found out on a Saturday night that I had to unexpectedly move some stuff the next day. Looked into U-haul and hiring someone to help me. Thought about how much trouble it would be so I called Tommy at 6 pm that Saturday night. Thought there'd be no way he'd pick up and unlikely that he'd get back to me until Monday. I was wrong. He answered and told me he'd have a crew ready the next morning. 
The guys showed up right on time. Quickly moved everything out, headed back to the house and the guys quickly unloaded everything. Professional, punctual, quick and not a scratch. 
I appreciate not just that they did a good job but they did it on quick notice without complaint. Highly recommend and would use again.

It went very smoothly. I emailed them at around 7 am. not even three min. later , my phone rang and Tommy and I set up the move for 2 pm the same day, the moving guys finished their it previous job early and were able to start my move at noon, which was even better. The guys were very professional - and finished the move under the three hour window. I high would definitely use them again.

Spoke with Tommie to schedule the appointment I was nervous and stressed out, he was great!! Three guys showed up instead of 2, they were courteous and professional.  Moved items I did not tell them to move was fabulous and appreciated.  The guys really went above and beyond with my move and I will of course use them again.  Thanks so much!!!

We were moving my mothers belonging from her home in PA to an assisted living facility in NJ and some the furniture to another location in NJ. Tommy was absolutely great to work with, always available, if I didn't get him directly he called me back within the hour. Because of weather and her room readiness, the date was postponed and rescheduled numerous times. Tommy was always accommodating and it was never a problem. The original quote was for one stop and I added the second stop to the request a couple of days before, fully expecting to pay additional charges, maybe because the stops were fairly close to each other, I was told "sure, no problem" and there were no additional charges.

The guy's who showed up on the move date were on time, very personable and professional. They were patient and didn't mind moving furniture around till we were satisfied with how the room was setup. Overall this was a great experience and without a doubt I would use them again if I ever have the need and enthusiastically recommend Van with a Man.

"Ok so here it is again my 3rd BIG F.. Well I didn't even move this person seems like only the ones I don't move give me an F which is fine because everyone can't be perfect. WOW Yes I admit I blew this one while trying to help another client. I didn't get to this customer As I was on an emergency move from early in the morning taking care of a customer move there stuff out of there house as they were in the middle of a flood from a broken pipe. Trying to save someone possessions earned me a BAD REVIEW From this one but the hard work in a cold wet molded up house will bring the karma to a level balance. .When I realized the time of day and I missed this,person I called right away to apologize and reschedule but they were not giving me a chance to even speak. Well I can't be everywhere at one time and estimates can be rescheduled when you have an understanding client which I do have thousands of just the select few that can't be flexible. So just remember if we do move you we will make your move As stress free as possible. If you call for an estimate and get missed just understand we are very busy and we will get to you. Sorry for any inconveniences ."

This was our sixth move and by far the most efficient with regard to the services needed. Since it was a local move, we moved most of our household ourselves but needed help with some oversized and heavy items. The owner Tommy was extremely responsive, professional and fit us in even though it was last minute. The entire crew works like a well-oiled machine; they were all professional, polite and efficient. Would definitely use them again.

on time professional crew of 3, were quick, efficient apartment to apartment  a few miles away.The appraiser who estimated the move did a flat rate instead of hourly which seemed a little high in retrospect  vs hourly after the fact. A smooth move though and courteous crew and not day laborers that some outfits use..

Once again Tommy was great. He got right back to me when I initially called him to set this up. I had to postpone and when I called him back he was able to accomodate me within 2 days. His guys are great and remembered me and my house from my move 3 months ago! They were careful, courteous and came prepared to get the job done efficiently without any problems.I was moving antique furniture and was nervous but everything went smoothly  and without a scratch.
