 + -1 moreWashing machine was backing up in to kitchen sink. Called Richard Taylor plumbing and they were there within and hour as they said they would. The main line was snaked out with a power snake. Plumber also found a leak. The nut that holds the tail piece was cracked and seeping water. The y replaced both tail piece's and strainers on our double kitchen sink. No more problems . Good job and a fair price. I would use their services again

I don't know if their prices are the lowest available but were certainly fair and transparent, earning a level of trust. Their workmanship and skill seemed very good. All in all, like dealing with family members who happen to be plumbers. Satisfied, and would recommend them.

 + -1 moreWe've used them before and it went great. We've used them already three times in our new house and they've been fantastic. The staff is great and very polite. We've had three different people from the company working here and they were all great.
Description of Work: We've had Richard Taylo Plumbing & Heating do three jobs for us since we've moved in here. One time it was $150 for a small simple thing. One was for $900 and the other one was about $600.

Description of Work: We were putting in granite countertops. We needed to have the current plumbing under the sink lowered to accommodate our under granite sink as well as new shut-off valves. They came within 24 hours & gave an estimate. A day or two later they came to do the work. They installed new shut-off valves for the kitchen sink and dishwasher and determined a leaking water pipe in the wall. They had to come back to do the work a different way because the original plan was not going to work. This was not Taylo's fault. There was a small leak in the wall so they had to replace the shut off valves in the wall.. They then hooked up the kitchen faucet, dishwasher and waste for the kitchen sink. While they were at our condo, they also fixed the overflow in our tub. They were wonderful!

 + -1 moreService like it should be! I called them with an HVAC issue ( not an emergency ) and a truck showed up the following mid-morning ( as scheduled ). The gentleman was very knowledgable and didn't mind me asking random HVAC related questions I had concerns with ( our previous home had a boiler so this system is new for me )... He even took the extra time to do a test to see if we had any air pressure issues... ( we didn't ) but I felt better knowing we hadn't . The end result... Our system was fixed and we've had no issues since. I'd highly recommend them to my family and friends.
Description of Work: Hot air furnace wasn't staying lit... The night was mild and we had a gas fireplace in our master bedroom so this wasn't an emergency call.

Description of Work: I got an estimate from this plumber based on a reference. Rich Taylo was reasonable initially and gave me a good estimate on the job. However, as I researched other plumbers, I learned more about the work to be done and got back to Taylo with several questions. He became more impatient with each question and apparently thought my inquiries suggested I did not have faith in his work. Not having used him before, I thought it was sensible to understand what was being done since I'm paying the bill. I thought that if he had problems discussing the job with me before work began, he would be even less cooperative as the job progressed. So I decided against using him.

 + -1 moreTwo plumbers (Frank and Nelson) arrived promptly at 8:30. Since the project turned out to be much more than originally planned, a quick call to Richard Taylo re-organized the days schedule to accomodate the work that needed to be done. The guys worked diligently from 8:30 to 5 pm, during which they put drop clothes down in the working areas and cleaned as they went. When they were finished they left the place spotless.
Description of Work: Hired to install a water softener for aprox $350 in my 1936 home which had a combination of galvanized pipes (in basement/to utilities) and copper supply lines to upstairs living spaces. Once we started moving ceiling tiles around in the basement, there were two sections of galvinized pipes with "pinholes." Upon discovering this I had them removed all the galvanized piping in the basement and replaced with copper pipes. The agreement was to charge time and materials, which included installing the watersoftener, re-piping starting at the water main shutoff to/from water heater and furnace, installing ball valves to shut off different sections of the house, installing a new hose bib in the front (which bypasses the water softener).
