Poorly.  Individual seemed  knowledgeable but despite info contained in your recommendation and his company hand out he claimed he did not do the work I needed (replace windows and fix leak}.  I believe it was because the the job was smaller than he wanted,

A-Top was very busy due to tropical storm Sandy, but took the time to thoroughly inspect the damage to our home and barns, and gave an estimate for the repair on the spot.  After engaging them, they indicated there would be a delay due to a great deal of work from the storm, and gave me a date in January for the house and February for the barns.  They came on the dates promised and did the work satisfactorily, each in one day.  The charge was identical with the original estimates
We were very pleased.

My initial discussions with Phil and his on site review went well. It did take a number of weeks for A-Top to actually get the work scheduled. The workers did a good job were polite and were able to get the job done in a few hours. We have had some heavy rain since the repairs and do not see any more water stains in one of our top floor bedrooms.

Called and spoke to receptionist to get quote for siding trim repair. 
Was told the estimator would be in the next few days.  A week passed and
I called back to find out about the quote.  The receptionist had no
idea about the estimate for the repair and she said she would call me
back. A week passed and I called back again and the receptionist told me
to call back next week because no one was around to assist due to
holidays.  I called back again the following week and was told by the
receptionist that she would find out what happened to my estimate. 
Responsiveness 'F'.   Will never call them again.  Its a small repair
job - I assume they don't want small jobs anymore!!!!   Will look at
angies list to look for another company.

They put a second layer over our original roof. The shingles are come with a lifetime warranty. They did a good job and were professional. They got it done in the amount of time that they said it would take.  They promised to clean up everything, and they did. I was pleased and would recommend them.

I received a phone called immediately from the office after leaving a voice mail message. When the estimator came I was home so he gave me a verbal quote and I agreed they should do the work, we signed a contract. Within a few days another phone call indicating the workers would be coming the following day between 7:30 and dark. Because this was about a month after the hurricane, I was surprised to have them respond so quickly. They did an excellent job as far as I can see.

From estimate to completion it went very smooth. We gave them a deposit at the time of signing the contract but due to my travelling schedule and weather related reasons they could not start the work for about 6-8 weeks. I was surprised that they did not deposit our check till the day before starting the work, any other contractor would have cashed the check the day we gave it.
They are very professional and skilled people.  The workers that came to do the actual work knew what they were doing. After finishing the work each day they will clean everything. The customer service is excellent too. 
I am very satisfied and will recommend them strongly.

The price was right. They did a good job. I haven't had any leaks since their work.

Called to schedule an appointment for someone to come out and give an estimate to replace the roof on my house. Had an appointment scheduled and no one showed up - I know they didn't come because I work from home. Called the next day and was told that they must have come since I had the appointment.  Never heard back from them even after following up a couple of times.

We had a leak in our garage where the roof of the garage meets the main dwelling. Afer getting several estimates, we decided to go with A-Top based on their comprehensive analysis of the situation, estimate and other members reviews. Everyone was terrific to work with. From the folks in the office, the estimators, to the crew each and every person was a true professional. The staff is very responsive to any question posed. The repair that was needed must have been done correctly because it rained just 2 days after the job was complete and I'm happy to report no more water cascading down the wall in the garage. We're hoping for A-Top to replace/repair the wall in the garage too. They will definitely be our first choice for any repair/remodel. Thanks A-Top for a job well done!

The owner, Andrew came out on a Sunday and gave an honest assessment of what I needed to have done.  Andrew was very knowledgeable and took time to explain the work to be performed.  I will likely use him for a roof/gutter job once the weather gets a little warmer.

The weather did not help but my first impression is that this is good contraction company.  I would not recommand them for emergency service i.e. if you need work done ASAP because we really had to wait for service while the roof continued to tear itself up (made a lot of noise day and night)... our neighbors sent their contractors by to help us.  They stopped by and were ready to do the job cheaper but we too are professional people and waited for our contractor to come.

Excellent Professional Honest Company. Highly Recommend.

I called and scheduled a visit to size up the job ( replace roof and replace a skylight.) Bill Goldberg came on Sept 2nd as scheduled, measured the job and calculated the costs. He then came in and gave us a brochure specifying the roofing materials they would use along with a brochure about the company. We talked about putting a new roof over the existing one as opposed to riping the existing roof and replacing it with a new roof. He wrote a price down for both jobs in the brochure, but I told him that I wanted to rip the old roof and replace with a new roof. He told me that when he got home that night he would put the figures into a formal proposal and email it to me.

I did not hear from him for a few days, so I called him on the cell number he gave me. He told me that he was out on a job and would send the quote when he got home. A few more days passed with no communication from him. All further attempts to reach him on his phone were met with busy signals and please leave a message, which I did. Finally, I called the office and told them I was looking for the quote. The gal checked her system and said she had a copy on file and would send it out to me. When I got it, I noticed that it was a quote for a roof-over job, not the work I told him I wanted done.  I called the office to request the correct quote, which I was assured would come shortly.

Several more days passed, no response from Bill Goldberg and no quote. I called the office again and talked to a different gal, who assured me she would pass a message to Bill to have him contact me. The result? Absolutely nothing! As a result, I joined Angie's List, got quote from three other contractors, selected one and had the job done. While this experience with A-Top didn't cost me any money, there was a definite cost in delay in getting my roofing job done, which with the approach of colder weather was causing me more than a little concern.

Despite a high grade on Angie's List, this firm deserves an F in my eyes. If you don't want to do a job for whatever reason, that's fine with me, but man up and say so. I feel that the way I was treated by A-Top was with a total lack of professionalism.

Salesman came and estimate was sent via email. I called A-Top and requested the salesman come again and explain the process in person and answer questions I had. He did so and I showed him area of concern on roof. He left samples of roof and colors to choose. I personally dropped off the deposit at the office and informed Natalie of color choosen. She explained she had to send for the permit from the township and upon receipt, she would schedule a date. Once she received the permit, a date was given. In fact, she called me back and asked if I wanted to move up the date due to a cancellation. I said yes and the crew reported to my home on Monday. Prior to their reporting, a container was dropped off for garbage. The crew reported at 8am and worked until they completed the project at 6pm. The crew was respectful and the foreman answered all questions I presented him with. They thoroughly cleaned the area and the next morning the container was removed from my driveway. Process went smoothly and the roof looks great. I can only hope that there are no future problems.

They did the job in one day and they cleaned up. I had a problem with a loose shingle and they came right away to secure it. I had no problem with that. My roof doesn't leak and they gave me a 20-year warranty. I got the estimate in October and November but it was very difficult for them to do any work until March because of the snow in January and February. They did the roof at the estimated amount and they did it when they said they were going to do it but I haven't been up on top of the roof. They gave me samples of the roofing and colors. They put it in when they were ready. Their price was in the ballpark. They were $100 more than another company but they changed the units on top to let out the air. The last roof I had done was in the 1980's. They are not a fly-by-night company. It is difficult to tell the quality because it is roofing but if I have any problems I will call them. They responded when I called them.

It was excellent. They did exactly what he was supposed to do.

They were professional.  The quote was a little high, but he was willing to negotiate to come closer to other competitive bids that I received and that was good.  The work was done well and they kept the work site clean.  The workers were good. 

We called A-Top to get an estimate for our roof. We thought we only had 1 layer of shingles, turns out we had 2. A-Top quoted us as only having 1 roof. I'm not sure if they actually walked the roof. From the time we called for the estimate to the time they came out was fairly punctual. However, no one followed up with us after the appointment and the written estimate took over a week to receive. It was much higher than other estimates, which I wouldn't have minded had it been an accurate representation of the work. It also took my husband 4 attempts to finally reach them over the phone. The overall professionalism, attention to detail, and responsiveness was lacking, which made me worry about what would actually happen if they were doing the work.

They were very professional and I recommend them highly.

They didn't try to do more than what we needed to have done. They did exactly what we needed done. They did good work. There was a manager-owner on the job when they came. On the day of the work, they came out on time. They weren't as responsive with returning phone calls, but they were punctual on the day they worked. I would use them again.

They came over to inspect the house for us. When they came to install the skylights they noticed that the attic fan was very old and suggested we replace it. I have noticed our home staying much cooler this summer, and think that he made a wise recommendation. The work is excellent. The workmen were fabulous and did a nice job. They were very careful to not scratch the walls, and were very nice to work with.
