Cobra Sewer Drain & Plumbing Service, LLC

It was a relatively small job, replacing old pipes and fixtures for the bathtub and shower of our very old bathroom. It didn't take long at all. The tile man came early on Thursday to remove the tiles and not long after he was finished the plumber arrived to install the pipes and fixtures. Early the next morning the tile man returned to put in the new tiles. They co-ordinated their work to get it done in as short a time as possible and we are very appreciative of that.

Cobra's service was excellent. I had a slow drip from an old cast iron pipe, and we did not immediately find it. Nick diagnosed the problem, and he spent about 4 hours cutting the damaged section of pipe out and repaired it. He was excellent. Nick's wife Lisa sets up all of the appointments, and she is extremely responsive and prompt. A plumbing company who responds within minutes on Blackberry is a huge plus! I had no prior relationship with this company and found them here on servicemagic. I am very pleased with them and will call Cobra first in the future, if I have plumbing issues.

Cobra took nearly 15 seconds to respond to my ServiceMagic request, but all ended well. Nick had to postpone the initial service date when, earlier that morning, he started on another scheduled ob that proved to be much more extensive than expected. But that's OK -- emergencies should come first! The rescheduled visit came off as promised and was done neatly, efficiently, and at the quoted price -- which was well below the price quoted by a second ServiceMagic plumber. Nick didn't even seem to mind my watching a bit, though I mostly left him alone. Cobra is now my top choice for a much larger project we have in mind for next year.

The plumber did an excellent job resolving the clog. However, he was unable to locate the "clean out" so he had to remove the entire toilet bowl to snake out the sewer line. The additional work resulted in a much higher cost ($200 estimate vs. $475 actual cost).

They got back to me right away and made the appointment and did the job to my satisfaction. I would not hesitate to call Cobra again.
