Two guys came, early and waited until scheduled time to knock. Asked to see the spaces, took notes and explained what they would do. They got to work, I checked in from time to time and they were done completely in 5-6 hours. Cleaned up, we went over paperwork, they thanked me and left.

Joe & Mike were here 1/2 hr early/introduced themselves immediately/pleasant-started work immediately. Best ever, perfect (Been with them since 1994)-Jim's now Vaugh.

Vaughan Heating and Air Conditioning salvaged what could have been a very cold Holiday season. After a bad experience with a different company, Vaughan Heating and AC showed the utmost professionalism by helping us through an emergency situation promptly and courteously. From the young lady who took our frantic phone calls, the gentlemen who emailed all night to ensure that our paperwork was in order to the installers of the tank and ending with the gentleman who delivered our first shipment to our new tank, I couldn't have been more satisfied with this company. They have truly earned a lifetime customer!!

They arrived promptly on the scheduled day. They were polite & courteous while performing the work. During and offer the work was performed they were neat & cleaned up. There was never any pressure and I couldn't have asked for a better experience.

It started with me getting my heater checked for the start of the season and they inspected my oil tank and said it was going to start to leaking. I'm so happy he inspected everything because if he did not do his job it would have been comes. Then the guys came out to do the job they put turps down to cover my tugs and went to work they were great they did such as nice job. Yes its not for spending 3600 dollars but this could of been so much work if the gentlemen did not catch how bad the tank was. Thank all of you for your hard work and doing such of a great job.

The proposal received was very completer and offered us two options including any eligibility for rebates or credits. We had the work done and technicians arrived on time every day and were both friendly as well as very professional. They cleaned up well. Our son and his wife used them for a furnace replacement and were equally pleased. We would highly recommend them

The WHOLE experience was a complete pleasure!  Tony, the estimator for Vaughan, came out the next day when I called about replacing our air conditioner. He was here over 2 hours and explained every detail along with the cost estimates. Once I called and agreed to the terms of the estimate, the installers were scheduled to come out the following week to do the work. Important to note...My air conditioner went during a long heat spell. Vaughan still had my heater and AC installed in less than 2 weeks!!  That says a lot for this company. I would recommend them to everyone.

Had central ac unit for 21 years and scheduled consultation with Tony Pelligrino from Vaughan for Wednesday to spec & price new unit.  Old unit motor fan quit Tuesday night.  Tony was awesome, but the earliest install was Monday.  It was a rare July humid heat wave and Tony provided us with 2 window units to get us through the weekend.  Now that is customer service and a real lifesaver!  They worked well and we kept cool until Monday.  Crew of Jeff  S. and Mike G. were professional, courteous, quiet and great guys.  Install was flawless and jobsite was immaculate when they were finished at end of day.  I have been a Vaughan customer for years and will remain.  Why go elsewhere? They respond fast and provide reliable professional work and go above and beyond in the customer service department.  Thanks Vaughan! My interactions with Vaughn were very frustrating and I would suggest staying away from this company unless you want to spend over-market prices for your repairs. I was having issues with my unit and called Vaughn looking for coolant and a dye check to capture the source of a potential leak in the system. I asked Dave, the Service Technician what kind of cost I was looking at before I hired them. He told me that the coolant was about $50 a pound and $90 or so for the diagnostic visit. Three pounds later I was charged $230 for the coolant. Apparently the first pound was $110, and each subsequent pound was $60. When I called back and inquired about the cost, Dave said that he just provides approximate costs – I found it odd that the Service Technician wouldn’t know the price of coolant. At that point, I already had the dye injected and figured I’d have them back to finish the job. The dye injection was another $80 (on top of the visit charge), a task that took about five minutes to complete. I was told that this was their “standard” rate for a dye injection. My first bill was $435, including tax. Four weeks later, they came back and diagnosed the problem (bad evaporator coil) and charged me another $235 for approximately 30 minutes of work. Again, they said it was their “standard” pricing for diagnosing a leak utilizing a dye test. Overall, I was charged approximately $320 for a basic test which ended up needing limited man-hours to find the leak. After the fact, I checked the cost with a couple of other outfits and they gave me a $200-$225 price. To add to my frustration, the service technician pulled me aside during the second visit and tried to hard sell me a surge protector for another $185. I politely said no and asked how much the evaporator coil replacement would be. He gave me an estimate of $2,400. I then asked him how many hours of labor the job would be and he thought approximately 3 hours. My jaw dropped to the ground. It didn’t make any sense. I was now $670 in the hole for 3 pounds of coolant and a dye check, with a pending four digit expense in my future. 30 minutes later the phone rang and it was Vaughn looking to schedule the work. Stephanie at Vaughn told me that the technician didn't realize that the part was under warranty and the labor would be slightly under $1,000. I then questioned the amount and she said that the $1000 was their “standard” rate. I noted that the labor amount appeared to be high for a 3 hour job - she said that if the job took 8 hours, for whatever reason, it would still be the same $1000. At that point I was done. This company was taking advantage and my mistrust level for Vaughn was off the charts. I got on the phone and started calling other providers for an estimate. I was able to get two other estimates, both approximately 50% of the quote that Vaughn provided, and btw, all A-rated companies on Angie's List. I hired another service provider and the job was completed without incident. Unfortunately the fiscal damage had been done and Vaughn was able to extract a few hundred extra dollars from me before I wised up. All I can say is, before you hire this company, do your homework.

The installers were great. Efficient, courteous, professional, personable, clean. They spent 2 ½ days doing the install punctual. Have no complaints. Excellent service.

Marcus matt were on time both days. They were very professional and did a fantastic installation of both the A/C a heater units. They explained How it works in detail and the operating instructions. I would recommend Marcus matt to my friends.

It went great!  The two gentlemen to came to my home were on time, very professional and kept the area clean.  I'm very satisfied and would highly recommend Vaughan Heating and Air Conditioning to my family and friends.

We used this company in 2009 (2nd floor furnace and A/C) and 2010 (1st floor A/C) and were very happy with their performance. When our 28 year old 1st floor furnace died, we only called Vaughan for an estimate. I checked on line for furnace and A/C estimates and felt the water heater and install was fairly priced. When I discussed the furnace and install estimate and said it seemed a little high Mike G. offered a slightly lower price which I accepted. Mike also made some recommendations that were fiscally in my favor; lining the chimney for the water heater or not; energy efficiency levels for rebates (end in 2016).

Matt N. and Matt W. who did the install performed all the mechanical, electric and plumbing superbly. As a registered professional engineer I appreciated good workmanship and Vaughan delivered for this third install since 2009. They were there when they said they would be and finished at the time planned. Everything was left in good order. The new exhaust and intake pipes to the outside were neatly done and good closure of no longer needed chimney vents.

Excellent! After contacting Vaughan, a technician was at my home within 3 hours. Anthony was professional and very knowledgable. He carefully explained and showed us the problem. Within one day, the parts were ready and Anthony returned to repair and install the AC. The work progressed smoothly and we received updates throughout the repair. We couldn't have asked for a better experience!!!

I can't say enough good things about this company. I submitted a service request online at 8am, had a call back by 8:15 and a tech at my house by 8:50. The kicker is they were having phone and computer issues, so they called from personal cell phones! The tech showed up (Anthony) and was very professional, explaining exactly what he was doing and what was needed. He also put up with my dog, who kept "inspecting" his work. Thankfully, it wasn't a major repair and was most likely caused by excessive moisture in the gas mains. 
Since my HVAC system is old, Vaughan will be my first call for an estimate on a new system and I will definitely be signing up for the system maintenance plan in the mean time. With the outstanding customer service that they provided, I HIGHLY recommend these guys for any HVAC needs.
